Simply outstanding *-*! This story never cease to amaze me :D! Such an interesting development of the characters and the plot!
The characters grow beautifully in these book, sometimes they are even forced to grow because of the situation they are in. We can also see how the relationships between them become deeper as they go through so much together. One of the little things that I liked about this is that the characters influenced on each other one way or another and made a great impact on their personalities! I love them even more now, my babies are growing way too fast :c
Also there is a new character that made an impact in the story and also to some characters (which is personally my favorite character now <3)!
The plot has so much turns and contains so many secrets that keeps this series soooo interesting and leaves you with a constant desire! *-*
ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER !!!! And this one left me even more curious then the last one T_T..... Why M.K.? ... Why ?
I adore this series <3 I will be so sad when I finish reading it :(

Something about M.K. Allen’s style greatly appeals to me. The tone and timbre throughout is enthused with a calmness that pervades the characters and the events surrounding them making for a soothing and relaxing read despite the fact that plenty is going on.

In this second installment of her Amethyst trilogy, events pick up immediately following the explosive happenings of Finding Lumen. The focus of this novel is on the characters. Throughout the book our main characters grow and develop individually and in the context of their relationships with each other. Watching the relationship between Amethyst and her mentor Lumen develop is wonderful. Allen manages to pace it just right.

Plenty more puzzle pieces slot into place about the mysteries left unsolved at the end of Finding Lumen and some major answers are found regarding Amethyst parentage.

I read Amethyst series with my fourteen-year-old son. We both enjoyed the books. The series are meant for young adult and those with young hearts. If you are a fan of vulgarity, then Amethyst series is not for you. If you are a fan of clean books with good values, then the Amethyst series are for you. I found the books refreshingly clean.
