Catrina has outdone herself with this sequel. I can't even say enough. You were on the edge of your seat with the first book, and I anxiously awaited to find out what happened. Picking up from the continued mystery, to the hot, sultry and sexy fun relationship between Erik and Ronnie. Aka; Veronica. Their relationship went from turn up the volume on the HOT scale to laughing so hard at their sexy stubborn banter, I could hardly stand it. In a good way though. Smiles. The relationship between John and Erik has developed in this book, and let's just say, it's worth the read alone. Once again, she has you wondering, and asking questions about everyone. The insaniacs, if that's even a word in this book who continue to threaten the lives of everyone, amaze me. I cannot wrap my head around how this storyline is unfolding, because as soon as you think you have things figured out, she surprises you. She makes you feel part of the story, like your there. Since her last book, I have dubbed her the queen of one liners. She has not disappointed her readers. Erik had so many memorable (and I mean memorable) one liners, or quotes, I got a notebook out. I was reading along, and then it happened, the end. The same exact feeling as last time. You will not believe it. The book is awesome!

Damn. Ronnie has been through the ringer and it isn't over yet. She has had enough of being a victim and is going to stand. Fortunately she has Erik by her side. And may I just say holy hotness. Erik is just flat out delish. Then there's her partner who is standing with her as well. Now I definitely want more of his story. I loved the passion and suspense in Ronnie and Erik's story. I especially loved that Ronnie is a total badass. I enjoyed their story and can't wait to read more from this author. She rocked this one HARD.

Still in shock of Dan’s attack and the confusion around his death, Ronnie and Erik flee the crime scene. What caused Dan to do what he did?
When they find out that they may be forced to testify against each other and Erik faces the possibility of deportation Erik floors Ronnie with “We have to get married.” Next stop Vegas.
“I’m looking forward to calling you my C-M-I-L-F.”
‘I’ll take you right to the edge, baby, but I won’t push you. You have to take that step.’
“This is one time baby’s going to like being in the corner.”
The bathroom scene is freakin hot, until Erik says something that sends Ronnie scrambling. Ronnie’s past is causing her to push Erik away and deny her true feelings for him.
Ronnie and the crew continue to try and track Kincaid and Jeff’s movements. Will they find them before anything else happens to Erik?
One more second. That’s all I’ll give him. That second passes and I’m left with no other choice.

Mystery, Hot Sex and so much more.The supporting characters really added a great element to the story. This is told in alternating POV with a heck of a cliff hanger. I can’t wait for the next book to see if they finally get their HEA. OMG WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME AGAIN CATRINA COURTENAY?! WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO YOU?! You just earned a one way ticket to the list of authors trying to KILL ME, and will be dubbed #evilwhore forevermore! Ronnie Harper has been badly betrayed by her best friend while his serial rapist brother is dogging her every step. She's putting her foot down, and is trying to take her life back among all the chaos. The one light in her life is that she has a man who truly cares for her. Ronnie and Erik are thrown into dangerous situation after situation. Feelings are growing stronger in the midst of it, although Ronnie's faith in herself has taken some serious hits. Between the man she can't push away, and the twisted man fixated on her, will their bond stand strong with everything on the line?
I though after a day or 2, my anger would subside a bit, but HELL NO, I'm still jacked up, and calling the author bad names. This story starts out with a bang, and I never got a chance to catch my breath, especially after that evil cliffhanger ending. The story line is action packed, full on suspense, and well written while flowing effortlessly. Character development is on point, with constant evolving changes. Catrina Courtenay's diabolical writing style is easy while keeping my heart racing cover to cover without a break. In between each crisis, humor abounds with the twists and turns swirling all around them. I spent my time living and breathing this story long after I finished (with more name calling), and the next part CANNOT come quickly enough as I may or may not stalk, and lurk around this author's social media until I get it into my hands. Bottom line, I absolutely HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY and yes, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Catrina has done it again with another book I could not put down!! And of course we don’t get the full story here either!!! Finally some questions from book 1 Revelations were answered but there were many that were not and new ones came up.
Catrina you had me on the edge of my seat through a portion of this book. A majority of the book I wanted to smack Ronnie upside the head. I know her life hasn’t been easy and she’s been through a lot and trusting people is not one of her strong suits but damn girl just give in to Erik already.
Eric that man wow… He would seriously do anything for Ronnie. She knows it but doesn’t really want to see it. Both these characters are stubborn as mules and of course it makes for an even more interesting read none the less and I flipping loved it.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around some of the storyline. I honestly feel like I’m missing key parts and I’m hoping and praying that Catrina gives that to us in book 3 because I need the answers I’m dying here not knowing. She gets you so wrapped up in this book you feel like you are right there with Ronnie and Erik I just ugh need more I need the answers.

