Saints Protection & Investigation A private investigation business, pulling together men from the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, Border Patrol, SEALs, and police, devoted to the missions that no one else wanted or could solve. Jude Stedson was a SEAL…at least until an injury while on a mission left him with an honorable medical discharge and no direction as to what to do next. He even relegated his girlfriend to friend status until he could decide what he wanted to do with a life that had been dedicated to the SEALS. Sabrina Taggart loved the man…not the title. But until she could prove that their love would continue, she took the role of friend…just to stay close. When a con artist set his sights on her family, Jude stepped in, willing to work with her cousin, a member of the Saints P&I. Keeping Sabrina safe gave him a new mission. Finding a new mission gave him purpose. When her life was threatened, Jude knew that nothing would stop him from saving her…or loving her. Can he prove that he has what it takes to be a Saint?
As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
So, Jude and Sabrina meet at a party, and I assume start a relationship. We don't get to see any of that as we are fast forwarded 6 months. Jude is hurt in a hospital and decides Sabrina deserves a "whole" man (cue overused plot device music) so he starts pushing her away. He even goes so far as to set it up so she sees him leaving a bar with OW (he doesn't do anything) because she JUST WON'T LEAVE HIM ALONE. When even that doesn't work he friend zones her for a WHOLE FRIGGING YEAR. Poor Sabrina just pines away for him because she loves him (again, I assume she pines because yet AGAIN we are flashed forward and we don't see any of the events I mentioned above.) Then one day, out of the blue, he decides he is enough man for her and tells her he loves her. She of course drops her poor pathetic doormat panties and says "yay, gimme that dick"
Let's not take I dunno, 10 minutes maybe to tell him how hurtful he has been, or I have an idea...keep your panties on and make HIM work for it a little bit...sigh. The rest of the book is basically about a bad guy trying to con them. Since you never actually get to see Jude and Sabrina's romance, I never felt a connection between them at all. In fact, this book is very light on romance period. We basically miss their whole story and are just told bits and pieces after the fact.

*May contain spoilers *
Jude wanted Sabrina then life, as he knew it went wrong. Sabrina still stands by her man although life is making that real rough. When her cousin Bart comes to town and things are going bad for their family business Jude starts to feel alive again but will it be enough? Can Jude finally have a life out from behind the desk he never wanted to be behind?
I have enjoyed this series to date and Jude's book just reminds me why I enjoy it show much. These alpha men are broken but able to be mended and although fierce, they are true and loyal to those they love.
Can Sabrina get the man back she has come to love? Can Jude get through his issues before it is too late?
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. Maryann Jordan
I have long been Convinced that Maryann Jordan can do no wrong.... She proved right with this Awsome book... even this Novella she still managed to give us everything we have come to love about her Stories. Angst, suspense, Swoon worthy moments, moments that are so hot and moments where your heart just broke for the two H and h.... Jude and Sabrina really shows us that love over comes all. And how with Patience you get everything that you deserve.... Their story is sweet and amazing... I loved every moment and wished there was more... a Beautiful HEA....I can't wait to see where this goes.....
I like the plot of the story but it was too short, I wish we got more suspense but for a short story it was developed good. I was happy that Jude finally got his head out his ass and finally changed Sabrina's status from friend to be mine. I get Jude was injured but he kept mopping around the first couple pages, until he finally met Jack and learned about his job. After that the book got more interesting and Jude and Sabrina got their HEA.
SO disappointed right now. I really liked the first two, but this one sucked.
This one focused on Jude and Sabrina, two awful characters. After Jude gets hurt in the SEALs, he thinks Sabrina is too good for him. So he dumps her and then proceeds to stomp on her heart. Knowing she loves him, she remains his friend for a year until he gets his act together.
PUH-LEASE!
He was a total douche and I didn't find anything redeemable about him. The whole 'I know what's best for you' schtick wasn't cute at all and he acting like an asshole to someone you KNOW loves you is a dick move. And her?! Talk about a mouse. Lets him just walk all over her, pines like a total loser, and refuses to stand up for herself.
