Andrew conversa con el holograma de Jonathan sobre cosas random y sobre cómo Andrew no ha podido crear un cuerpo vivo para su amigo, cuando aparece en su casa el mismísimo Escultor, haciéndole una propuesta. Darle un cuerpo real a Jonathan si Andrew le trae la guadaña de Buffy. El Escultor le entrega una guadaña falsa para que lo coloque en lugar de la verdadera guadaña. Jonathan presiona a Andrew para que lo haga, manipulándolo con el hecho de que "él lo asesinó".

Dawn intenta llevar una vida normal en la universidad, estudiando psicología y haciendo tareas con sus nuevos compañeros.

MIentras tanto, Buffy tiene un encontronazo con Willow, diferencia de opiniones respecto a las propuestas que hace la compañera militar de Willow, Lake Stevens. Además, deciden junto al consejo de magia que usarán el libro Vampyr para otorgarle nuevos poderes a D'Hoffryn, Keiko, Monarca, Silencioso, Brahma y Matango, los cuales son temporales, pertenecientes al cargo y no al individuo. Eso hace que Buffy y Spike puedan relajarse y tomar un descanso de una noche. Al día siguiente, Buffy se va a entrenar un rato, y Andrew aprovecha el momento para intentar robar la guadaña, pero se arrepiente. Se lleva consigo a toda la Scooby Gang para enfrentar al Escultor, y Buffy logra derrotarlo. Jonathan le recrimina a Andrew el hecho de que no podrá conservar su cuerpo real debido a la traición que le hizo al Escultor, lo bofetea y sale corriendo.

Buffy felicita a Andrew por haber hecho lo correcto.

Really liked that they didn't back down and make Andrew revert to doing stupid things for not really stupid reasons. I also like that they worked with the mystical council to get some powers sorted. Still pissed that they have left the Zander storyline hanging, and seriously, get him back with Dawn. Oh, and Spike and Buffy, nice foreshadowing their relationship implosion. Also, Giles in Fairy Land seemed lame and unrealistic. Thankfully no military really in this volume.

It's got that mid-arc feel to it where it's solid, but not great. However, yay Andrew. It's nice to see the writing being consistent and following through with character developments. :)
