(Budgeting and Personal Finance Book) Conquest: Budgeting and Becoming... — Kyle Fuhrer (11 titled chapters + My Background) Feb. 21, 2019

Normally, I pick these books up and get excited and then disappointed with the results. And truth: my money situation is so out there that these tips right now, aren't going to help me much. However, I did find some ideas to things that I am certain will help me out on down the road.

Plus, I liked that the author basically said: bare with me, read each shaper, you may not think them helpful, but having the over-view of the idea is good. I appreciate that approach to a self-help styled book.

This book seemed to be written and geared towards millennials, but an old dog like me found some ideas too. It is never too late, no matter how old you are to learn to save.

Also I learned that there is such a thing as debt fatigue (and that in and of itself made me realize why I do so good for so long and then when a little dust-up comes along, I fall of the wagon.

Everyone will be able to get something out of this book.

A word of caution though: there are typos and grammatical errors in this book. I don't mind coming from a self-publishing author, especially one who seems to really be trying to help other people out.

Four stars.
