"Make sure you have all night, because once you start you won't want to stop reading. Every book's a winner!" New York Times Bestselling Author Brenda Novak
This contemporary romance boxed set includes 3 full length LOVE IN BLOOM: THE REMINGTONS novels: GAME OF LOVE, Bk 1 STROKE OF LOVE, Bk 2 FLAMES OF LOVE, Bk 3 Sneak Peek, SLOPE OF LOVE *** GAME OF LOVE... Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she's been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier, she came to Dex seeking comfort and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.
Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the United States. He's handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he's not sure he'll ever find a reason to feel again.
A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run--and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge, or are they destined to be apart forever? *** STROKE OF LOVE Kate Paletto runs a volunteer program in Belize for Artists for International Aid, where she deals with self-centered artists who use the program as a means to repair their marred reputations. She loves the country, the people, and what AIA stands for, but too many diva volunteers have turned her off to press-seeking celebrities altogether and left her questioning the value of the volunteer program. When she meets incredibly handsome and charming Sage, he stirs emotions she hasn't felt for ages, even though he represents the things she despises.
Laid-back artist Sage Remington escapes his wealthy lifestyle in the Big Apple for a two-week journey of self-discovery to figure out how a guy who has so much can feel so empty. When he meets ultra-organized Kate, who lives her life the way he's always dreamed of living his, the attraction is too hot to ignore, but Sage is there to figure out what's missing in his life, not to find a woman.
Every look, and every late-night chat in the romantic jungle brings them closer together, but Sage can barely think past stripping away Kate's misconceptions about him. Kate fights him every step of the way--even though she finds it hard to ignore the strikingly handsome, generous-to-a-fault artist who wants to do nothing more than right the wrongs of the world--and love her to the ends of the earth. *** IN FLAMES OF LOVE... As one of New York's Finest, firefighter Cash Ryder is always prepared. When a woman's car skids off the side of a mountain during a snowstorm, he's there to rescue her. Cash is totally focused on the woman's well-being, but within minutes of getting her to safety, he realizes that he's nowhere near prepared for the heat that rolls off of sensual, smart-mouthed, and stubborn Siena Remington.
As a model, Siena Remington has dated some of the wealthiest, most handsome men in the industry, and she's made peace with the idea that most men are just looking for eye candy and they wouldn't know how to romance a woman to save their lives. When she's rescued by a tall, handsome stranger, she thinks that maybe, just maybe, she's found her own real-life romantic fairy tale--until he opens his mouth and everything that comes out is gruff, ornery, and aggravatingly sexy.
Thrown together during an annual firehouse calendar photo shoot, the passion between Cash and Siena sizzles, and neither one knows how to control the flames. After an evening of verbal sparring followed by a sinfully sensual night, their darkest secrets are revealed--and so is Cash's warm, romantic heart. But Siena's secret might be too much for big, strong, always-prepared Cash to handle--and Siena is forced to choose between a man who's everything she's ever dreamed of and an opportunity of a lifetime.

One star is still too high! I didn't finish any of the books because as soon as I saw the blasphemous gd word in the books, I stopped reading; that's a immediate turn-off for me. I am not interested in reading anything by this author, nor would I remember her.
BEST SERIES EVER! THE REMINGTON'S: #1 - GAME OF LOVE: At just 26 years old Dex Remington is the top PC game developer. His life looks perfect on the outside but he has closed his heart off after the only girl he ever loved left him without a word 4 years ago. He knew Ellie had a tough life, moving from foster home to foster home but they'd been friends since she moved into his neighborhood when she was 12 and he was 13. Now, looking across the bar, there she is, back in New York. As hard as he tried to stay back his body would not listen. Regardless of how fragile is heart still was he couldn't ignore the draw his body had to her.
Ellie was back in New York for several teaching job interviews. Her old college friend had promised her a place to stay and now it seemed she was flaking out on her. Sitting in the bar with everything she owned in 1 suitcase the last person she expected to see, at least this soon, was the only guy that she ever gave her trust to, at least as much as she was able. With so much emotional baggage Ellie struggles to truly let anyone in. Yet, when fear strangles her again the one person she knows who will be there is Dex.
This book will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions as you come to slowly learn more about Rex and Ellie's history. They will have a tough road ahead as both learn to trust and endure as Ellie learns to put her past where it belongs and allow herself to truly trust and accept love into her life. Yet, will her past ever stay behind her?
#2 - STROKE OF LOVE: Sage Remington is a New York artist who has built a reputation that demands insane amounts of money and yet, he isn't happy. Determined to find passion in life again he volunteers to spend two weeks in Belize helping Artists for International Aid with their efforts. Sage has no misconception about the conditions he is going in to. What he didn't expect to find there was a spunky director with an attitude against all artists.
Kate Paletto has been in the south of Belize for almost two years and her frustration over not accomplishing the hopes and dreams of the people there to get a well in the small city is pushing her to her limits. She is tired of the spoiled, lazy, rich artists her head director keeps sending there to repair their reputations and not getting the help they really need. When the newest group of volunteers arrive Kate isn't expecting any different and has already decided they are all the same. Yet, she can't seem to take her eyes off the tall, muscular man with the incredible smile.