GROW A BACKBONE, LADY!
The first two women were kick ass so Sabrina was a total letdown.
Furthermore, the backstory wasn't as cool as the first two. The first two had serious danger while this one felt like child's play. Meh. I'm hoping Bart (despite his name) proves to be a better hero than this dick.
At a backyard party with his teammates and their families, SEAL Jude Stedson was certain he’d met the woman of his dreams in Sabrina Taggart but she seemed to be with a guy rumored to go through women like tissues. The guy was Sabrina’s cousin, SBart, and she was just as interested in Jude. When Jude’s mission breaks too many of his bones, Sabrina stays close, through rehab and the news that Jude can’t return to his team.
Bitter and angry his circumstances have changed, Jude downgrades Sabrina to the friend zone. As a last resort, Sabrina puts Jude and Bart in touch since they had similar events in their lives and Jude’s intrigued but can’t let go of his old life. Meanwhile, Sabrina’s wealthy grandmother becomes the target of a group determined to separate her from her riches. (Since the outing isn’t quite old enough to feel new again, it just feels tired and predictable.) Rating: 3stars
Love this series. We have Jude Stedson .. Mr. Navy Seal … YES! Jude’s story is a tough one. Wounded on a mission leaves him heading towards an honorable discharge but leaving everything he has ever wanted and known. His future is unclear as he knows nothing of what he wants to be or where is life is going to move from leaving his dreams to a dark future. Pushing everyone aside he feels that he cant be on the receiving end of anything good. A broken man doesn’t deserve happiness and a broken man certainly cannot provide for a beautiful woman like Sabrina.
Sabrina Taggart vowed she would not give up on Jude. It devastated her to be put in the “friend zone” by the man she loved. What he wore on his uniform was not why she was devoted to him. What he was in the inside and the man she saw inside him was what made her fall deeply in love. When a seedy stranger threatens Sabrina’s family, Jude leaps into to protect the woman he has put at arms length. Willing to work along side the Saints men Jude starts to find his worth. Sabrina’s cousin Bart sees a great man in Jude. Maybe he can help him see that as well and maybe it wont be too late for Jude to see Sabrina’s devotion and love.
This was a great story but they are always TOO SHORT .. LOL .. because Im greedy. I want more all the time. Jude was frustrating at times but I also understood his pain and his loss. Sabrina was the Saint. Oh my word. What a strong character and we all know I love those types of female leads. The story has a great mix of suspense and turmoil.
I cant wait to get the next release from the Saints men! Thank you Maryann for the ARC! Another fantastic read!
Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.
When I stumbled across this author's Love series, she completely captivated me and since then, I just keep coming back. Her alpha males fight hard and love even harder. And one thing you can expect is when they fall, it is so hard that they will do anything they can for the women they love. And her heroines are always kick ass and you will always find yourself rooting for them. This brand spanking new series by her is definitely one you don't want to miss. Be prepared to swoon, hard.
I loved this book. It was a fast read that I devoured in one sitting. From the first page, I was sucked in and couldn't put it down until the end, knowing they got their happy ending. This book was sexy, sweet, fun, intense, passionate, and had a sweet love story wrapped with suspense and tons of twists. This was a great addition to this series and I can't wait for the next book. It's sure to be epic. Get ready for Jude and Sabrina... because Jude is a man that will make you swoon and fall hard.
This is Sabrina and Jude's story. Jude and Sabrina are friends... well Jude has friend zoned Sabrina even though she is desperately in love with him. But one incident throws their lives in a tailspin and now Jude knows he needs to claim his girl. They are going to hit bumps along the way. Twists. Turns. Suspense. Oh yes, these two have a little road ahead of them. Can Jude realize he is worthy of Sabrina's love? Will these two be able to allow their love to flourish and find their happy ending?
Revealing Love is Maryann Jordan third book in Saint Protection & Investigations Series. It's a novella a Kindle world book so it's going to be short.
