Lines will be crossed, lies will be told, and fantasies will be fulfilled. Can forbidden love last or will it send them both to hell? A standalone novel showcasing a hot teacher and a spitfire student.
Ella Emerson lives in Florida with her husband and three wonderful children. When she isn't writing you can find her watching movies or playing games with her children. She loves to read, write and eat pizza. A true lover of the beach, she enjoys the sun, surf, sand and sea. She also is a huge fan of the cinema and enjoys crazy 80's chick flicks. She was raised a military brat, and has seen her fair share of the world. She loves using her own experiences and turning them into lovely romantic tales. In high school she discovered her love for reading, and even had one of her poems published in a national magazine. She continues to read, write, review and hopefully she can become an inspiration to her own children, as well as others.
I finally got my hands on this book, I just love forbidden love. Well daaah- who doesnt! I've loved student- teacher affairs ever since PLL where Aria fell for Ezra, and damn Ezra was such a good look for my eyes.
I was kinda disappointed (teeny tiny) about this book, dont get me wrong I finished it in less than 24 hours it kept me wanting to read and read till 3am but I just found it lacking some important details. I'd be reading a certain passage and than the next would be talking about another day! I'd think to myself "What the hell just happened her, umm am I missing pages..." But overall it was a good story.
Teacher: A Student/Teacher Romance is about an 18 year old falling for the school English substitute teacher Levi Wild. Of course as usual they met before class at a coffee shop and he invited her out thinking she was old enough, only shocked to see her sitting in his class. At first it was a bet Trish did with her friends for, but then after having hot sex and love making she couldnt, didnt want it to be involved in the bet anymore. Levi tried doing the wise thing and end this but his heart wouldnt allow him to do so, esp after seeing Trish flirt with other guys. After their first love making, Trish fell in love with him but Levi couldnt bare to see her anymore! He was just fooling around (well atleast thats what he though, but deep down he had serious feelings for her). So day passed, weeks, and Levi couldnt keep her out of his mind, esp with the senior trip to Paris (yes the place where love is magical *swooning*)! Will Levi be able to win Trish back? Will they be able to handle everything coming their way? I AINT TELLING you *smirk* I guess you'll just have to read this book to figure out the rest! But let me tell you this, you'll want to punch someone near the end of it :)
The writing style was so catchy, so interesting, easy to understand and imagine. The hot sexy scenes were to breathtaking, and damn if I didnt want to be in the place of Trish *blush* *cough* But, there will always be buts! I found that some scenes (maybe 2 or so) were taken from FSOG, or maybe being submissive will always remind me of that! I just felt that this book wasnt unique, but I still enjoyed it. Until... the ending! I hated it and thats what made my rating low! I dont understand how authors can write a fab story with dual POV and then end it like that!!!!! Trish and Levi kissing and holding each other in a book store... THE END ! Really come on I neeeeed more, I want to know what happens, I needed a better excuse for what Levi did to Trish!
Overall it was an okay story, with lots of sexy love making and chemistry!
Teacher/student is my absolute favorite genre and these girls did a great job bringing the taboo relationship of Trish and Levi to life.
"...I couldn't wait to see Trish again. Was it wrong, f--- yes, it was. Everything that happened from the moment I met her was, but I was starting to be alright with that." ~ Levi
New in a small town, Levi made a huge mistake asking the beautiful girl in the coffee line to dinner. Once he walks into the classroom as the new substitute that same morning, he sees her sitting in the back row. Now Levi has to instantly turn off the lust he feels for the young girl, but finds it pretty hard to do.
Trish is so close to graduating she can taste it. Just a few months to go and she is out of that small town and off to New York to study fashion. That's her plan anyway, however her father wants her to go straight to medical school like he did. She needs to get his attention, do something drastic to make him change his mind and the sexy new teacher fits the bill perfectly.
Levi and Trish were attracted to each other right off the bat, so you know classroom time is going to be awkward. And boy was it ever. Levi is trying to teach, while also trying to see what is going on with Trish and the guy next to her. He doesn't want to be "that guy" after just meeting Trish, but he can't help it.
