An I CAN READ title that seems not to have much appeal in 2020 as most children have no idea what a jester is and little interest in Medieval Times.
Storyline is the little girl wants to be various occupations that girls were not in Medieval, a jester, a knight, etc.

Rounding up for the sake of young me. This would have tickled me silly through many rereads, back when I was a girl. A little simple, even for an early leveled reader, but in a good way.

A childhood favorite I recently found at a thrift store. The kids love it.
Hester is unhappy with just being herself and wants to be a jester like her father. She goes on a journey trying new things out and realizing how happy she really was to be herself.