Jude Stetson a tall, muscular, Navy SeaL who's leg was badly injured on a mission. He is honorable discharge from the Navy and for once in his life his future is unclear to him. He fills like a broken man and a broken man can't provide for his woman. So he pushes Sabrina, his girlfriend, away from him until he can get back to the way he used to be.
Sabrina Taggart a Interior Designer with blue eyes, long auburn hair who stands by Jude no matter what, even if she's just being his friend. Sabrina wasn't giving up on her dreams with him, he was everything she ever wanted.|
When her Nonna found herself needing help because of slick, sly con artist posing as a medium. Jude steps in to keep Sabrina & her family safe by working with Bart, her cousin, a member of the Saints Protection & Investigations.
Will working with Saints Protection & Investigations give Jude purpose again? Can he prove himself worthy of being a Saint? Will Jude give Sabrina her dreams by admitting his love for her?
Read this wonderful story filled with suspense, chemistry, mystery and love. You won't be disappointed that you read a Maryann Jordan book.
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. Review by Melissa K for HEA Fanatics.
All Jude wanted to be was a Navy Seal, it was what he was good at; but when injured during a mission his world as he knew it changed forever. jude can't deal with the fact that he can no longer be in the field with his fellow Seals and has been only medically cleared to desk duty. A man like Jude is not a sit behind the desk kind of guy and can't take the way his life is panning out. He feels like he is no longer worthy of anything especially not his girlfriend Sabrina, that is until he meets the men of Saints Protection and he finds another way to get back to the kind of life he left behind. When he starts to overcome his negative feelings about his manhood and starts to feel like his old self again he goes after Sabrina, the girl he friend zoned. With a new confidence he wins back the love of his life. But just when you think that things are going great Sabrina finds herself in danger and Jude and his new friends at Saints Protection will do everything they can to keep her safe. I really enjoyed this book and found it very suspenseful and felt that the way Maryann portrayed the way Jude was trying to overcome his PTSD's and how he wanted to feel useful again was very touching. Can't wait for the next book in the series!
It was a good story with good characters, but I didn't feel a connection to the hero/heroine, and I didn't feel the connection between the two of them. This ISN'T an author problem, because I LOVE Maryann's books. It's the hazard of the novella. When an author is strictly limited on word count it's hard to fully flesh out characters and scenes, especially when one writes as detailed stories as Maryann does. My favorite part of any romance is the build-up and tension between that "first look" and the "first time," but that requires time and space, which one doesn't have in this shortened format. There was also a large cast of characters and sometimes I was confused and unsure who was who.
It's very difficult to have characters meet, fall in love, and work through the plot in 80 or so pages. Maryann sure packed a lot into a novella, however, and I applaud her! It's a short read, and very well worth the time. I simply prefer her full-length novels, which have "more meat on the bone" so to speak, but you will not be disappointed when you spend time with Jude and Sabrina.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, betrayal, sadness, pain, kidnapping, and heartbreak.
Before reading this story please read the below books first Serial Love (Saints Protection & Investigation #1) Healing Love: Saints Protection & Investigation
This is Sabrina and Jude’s story. Sabrina and Jude are in love but after he gets injured he does not want her to settle for him. When she wants to be friends as to not lose him he agrees. But when Sabrina might be in danger he has to decide if he is going to just protect her or if he is going to also claim her as his own. He has big choices for his future will he be able to make them before he loses her for good? Lots of suspense and passion in this story. Will these two have a future or will one con-artist try and make sure that does not happen?
I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
Another great read in this amazing series. This story is about Jude and Sabrina. When they first meet there is an instant attraction, but when he is injured on a SEAL mission he doesn't feel worthy of having her in his life. Jude wants to see whats going to happen to him and his career before he can tell Sabrina he really loves her, but when a con man threatens her grandmother he reveals his true feelings. These stories get better and better with every read!! Jude may have thought he was a lost cause, but with true love anything is possible. I can't wait to read the next saint to find love.