"I wanted to be with her, protect her, make her mine." ~ Levi
What turned out as a way to get her dad to notice, ends up much more for Trish. The more time she gets with Levi, the harder she starts to fall for him and the more he pulls away. I loved the angst from Levi and the constant worry of them getting caught. He wanted her so bad, yet couldn't be the man he really wanted to be for her. More than not, Trish's immaturity would show and I thought for sure it would make Levi head for the hills.
The book is well written from dual points of view. Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson took the student/teacher format and added their own twist to it, which I think worked nicely. They also made Trish eighteen, as to not turn off readers that don't like the underage student. Trish's friend Kerrie's book is up next and hopefully we get to visit Levi and Trish as well.
Holy hell I love a good story but this is a great story about a teacher and his student.
Trish has it all and is in her senior year. All she wants to do is finish high school and go to New York to college for Fashion Design. She knows her father is against it but she is ready to push every button she can to make her father change his mind. That is when she meets a guy in the coffee shop and goes to dinner with him. They have fun and enjoy each others company.
Levi Wild has graduated from college and has his teaching license. He moves to a new town to start a new life and when he gets there he gets distracted by a beautiful women he sees. He decides he is going to make his move and ask her out. When she says yes he can't believe his luck. As they enjoy their time together Levi starts to have strong feelings for her.
The next day Levi is ready to start his teaching job when he walks into the class and sees his date from the night before. Holy hell he freaks out because she is a student not a women. Even though he knows it is wrong he can't help himself he has feelings for her.
Will this relationship work between teacher and student or will it blow up in their face.......

4 Stars !!
Call me crazy, but I love a good student/teacher love story. I know what you’re thinking….how can she like those type books since they are such a taboo subject. But honestly if this type of story is written correctly it can be a wonderful story.
I was completely drawn into this story because of the blurb of the book. This is my first book by either author and I am happy to say that I really enjoyed this book. Even though the story was slightly predictable, it still had elements that I wasn’t expecting. I thought the storyline was interesting and creative. It kept me engaged until the end. I thought the flow worked well and if the authors hadn’t told us who wrote which part, I never would’ve known, because the chapters and writing was seamless. The only real negative I have about this story was the pace of the story. I thought is was good, but there were times I felt it was rushed and things were glossed over. I also thought the ending was a bit abrupt, I would’ve liked an epilogue to really kind of wrap up Trish and Levi’s story. With that said I still enjoyed this read and would recommend it to anyone who loves a taboo story.
In Teacher we meet Levi and Trish. Levi is a 24 year old male, who just took over a teaching job in a small town in Georgia. Trish is an 18 year old Senior at said High School. On the Levi’s first day of school, he stops for a cup of coffee and meets Trish. Without knowing he is her teacher and her his student they strike up a conversation and make plans for a dinner date. So color them surprised when the bell rings and they see each other in the same classroom. What happens next is a game of cat and mouse and push and pull. Trish never really fighting her feelings but Levi knowing it was all wrong and tried to stop things before they started. Will things work out for these two characters?? Will they get their HEA?? You will need to read this story to find out. Just know, not everything is as it seems ;)
Teacher is a standalone novel with NO Cliffhanger. I would recommend this book to a fan of teacher/student books or if you love a good taboo story like I do. This was well done and I look forward to reading other books by these authors.
Always taboo when talking about teacher and student romance since it seen as the adult taking advantage of the student but as she is 18 years old that it not the case here.
Trish is a student who meets a hot good looking man at her local cafe, he asks her dinner and she gladly accepts. Forward to her school and the substitute teacher is the hot good looking man, Levi Wild.
There's sexual chemistry between the two she's in lust and he's trying to keep his distance. Even though he knows it's wrong he feels a pull towards her he's the one that doesn't stay away.
They are not carefully and they fool around in public, so you know they are going to eventually get caught.
I liked this story it was very romantic. He knew what he wanted and it's funny to see a 18 year old girl bring a grown man to his knees.
Everything was there for me except the ending. . . . I was so disappointed in the ending, like what the hell.
They both got their dream which I loved but what happened to them? Did they end up together?
It just ended with them hugging, like seriously I invested in this story and to have it fall flat in the end was very disappointing.