Highly Recommend!
Exposed is the second in line of the Ultimate Betrayal Series by Catrina Courtenay.
After reading Revelations I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I needed answers. Well I got answers and now I have a lot more questions. As Ms. Courtenay showed in her debut novel she has a way of bringing laugh out loud humor, gasps of surprise, moments of wanting to yell, a tingle here and there, and the edge of your seat suspense. Did I mention quite steamy sexual tension? There is plenty of all that and much more.
Ronnie was betrayed by her best friend and partner. Finding out the magnatude of what he had done makes her question everything. She doubts the people around her, her own judgment and even her growing feelings for Erik her hot client. Erik is a strong sexy loving man. He helps her find a part of her she thought she lost forever and believed would never have again. Awakening her long dormant sexuality stunted by her history with a deranged rapist.
This is not for the faint of heart or if hot steamy sex scenes are not your cup of tea. There is quite a bit of hot sex along the way.
I recommend you read the first book, Revelations before reading Exposed.

OMG - That was the first thought I had when I reached the final page of this book. I don't normally read 1st person POV because it's just not for me, but I was asked to review Book 1 and loved it, so when the sequel came out, I had to get it. I am so glad I did! Ronnie and Erik are so freaking hot together, they were burning up my Kindle. I highly recommend if you're reading Chapter 20 all alone, get out a bottle of wine and an adult toy - you're going to need them for the sex in the backseat of the car scene. Holy Hot!
In addition to the hot chemistry between the two main characters, there is a lot of action and suspense going on. In one scene, I was enjoying Ronnie and Erik doing what they do best and BOOM! Shocker!!! That's all I'm saying because I don't want to give away any spoilers. You must read it for yourself.
This is book 2 in the series and to understand what's going on, you'll need to read book 1. Both books have cliff-hangers and I can't wait until Book 3 is listed because I will definitely be pre-ordering that baby!

My mind is reeling as this book concludes. It was a train wreck waiting to happen, only the lust, passion, & sex distracted me long enough to make me forget the dangers that loomed. A well choreographed story of suspense, mystery, heartache and crime that combines with the intense attraction between Erik Sinclair and Veronica (Ronnie) Harper. At times I felt as though I were experiencing whiplash as quickly as the emotions changed. But given their pasts, both Erik and Ronnie are fighting demons to try to find their own HEA. Ronnie seems to have lost some of her toughness as she tries to come to terms with her feelings. It's almost as though she may need to rediscover herself to truly find who she is, but I for one can't wait to find out not only the conclusion to Erik and Ronnie's story but also see what happens next from this cliffhanger of an ending!

Ronnie and Erik are combustible together!!!!!
This was the second book of this series and I was so excited to see what happens next. The second book is filled with intrigue, mystery and oh so hot sexy times. These two broken souls find a way to make everything look so easy by loving each other. Some try to get in between them but their willpower and love hold them together. I can't wait to read the next book, please don't make me wait too long.

This is book 2 of the Ultimate Betrayal series and I'm glad I read book 1 otherwise I would have been lost. Loved the alternating POV of this steamy, intense suspenseful story. Left in a cliffhanger so now I have to wait. Hurry bk3!