**An authors copy was provided for an honest review. **
I am very impressed with "Revealing Love." The characters are well-developed and realistic and the scam theme is a cause dear to my heart. It pleases me to see the issue receive more exposure! The story encompasses physical and emotional healing for our soldier wounded in action, while reassessing his relationship with Sabrina. Do you want to know what happens? Can they protect the elderly being preyed upon? Mafia? Did you say Mafia? This is a 'must read' book. Do not miss it!
I've read and enjoyed some of Ms.Jordan's other series. I admire her style!
I love how this series is evolving! I loved it... This book you meet Jude and Sabrina.. Jude is a SEAL who isn't sure how to be anything else after his injury. Sabrina will not let him push her away. If he can only offer friendship then she'll take it. He and Sabrina have such a sweet love story. It's about second chances and over coming the odds. This book had just the right combo of heat and heart.
another amazing story. I loved Jude and Sabrina's story. Maryann is an amazing author who can pull you right into the story so you really think you are right there. the suspense, romance and wow didn't see that coming makes her stories an excellent read. I can't wait for Bart's story.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is a novella in the Saints Protection and Investigations series and ends in an HEA. Bart’s cousin, Sabrina, falls for Navy SEAL Jude. The novella goes in to a suspenseful story putting Sabrina in danger. Of course Bart saves her and her grandmother. The plot of the story is unique and moves along quickly. The romance of the story is almost non-existent. The story show the scene where Jude and Sabrina meet, but totally skips over how their romance builds.
>Jude is hurt and pushes Sabrina away. He is really cruel. Sabrina sticks with Jude, but to the reader she seems foolish to put up with the abuse. There is no romantic support in their relationship. There is no insight in to Jude’s thought process. He seemed to be able to distance himself from Sabrina without any issues. If the reader was more invested in their romantic relationship, the pushing that Jude was doing, along with how loyal Sabrina seemed, would have been so much more poignant.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this novella 3 stars. Too much is missing to really relate to the story.
Few authors are able to give the reader an engaging plot with complex characters when they write novellas. Ms. Jordan shows us she is one of those elite authors. The story is part of a series, but rest assure, it’s a stand alone. Our main characters are Jude Stedson and Sabroma Taggart. Jude, whose identity was being a SEAL, has his life turned upside down when he’s injured and he faces a world without his SEAL team. He cuts himself off his friends and girlfriend, who he now has moved to “friends” only status. As the story progresses, Jude gets a chance to find a job that he might enjoy and maybe a life with Sabrina. But danger comes upon them. All in all, an entertaining story. That said, it’s also a reminder that when our troops return to civilian life, or from injuries due to their service, the return tends to be a difficult one. Loved ones and us as a society, need to give them options where they can find a new calling and happiness in it. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Jude Stedson met Sabrina Taggart when her cousin Bart brought her to a SEAL party. Bart works for Saints Protections and Investigations.
Jude and Sabrina were instantly attracted to each other and they saw each other all the time when Jude was home from active duty. Jude got hurt and pushed her away into the friend zone. She was just happy to have him in her life.
When Sabrina and Bart's family become targets for a con artist. Jude steps up to help and in so doing pulls his head out of the clouds and owns his feelings for Sabrina. Jude will need the help of Bart and the rest of the Saints as well as two of his former SEAL buddies who have their own agency to help save Sabrina.
His life is about to change for the better and he is about to find out that he isn't a lost cause after he is medically discharged.
4 stars I purchased a copy of the the novel Revealing Love (Saints Protection & Investigations Book 3) by Maryann Jordan and this review was given freely. Less intense with less graphically depicted violence and with a different slant than the prior two novels. An attraction at first sight steamy romance and a testament of faith and love involving a Saints Protection Investigators' family member but a mission that still involves one of the investigators, Bart. Navy SEAL Jude meets Bart's cousin the interior designer Sabrina at a navy Seals reunion but a career ending injury has Jude doubting their relationship, hating his desk job and contemplating the prayers of the Chaplain regarding his connection to Saint Jude, Jude finds a new purpose in life while assisting his retired SEAL friends and Jack Bryant's team in saving Sabrina and her grandmother from a conman and the mafia.