4.5 Sexy Ass Stars! Teacher by Ella Emerson & Heather Dahlgren is freaking awesome! I REALLY loved it. Just wait till you meet Mr. Levi Wild...PHEW! Where was this sex on a stick man when I went to high school?? He would have given me a reason to get up everyday. Levi isn't your typical creepy old teacher. Ohhhh no, he is every girls fantasy. DAMN. Ella & Heather brought the sexiness in this book. Talk about the teacher teaching the student!? I might have learned a few things myself!
When Levi meets Trish outside of school, he had no idea she's one of his students. They have an Immediate attraction and plan on getting together. So, imagine the shock when they come face to face in the classroom! Let the games begin.... Poor Levi does everything in his power to stay away from flirty Trish, but it's a losing battle. Their magnetic chemistry keeps them coming back for more. I loved their back and forth teasing and frustrating sexual tension. Trust me, Mr. Wild will leave you hot and bothered....
I love a great forbidden romance and this one is written so well. It's fun, flirty, sexy and did I mention HOT! Besides the heat and fun, it has a great story line with a twist or two. There is also self discovery and maturity along the way. The characters were just as good as the storyline. I adored Trish and her girlfriends. They brought a huge smile to my face, especially Mr. Levi Wild... If you're into fun, laughing and over heating you need to read it!
Ella & Heather are working on a follow up book called, Professor in which Trish & Levi are sure to make an appearance. I can not wait. These ladies need to keep writing together. Perfect combination. GREAT JOB!
What happens when two talented romance authors come together and write a novel? SEXY happens! Trish is your normal spit-fire high school girl ready to leave out for college to become a fashionista. One coffee shop asshole leads her to meet the sexiest guy she's ever met.... turns out it's her new English teacher. If you love a sexy taboo story of forbidden love, this is a must read, and melts your panties clean off, especially towards the end. THE TWIST it was so good, didn't see it coming... not one bit! Reading this book and the flow of it, you wouldn't think about the two different authors... you focus on being inside the mind of two people Levi and Tess. Heather and Ella nailed this, excellent read and everyone should read it. I can't wait to read Kerrie's story!!
Saya selalu suka sama tema cerita tabu, tapi untuk yang satu ini terasa datar. Bacaan aman buat hati, lumayan gerah buat... (you name it).
I was sold at student/teacher. I honestly don’t know why I love these books. Maybe it’s the forbidden student/teacher relationship, but I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. This is my first book by both authors and I enjoyed it. I wish I had teachers like Levi was I was in school… sigh.
Trish meets Levi in a coffee shop. They are both attracted to each other from the get go. Levi asks Trish out on date and she is so excited. Trish is still floating on cloud nine when she arrives at school, until Mr. Wild walks into class… aka Levi. Even though Levi is her teacher, Trish isn’t going to back down, but how far will Mr. Wild let things go?
Levi just moved to town to start a new teaching job. Things are looking even better when he meets Trish and she accepts his offer to go on a date. But the minute he spots Trish in class he knows he’s in trouble. Sometimes not everything is as it appears. How far will Levi let things go and what will happen if he gives himself to Trish completely?
There were a few of things in this book that really shocked me. There were some surprises and things I didn’t see coming. I love the chemistry between Trish and Levi. Both irritated me at times, but I also loved them too. I honestly wish the ending would have been just a bit longer with more detail, but overall it was very good. I can’t wait to see what these two bring next and I am crossing my fingers for more Trish and Levi.
I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this book. But, I am so happy that I read it! It is so much more than what I expected. Yes, it does have hot sex, but I feel in love with the connection, the pull, the undeniable attraction between the characters. Levi and Trish were meant to be and they were destined to meet at the coffee shop that faithful morning. They are the perfect example of a love that is meant to be; that was written in the stars.
This book has a story, one that you absolutely must read and follow to the end. It is a quick read and one that you will not want to put down. The way these two authors come together and build the story with so much care, patience and imagination speaks volumes of their abilities as storytellers. This book tells as story and who doesn't love a good story. Seriously, all the sex is there but even a clean version would suck you in, that is how good these two authors can write and develop a story.
Levi and Trish meet in a very unconventional way and the relationship builds. The heart wants what the heart wants, good luck fighting your heart. Watching the walls crumble and letting emotion takeover was magical, these two did not stand a chance. The story plays out over a series of months and yes, the sex gets hotter, the emotions deeper but brace yourself for the ending.
Truly in love with Levi, I would totally read a book by both of ladies again!
