An interesting book on getting organized as a teacher/school principal. This book focuses deeply on a tickler file and a digital task manager. It is directed at people working in a school system, but has great real life examples for recurring tasks, project planning, and getting things done.
The author flips between analog (paper) and digital systems, but draws great parallels for different kinds of projects and shows how both systems could be useful. I think it makes more sense to either print the digital or scan the paper (instead of keeping 2 active systems at the same time), but otherwise, a good read. A short book but packed with actionable advice and with some real life scenarios.
Great advice! I’ve been looking for a system to organize all the hectic tasks, notes, and paper
Not just for school principals! I’m a coordinator, but this will work for any professional that is a “one-person-show” (aka no intern or assistant) in any field! I’ve learned things I’ve not seen anywhere else. Love it! I’m going to purchase the hard copy and get it spiral bound too.