Jude and Sabrina grabbed my heart right from the beginning! They were both such likeable characters and their romance was so sweet and sexy. The storyline was interesting, engrossing and proceeded at a fast clip that kept me turning the pages quickly to see what was going to happen next. The ending was really good and I liked the clever way it happened. I really liked as usual how much input and help the Saints team and Jared's team gave Jude. I think one of the many things that bring me back over and over to Maryann Jordan's books is how well she writes all the other characters besides the main ones in each story! I like their closeness, support and deep loyalty for each other. For me that makes each book even more enjoyable and I look foward to their inclusion in each book. I highly recommend this book and and the whole series.😁
WOW! I guess I should of read this book first before Bart's book. Anyway this story is of Jude and Sabrina. They first met at a party and were infatuated with each other but then Jude was injured and he tried to push Sabrina away but she was stubborn and stuck by his side until he was able to come to terms with himself. Before the scam happened, they finally got back together. Jude was feeling good about the investigation in catching the scam artist but felt fear when Sabrina was kidnapped. Once the bad guy was neutralized, they got engaged and moved to the area where Jude's new job with the Saints agency is located to start their new lives together. I am happy these two found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Maryann. I would recommend this book.
Great novella addition to the series! First off, if you're expecting a novel like Jack (book 1) and Cam (book 2) this isn't it, BUT it is definitely worth the read and we can meet the new addition to Saints! Yes, it is shorter but it doesn't mean it is less in anyway. You get a complete story and another compelling couple to love. What I liked most was actually the side characters (Jon, Rick and Zane) from GAPS (Guardian Angel Protection Services) who joined the gang to help out in this story. I am hoping these guys get their own series next! This book was a great way to lead into the next book of Saints (Book 3 Bart's story?) and also add (hopefully) a new series next about GAPS. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.
I had mixed feelings about this book. I realize the ending connects Jude to the Saints but was expecting a story on one of the other Saints.
Jude was tied to Seal buddies working at other Security firms, but it was Sabrina who had the Saint’s connection. Sabrina definitely did not give up on Jude. Thank God. They belong together. Again another tough women.
Why is it in trying to protect the one they love, these guys think they know better than the women themselves that they are not good enough for the women they love because if their jobs. They have to have faith and let the women make the choice to take that chance.
Another awesome book about a guy who can't be a SEAL any more and the girl who is always there even though he keeps pushing her away
Sabrina has been in love with Jude for a long time but when he is hurt on his last mission and not sure if he will be able to return to the team, he pushes her away but she continues to be there for him even if he has now put her in the friend zone. Sabrina is worried about her Nonnie being taken advantage of by a fake psychic. Will Jude pull his head out of his ass before something happens to her? Will her cousin, Bart, and the Saints be able to help her?
Revealing Love (Saints Protection and Investigation Series, Book 3) Maryann Jordan
Jude and Sabrina met st a party and immediately were drawn to each other. After a Seals mission went wrong for Jude and he was medically discharged from the Navy, all Jude wanted to be was friends. Sabrina agreed, but kept hoping for more. Sabrina’s Grandmother is taken in by a con artist. Sabrina and Jude join forces to protect her. Can this bring them together again? Another story with strong determined characters working together to right a wrong with hope it will lead to a HEA.

Seal, Jude knew he wanted Sabrina as soon as he laid eyes on her at a party with his fellow Seals. The only problem was that she had walked in with another former Seal, Bart Taggart. He soon finds out that Bart is her cousin and he immediately stakes his clajm. Six months later he is dealing with a career ending injury to his leg and is trying to drive Sabrina away, only she refuses to give up on him. This is a story of lose, love and finding redemption. I truly enjoyed this book.