This is a Taboo Teacher/Student book and I had such high expectations for this steamy read. Trish is a high school senior who meets a very sexy guy at a coffee shop. They instantly connect and make dinner plans.
Levi is a younger man who has his first teaching job at the high school. Levi walks into his classroom and sees the girl he just asked out sitting at a desk. Talk about a shock to his system. Levi is instantly worried and makes a conscious effort to stay away from Trish.
Needless to say, this doesn't work and what follows is a steamy relationship with many ups and downs.
I have to be honest and say that I had a hard time connecting with Levi and some of the story line was immature at times. Because of this, there were many times my interest level waned.
3.50 - 4 smutastic stars Title: Teacher Authors: by Ella Emerson & Heather Dahlgren Release Date: March 22, 2016 No cliffhanger
Dayummmm….Teacher will melt your e-reader. This student/teacher forbidden sex fest was a little predictable — Go to school, screw English teacher, repeat. One of the themes I enjoy reading about is the teacher/student romances, which forbidden love, which comes to think about it is probably why in Pretty Little Liars, I was all about the Ezria relationship. In Teacher, compared to a lot of other teacher/student books I have read this was more tamer in the storyline. It starts off in a coffee shop where Trish is running late to school and has a collision with her coffee, and a hot guy is standing behind her in line. The hot guy turns out to be Mr. Wild aka Levi, her new English teacher. You can guess where this is going to go as though Levi tries to put boundaries in, Trish wants what she can't have, and in this case, it's Levi. Trish wants to head to fashion school, but what will happen when her romance gets out of control with Levi and rumors and whispers start to happen? A teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson was a slower read than I am used to and is more about the "I should stay away from you, but I can't" storyline rather than the hot passionate romance between a teacher and a student. What will happen though when Trish discovers Levi's other identity? I did like the twist that they put on the ending and reminded me of a bit of what Drew Barrymore's character went through with her teacher in Music and Lyrics. If you are on the look for a teacher/student romance, then check out Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson today.
I’ve been wanting to read this book since it released, but needed to be in the mood for this type of book. Also, Ella & Heather are new to me authors. I was really excited to start this one but some things fell short for me. I loved the characters & their chemistry was quite strong but some parts needed to have more detail added or a longer storyline in some areas so parts didn’t seem rushed. I think the way Ella & Heather wrote this book was quite cool & interesting. I’m always curious how novels are written when more than one person is writing the same book. I wanted to keep reading to see what happened to Levi & Trish & I’m glad I did, because the book took a huge turn towards the end that I did NOT see coming. From then on, I couldn’t stop reading. That was a very interesting twist. When I got to the end, although I was happy, I really wanted more. An epilogue may have made me feel satisfied. More of Levi & Trish’s story would make it feel like it ended to me. Maybe a novella to see what’s happened. All in all it was a good book & I’d recommend it if you like teacher/student novels.
this book had so much potential!!! which was why I was so disappointed when it turned to shit.
I was giving it 5 stars until Trish apparently forgot the previous few chapters because she magically forgave him, like there was a chunk of story missing. wtf? the conflict was completely forgotten! it had potential!
then my rating just went down and down as the story lost any resemblance of plot.
But most disappointing was the ending. that bombshell was pathetic and was then used as an excuse to not actually write down the part where he explains. were just supposed to take her word for it that he wrote a really nice explanation for being an a**hole??? nuh uh.
I loved the beginning until the writers got lazy:(
I had high hopes, based off of the cover. And even though the blurb didn't sound like anything special and the heroine's name annoyed the shit out of me (Trish Tess?? Come on. Almost as bad as having the hero's last name be Wild), I was still intrigued.
I couldn't even make it half way through the book. What I did read was full of choppy, awkward writing, bad grammar, insta love and two very irritating main characters. It was also filled with every cliche troupe out there, which I wouldn't have minded if the writing wasn't so cringey. This is literally the first teacher/student book I've been unable to finish, and I've read a lot.
Having been a student for so much of my life, I find student/teacher romances to a be a guilty pleasure for me. I found this little treasure and greatly enjoyed it. The main characters, Trish and Levi, were well developed and the story was easy to follow. The authors could have used some assistance with editing as the many grammatical and punctuations errors kept me from giving it a five star review.
