This is an outstannding collection of speeches and writings related to the American Experiment. Any citizen can and should refresh one's knowledge of the sources of our founding American values, our Constitution, and the development of the American character. I did not always agree with everything that each author said but taken collectively this volume does represent "celebrated declarations of American liberty" across time.
