The book was a little slow at times but most books like this will be if your are thinking about reading this book i would not go by what I say because I usually read books that are science fiction and fantasy. So compared to most books like this it was a good book, at least for me. The author was willing to go the extra mile in the book to find out what Moe Berg did specifically. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes baseball.

Although the book was a bit slow paced at times, I enjoyed reading about how an unusual sports guy was a spy for the USA during WWII. Also he apparently was much more educated than we normally credit someone in sports, as well as his being fluent in many languages. Morris (Moe) Berg was certainly an interesting multi-talented man. This rather short bio was much better than the movie (The Catcher Was a Spy). The book also includes a number of photos. This is what should be included in school history curriculums.
