Please Note: The books "Only Human" and "Angel of Iron" are no longer available.
This book is a continuation of Only Human, but hundreds of years in the future. For me, the first quarter of the book was kinda slow. Yes you had new era to learn about. Yes you had new characters to get to know. And yes you had to come up to speed with this time in the book and how things are. I felt it could of used a little excitement here and there. But otherwise once you moved on, the book picked up speed and got exciting. So many changes, yet still a few well known. They evolved in more ways then one. More prepared to fight, for they have the first war to refer back too. I kinda felt they stepped back in time instead of forward. With the weapons they used, the swords, it just reminded me of medieval times. But they sure could fight with those swords, like nobodies business. The storyline was good and the epilogue has you trying to figure out the next book, even before you start reading it. These new characters was awesome! Each individual so different from the rest. The story of each character was interesting. The surprise in the Wetland, I didn’t see coming at all. This book seemed more fantasy then the first, which was more real like. Either way, it ended up being a good book. I’m looking forward to reading the next book.
