It was a very well-written and coherent. Authors produced it in such a manner which allows both C-levels, HR management and data analytics to find something interesting and worth remembering during the lecture. This particular trait of I, however, was both its advantage and disadvantage - at least for me, as I have been expecting something more detailed, maybe with more practical examples and case studies when it came to actual data analysis. Of course, it would be hard to do so within 300 pages and preserve versatility of this book in the same time.
So, this book is rather a set of basic guidelines and great introduction for everyone who wishes to start their journey with people analytics. And it's clearly worth a recommendation.

Purely work related read - good case studies in the middle chapters of practical applications of workforce analytics. Most of the chapters are pretty basic, " how to project plan and build stakeholder buy-in". If anything good conversation starter for HR related functions

A good summary and guidebook for those starting out or well along the way in Workforce Analytics. Being a practitioner, I found some useful advice particularly concerning stakeholder management, dealing with resistance and re-emphasising the value of storytelling.

Not as engaging as Excellence in PA however still a worthwhile read that gives you a reinforcing perspective on PA best practices - some overlap as it is reference material for the expanded 2nd version

Case studies are interesting & relevant however more of a journey-starter for HR rather than deep insights; Credit to the authors, they used simple, business language which is easier to digest than data

As someone building a team and their own skills around people analytics this book helped me incorporate more structure. The cases were relevant and useful.
