Hercules is back in the game, and the world is starting to remember why he set the standard for heroes right down through the ages. But has he left his reinvention too late? He's clean, he's sober, he's determined...but the world is fighting back. It's a darker place than even he imagined, and an all-powerful force is rising that could wipe out his kind and all the ancient ways of myth forever.
Still going strong and developing nicely. Good contrast between Gilgamesh and Hercules and how they are dealing with their increasing irrelevance to the modern age.
I loved the detail, both in the art and the dialogue! They used different fonts for different characters, as if to signify their accents, which I thought was really creative.
Hercules was a lot more mature in this volume compared to the other ones, which I greatly appreciated.
I loved the way the scenes were set, how the background characters stood out, and how their was comedy but it didn't overshadow anything.