While Kate's insecurities twist her upside down as her heart is being pulled to Sage she will have to learn to trust that all artists are not the same. And Sage, who has known he wanted more out of life than just producing art and collecting money, will finally find something he is passionate about, in fact, he will find a woman that drives his passion for life and her through the stratosphere.
#3 - FLAMES OF LOVE: Cash Ryder is a firefighter struggling with a recent loss his team experienced on a call. In his head he knows he didn't do everything he could and he can't let go of the loss he feels responsible for and the widow that was left behind to pick up the pieces. When he saves a woman who runs off into a ditch on a snowy evening he finds himself drawn to the completely unprepared beauty who looks vaguely familiar. But when he finds out who she is and what her life as a model entails he isn't sure he is the right man for her. Will Cash be able to live with her choices when she is asked to do the unthinkable for her career?
After firefighter Cash Ryder saves her life in a snow blizzard Sienna Remington begins to think her dreams of finding a considerate, romantic, kind-hearted man may just be possible, even though they challenge each other at every turn. As a model, Sienna has been asked to do many things to further her career but she may be faced with the most difficult decision of her life. Will Cash be understanding and confident in their love to accept the choice she must make or will it mean the end of what could have been?
So... I will give three brief reviews for each book here below. But in general, as a whole this three book set is wonderful. I enjoyed each book enough to not regret the decision to read them or to get this book set when it came across my sights on a day it was free. (I usually don't enjoy book sets on kindle, but it was free so... yeah.)
Book 1: Dex & Ellie: 4.5 Stars Perhaps because it was the first book of Melissa Foster's I've read, but it was really good. All three books do a really good job of avoiding most of what I refer to as 'stupid drama'. Meaning someone miscommunicates and doesn't try to fix it, or someone just assumes something without any actual evidence and doesn't try to get said evidence before just deciding their correct and wreaking some sort of havoc on the hearts of our main characters.
Doesn't happen here. The drama that ensues is based on the trauma of our heroine, and while not as severe, the slighter anxiety that our hero was put through as a child. Ellie is so sweet, but stubborn and a bit hard headed. She has a heart of gold though, and loves children and education. Dex is wonderful. He loves her so completely, and while he may have briefly tried to keep his guard up (with good reason), he doesn't do that to an extreme.
There is no sudden secret reveal that causes one of them to run away from the other (part of the stupid drama I would've hated). These two struggle to find the place where they trust each other completely and have no fear of the other leaving, but it's a beautiful struggle that I enjoyed my time reading about.
Book 2: Sage and Kate: 4 Stars Only a slight drop, and not for any real reason I can pinpoint except that I favored Ellie and Dex (so mostly just from a personal standpoint.) Sage is an artist on a two-week assignment in the jungle to help kids less fortunate than him. Kate is the woman in charge of the program where he's sent, and has been for the past 2 years. They butt heads briefly (again, there isn't a lot of stupid drama, and what little does occur is in the beginning of the book, where it promptly stays for the most part, so I'm happy.)
This is where you begin to see that all of these books are going to basically have the same formula. Again, since their no 'stupid drama', I don't mind that. But it is the same formula, just FYI for people who would be annoyed with that. (They meet, they try to resist but can't really fight the instant attraction, they slowly start to give in, they get together, they do have a bit of something that tries to pull them apart or put strain on their relationship, but ultimately 'love conquers all'.)
But I did still really like Sage and Kate. While it's the same formula, the characters are not the same, and they hold their own and make it a different story that you still want to read. Kate is selfless (to a bit of an extreme and at times to the detriment of her goal, but in the end she figures that out.) And Sage is just... wonderful. He's a gentlemen with the ladies (again, a bit to a fault) but disrespect the woman he's decided to care about and he'll throw you up against a tree. Loved it.
Book 3: Cash & Siena: 3.5 stars I want to preface this by saying that the 3.5 is more of a personal thing again. The formula is the same and the characters are still different enough that you want to read this book. I just didn't feel as connected or invested in these two as I did the others. I think that's mostly Siena's fault. What drama she was dealing with I thought was kind of stupid. (Like... I never would've said yes to this bull****, helpful to my career or not.)
I liked Cash a lot, especially when we got to see the softer side of him. Even the bit of domineering side is actually sweet when it's for Siena. And I did like Siena, but not as much as I enjoyed the other Remingtons before, and for that reason, we dropped to 3.5.
Still have no regrets reading all three of these books, and Melissa Foster is definitely someone I will be coming back to when I want my fix of romance that I can feel pretty certain won't be filled with 'stupid drama'.
I picked this up while it was on offer and I'm glad I did. This is a compilation of three stories, and I have to admit that while I liked the first story, I didn't think it was great. I think Ellie's character needed a little more work. The second and third stories were actually much better. I found Sage's story much more interesting, and then I loved Siena's story. I particularly liked the antagonism between Siena and Cash before they got together.
The books were well-written and highly enjoyable. There are elements of a crossover with other series where we meet couples (whose stories I haven't read), but it's not necessary to enjoy these books. I did find it a little odd though that everyone's family seems to consist of numerous brothers and a single sister. A little more variety to the set up would be nice.
