SHIVER, a novella from New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Deborah Bladon. This is for readers who enjoyed the VAIN and RUIN series. Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.

She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.

** 1,5-2 STARS **

“I have it. I kept it, Ronnie.”

“You don’t have it still. That was more than 50 years ago.

“My bag, Noah. Can you get it for me?”

(….Meanwhile Noah is thinking: I’ve stepped into some dream. There is NO F*CKING WAY this is real.)

description

I agree, Noah. There really is no f*cking way THAT would ever happen in real life.

Funny.

OVERALL: Nope. 1 extra star given for my baby Noah Foster's sake.

Simply put ..Deborah gave us her fans a gift. This book is an insight of Noah Foster's life after fame, with a wife and kids and his renewed relationship with his twin brother. As he tries to reestablish himself careers wise with a new purpose and new friendship past collides, old relationships are rekindled and we see his overall growth and maturity of one of the most unforgettable characters I have ever met.

Lovely story

It was so great to back and revisit characters from a previous story and see where their lives are now. It is so well written and filled with laughter, tears and every emotion inbetween. Well worth a read if you have read this authors books in her suggested reading order. if you haven't the. I highly recommend you to back to the very beginning.

🎉🥰💕

I really enjoyed reading this follow up story about Noah and Alexa. It had bothered me when he stopped creating. As an artist I know how much not creating feels like a piece of you dies each day that you don’t make something. So thrilled Noah found a way to create art and help others.

Still not a fan of the F word!

Surprisingly this one made me tear up. Very touching. Very human. I like when she touches on real type of people.

Interesting to jump back into the life of the Fosters. I feel like there could be more mileage left in Alexa and Noah’s story.

I loved vain. It was one of my favorite stories. This kinda killed that. I love a good alpha male. Noah was the perfect alpha in the vain series....and I wish I hadn't read this because it destroyed my perception of him. As a 29 year old female who has no interest what so ever in having kids it's extremely difficult for me to understand when the characters want to badly to have kids. I can handle when they have kids because generally that's in the epilogue. But this entire story involves Alexa crying about not having a kid of her own and Noah crying because.....well I really don't know why he was crying because as soon as he told his wife what he hiding she was fine with it, My other problem is that Noah's character COMPLETELY changed. He was no longer the sexy masculine photographer......he was kinda a whiny mess.

Thank you for the update on Noah and Alexa, they are one of my favorite couples and I am so glad that all is well with them and their twins. I love that Noah found a better way to express his talent and give back to the community he grew up in along with keeping the memory of his mother alive. Alexa still wants for another baby but Noah is happy with their family the way it is but will give Alexa what ever she wants to keep her happy, in the end they both come to a happy medium and are happy with their decision. I also loved that you gave Ron a love interest I hope we get a novella on his story.

This is a great little check in with Noah and Alexa. Very short so perfect for before bed or even during breaks throughout the day. I got the warm and fuzzies throughout. Ron, Noah and Ben's dad, also got a lovely story that I was so happy to read. Those Foster boys sure know how to pick em.
Can't wait for Asher's story next. With Falon being friends/co-workers with his(Asher) cousin(Noah), I hope we'll get a few more little glimpses at the Noah Foster family. Seriously...I think I need more Max and Chloe...so funny.

I can never imagine how Deborah Bladon can out do herself in any of her books, but really she does!!! I've always loved the Fosters and their stories!! This one is a little more in depth into Noah Foster's life after marriage! I simply loved the way she brought each character through the story!! The story of his mother's life, his father's relationship with him and Ben and the story of Opal is so well written. That's not without saying that's she's a spectacular writer! I'm never disappointed after reading any of her books!!! #❤️

Standalone stories are the best since it's an easy read and you get to fall in love with familiar characters all over again. In Shiver we revisit Noah and Alexa and see what they've been up to since becoming parents to twins. Some things I wished would happen for them didn't and that was a little bit of a bummer, but overall this was a feel good story. Especially for Noah and Ben's father unexpected but perfectly timed reunion ;) I certainly hope this isn't the last I'll read about Noah and Alexa.

I've loved everything I have read by this author. I'm going to be honest and say I was so hoping that they would be blessed with a miracle but I'm glad they realized they were whole the way they were. I guess I remembered reading that she probably couldn't have any not that is a no forever. I guess it was wishful thinking. So sweet with Ronnie and Opal. Can't wait for Asher and then Nicolas's story. I knew from the way he was mentioned in this book he was getting one of his own.

GREAT!

I chose this rating because it was a very good book. I loved the way Noah include his family in almost every aspect of his life. The love that he has for his wife is immeasurable. Great father and husband. I also loved what he did for his mother's memory and the way he included his brother Ben in it as well. A lot of loving going on as well. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

I am not certain how I missed this one before since I have read all of her books. I loved the books with Noah & Alexa's story so to get some more of their journey was great.

I know I have mentioned it before but I LOVE Deborah Bladon's books. I have NEVER been disappointed with anything I have read of hers. I am constantly waiting for the next book so how I missed this one is beyond me.

This story is a continuation of Alexis and Noah’s loving marriage, their two children, and Ben and Noah’s mended brotherhood which I liked. There is a strong and commendable storyline concerning the homeless population centered on one particular character in the story. The scenes with Max and Chloe are adorable and the sentimentality concerning the matriarch of the fan are a fine tribute to her memory. I liked this quick and sentimental read.

Heart warming.

Ms. Bladon has once again given her readers an insightful look into the life of Noah Foster and his wife Alexa. Shiver is Noah's journey finding happiness within himself, learning forgiveness for things he had no control over and most of all loving those who make his heart beat. This is a must read.

Excellent! Noah and Alexa are back and better than ever. Sexy and devoted to his wife, Noah shares a secret. Will this surprise bring them even closer or create a hole? Can Noah pull off his newest idea? Shiver was an outstanding read!

Fantastic

Another great boom by Deborah Bladon, this follows the story of Noah and Alexa. To begin with the thought I thought it was going to end up badly, but it all worked out in the end.