Still, I liked these books and have already bought the fourth story.
Incidentally, I wasn't crazy about the cover. It took me a while to realise the guy wasn't just hugging his own very hairy shoulder.
Strange how several members of one family are famous for different things. Book one Dex is famous for creating video games and has been in love with Ellie since childhood. Ellie has problems with her foster parents and leaves when she's teenager. Years later she is back and they finally work thru both their insecurities and get together. Book two Sage is famous artist and feels something missing in his life he volunteered to spend two weeks in Belize teaching art and falls in love with the director of the program. Kate has decided to devote her life to traveling to underprivileged countries to help and has no plans to fall in love until Sage steps out of car. They both come back to USA and start their own non profit to help get water to underprivileged village. Book three Sienna is famous model but really down to earth. Cash is firefighter who blamed himself for the death of man he couldn't get to in fire. He rescues Sienna in snow storm and sparks fly. They face their own set of issues and come out in love.
I love the series of Dex and Ellie how they they both care for each other since they were young. They met again after 4 years and their love for each other finally had a happy ending. I also liked the story of Siena and Cash, it made me laugh but a little bit complicated. How can Siena not realized she will be ruining her reputation by saving Gunner's bad image. Finally she realized what is important money or love. I almost stopped reading the story of Sage and Katie. I did not like the character of Katie, intelligent but for me stupid.
The first 3 books of the Remington a family of 5 brothers and one sister. A family that falls fast and true. 1-Dex and Ellie, 2-Sage and Kate, 3-Siena and Cash. I'm a full-time copy editor for a living and these books are pristine. If money was no object, this author would be on my automatic buy list.
This set deserved 100 stars. I loved how each couple had their own stories alone but that they intertwine with each other too. I really resonated with Siena. She is a tough girl but let's her soft vulnerable side show with her man. Can't wait to dive into the rest of the series.
The first 3 books in the Remingtons series were nice, all sweet love stories with obvious outcomes. It was very laughable, however, the names of the male characters, one family had Rush, Kurt, Jack (which didn't fit in with the other names), Sage and Dex. The Braydens, Treat, Rex, Josh! Another family had Gage and Cash!! Seriously, you couldn't come up with more realistic names?
My favorite is Siena and Cash, but I absolutely love each of the couple stories. I wish there were more is Cash and Siena. Every single couples story is simply amazing. I also absolutely love that previous couples continue to show up in other books and their lives are so intertwined.
It took me awhile to get through this since my personal life took a few unexpected turns so I couldn’t sit down and read. But I will say that I enjoyed this author and her books.
This series and author is new for me and although there were some unrealistic situations and scenarios, I did enjoy the flow and the escape. I also enjoyed the mushy romance.
This boxed set was really a fun to read. It took me through a whole set of emotions. I went from laughter to crying. The next thing I felt was that I wanted to kick somebody in the butt. I loved the HEA’s for each story. If there are more books for this family, I plan to read them.
It was great having the first three stories in this series. They bring together family and the bonding that coup couples try to achieve. And the writing makes you feel everything they are.
I would have enjoyed this box set more if there had been less of the g-damn word used. I'm not a prude, but just too much of it going on. Damn really works well in most instances, giving us the same effect.
Enjoyed reading this set about the Remington's. Their family stubbornness in finding love. They resist it, but once they can no longer resist, it hits them big time. Melissa Foster can write them well!!!.
Thoroughly enjoyed all three books well written, great descriptive passages, steam, romance everything you want in a story. The Remington Family is a great addition to the Family romance genre, highly recommend and I am off to buy more My vote 4.5 Stars
This is a great set for a great price. I enjoyed each book and look forward to reading the other books in the series. I'm never disappointed in a book written by this author. Friendship, family, and romance are found in all of these books.
Each story was well written with remarkable characters and tight plotlines, holding your interest till the end. I truly enjoyed each book in the Remmington series, highly recommend.
Well written and executed brilliant stories, maybe some reader's not captive the messages. But the story lines about helping people and care to much resolve the conditions where they live ,romantic relationships and families respected values.Recommended
The series 1-3 was free on Amazon. Nothing startling except how over the top attractive the men are, and the women are at best all needy in some way, even the stronger ones. I’ve read 1-2 but I am not rushing to read #3 in a hurry.
I really enjoy reading all of Melissa Fosters books they all have me turning the next page to see what is happening next. Stimulating love scenes. If I didn't have a job I would probably read a book straight through.
Amazing storyline. Great characters and a wonderfully unexpected plot.
What more could you ask for? Such interesting characters, perfect plots and a great storyline in each book. I did not want this to end!! So very well written, and realistic. Kudos to Melissa Foster!!
This boxed set still free on Google play books right now. As the romance novels, the good things is that each book could be read independently. But the cons was the story became repetitive and all of the plot was a fast forward plot.
I generally like Melissa's books, but in this series I found the pace of the narrative very slow, repetitive and boring. I had already read the first one and didn't even remember! 🤦🏻♀️. The 1st story ⭐️⭐️, the 2nd ⭐️ and the 3rd one, this one showed the author I like ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
