JM Stewart writes heartfelt contemporary romance. Whether the heat level is sizzling or sweet, her stories are always deeply emotional. Her heroes are strong but sensitive (no alpha jerks here!), and her heroines are more Cinderella than Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Recently transplanted, she now lives in a small town in Texas along with her husband, two sons and two very spoiled dogs. When not writing, she enjoys reading, cooking and playing computer games. As a sensitive soul with a romantic heart, she believes in angels and hopes everyone finds their happily ever after.
This tale was both exciting and emotional. Stewart develops her plot and her scene in a seamless manner that really allowed me to enjoy each moment of it. I loved the way that I really got to know everyone while also becoming part of their lives. The tale was sizzling hot while also filled with realism that allows you to get really close to the characters.
Stewart really lets readers know the characters on a deep level. Their emotions, hopes, and dreams are apparent throughout as are their beliefs. I loved the dynamics between the various characters, especially between the main couple. Sinfully hot sex pairs with real emotions on many levels. At the same time, you really see how they work together and how their long history plays into this. The him/her, we shouldn’t really be doing this, actually really added to the story as does her brother and their friends take on the situation. It definitely lead to a couple of giggle worthy moments.
This was definitely a one of a kind tale that held my attention throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed each moment of it and can’t wait to see what happens next in this thrilling series.

3 Stars! “All-in-all, this is a standard friends-to-lovers story with very little drama or angsts. There’s not a lot to get emotionally invested so it’s a great read to pass the afternoon with.” - Hazel w/Craves the Angst, Reviewing for Cocktails and Books
I really enjoyed Bidding on the Billionaire and after the little teaser excerpt for Winning the Billionaire I knew I’d be picking up to see what was in store for Christina and Sebastian and I wasn’t disappointed. It was sweet, sexy and had me rooting for Tina and Baz to figure out their issues so they could have the HEA they deserve.
Christina has led a privileged life, though she has known tragedy, and on top of all of that she is extremely smart and yet isn’t arrogant about any of it. She works hard, does what she can to give back to the community and at the end of the day just wants to live a simple and happy life. All of this is what made me really like Christina. She’s has a huge heart that wants to take care of those around her and she has a backbone of steel that presents itself when she feels passionately about something. She does have her hang ups about ever finding a soul searing kind of love, and there is a valid reason behind it, and yet she still hopes that one day the right man will see her and be able to earn her trust.
Sebastian is the definition of driven. He’s worked hard to make his family’s hotel business successful and has succeed, though his father has never acknowledged the work that he’s put into it. This lack of relationship between the men combined with painful events of the past have made Sebastian believe that serious, committed relationships are not something he can be capable of, so he keeps things on the light side, so he can protect his heart. I loved Sebastian, even when I wanted to reach out and smack him upside the head I liked him because he really is a good guy who is afraid of hurting those he cares about the most. And as the book progresses and he starts to re-evaluate the way he’s been living his life I couldn’t help but fall for him even more.
Tina and Baz’s romance falls under the brother’s best friend/best friends sister trope and it was played out well. They’ve both been in love with each other for a while and yet neither realized it because they were both so good at hiding their feelings. The misunderstandings/angsty-ness are out in full force and yet tempered by some really sweet moments and very hot smexy ones. Tina drove me more batshit crazy than Baz did as they danced around and towards each other, but there are valid reasons for it, and it was fun to watch as they realized just how well they knew each other and how well they fit together.
I enjoyed Winning the Billionaire as much as Bidding on the Billionaire and loved catching up with Caden and Hannah and the roles they played in this book. I like how both Tina and Baz evolved in the book and thought their HEA was well deserved. This is a quick, fun read and though you can read it as a standalone, I recommend that you give the first book a go. And after that excerpt I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on the next book in the series.

Some Billionaire books can be a hit or miss with me because they all seem the same but Winning the Billionaire definitely had a uniqueness to it that had me hooked from the beginning. This is my first book by Stewart and needless to say I will be looking to reading more from her in the future.
Since I didn't read the first book in this series I wasn't really sure what to expect going into this but I really liked Sebastian and Cristina's story. These two have known each other since they were kids and Sebastian is Cristina's brothers best friend and Cristina has always loved him but what she didn't know is that he has always loved her as well. After Baz deals with his fathers death Tina comes to help him out. After a kiss Baz is hooked and is out to show Tina that she should give them a chance.
This two had a unique relationship while they both have feelings for one another there dynamic as friends is more then interesting. Cristina thinks that Baz thinks of her as a younger sister but that couldn't be more wrong. This story had some pretty hot scenes but what drew me in was the romance that was growing between these two. I enjoyed how Baz took the time and tried to woo her with all her favorite things and it really just showed how much he actually paid attention to her.
Stewart really brought these characters to life and while reading I couldn't wait for them to finally end up together. I enjoyed reading this story so much I definitely want to continue this series just to see what will come next and see how it will play out.
Bidding on the Billionaire was my introduction to JM Stewart. That one story left an indelible mark on my soul. The way she handled Cade and Hannah's at times unorthodox love story was beautiful. She gave me the chance to fall in love with the individuals before I became wrapped up in the couple. A unique concept that if done right has lasting impact. Winning the Billionaire continues that concept with Christina and Sebastian's romance. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review and although this couples foray into love was not as unconventional as the previous story's, it had it's share of issues. Tina cares deeply, has a successful career and the smarts to keep it that way BUT, her biggest failures are in matters of the heart. She pines for the one person that she knows will never want her. Baz, has a phobia of being left behind. From childhood to adulthood he has carried the burden of feeling unlovable by the people who mattered most. His connection to The McKenzies' particularly Cade and Christina are his most prized possessions. Losing that is unacceptable. Ms. Stewart has become another addition to my MUST READ list. Her seductive stories bring more to the table than sex. This author appeals to the heart of her readers as well with well written stories that leave a lasting footprint after the last page is turned.
Christina McKenzie has been in love with her childhood friend, Sebastian Blake for years, but he always treats here like an annoying child. His father is cold, distant and belittling. He's always tried to make him proud with no success. When his father dies, Sebastian is crushed. In order to inherit the hotel chain he rebuilt, he must marry or they will go to his stepmother. With so much emotional drama, these two find that their desire is mutual and overwhelming. What happens next is pure romance. JM Stewart captured my attention from the first page. I loved the chemistry between these two. I liked Christina. She's a brilliant and successful businesswoman who is also passionate and caring. She's a perfect compliment to Sebastian. I hate that he internalizes his feelings and won't take a chance on happiness. I really wanted these two to be together. I loved catching up with Hannah and Cade from Bidding on the Billionaire. The Seattle Bachelors series is filled with great characters, sizzling dialogue and passionate romance. Who could ask for more? I'm looking forward to her next book. I received a copy in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.
Being all about business can be of importance but sometimes its more than just business. Another Seattle billionaire that has an explosive connection to that one woman that can make his world that much better. Christina and Sebastian have more than just chemistry. They have a deep never-ending combustion that could set the world ablaze with the fireworks their coming together makes.
Pain and loss. This incident allows for the meeting of the minds/bodies that has been in the making for years. These two connect on more than the chemistry level. They have times that are fun, exciting, alluring. There are a few moments of suspense. This was a standalone read but it does drive the series forward with more to be excited about.
I am looking forward to the next step in the Seattle Bachelors. **This ARC was provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**
4.5 Stars This is the second book in the series. I really liked his one because Christine and Sebastian have been in each others lives forever especially since Sebastian is best friend's with her brother. We get to see the side of Sebastian that he keeps hidden from everyone and his true feelings for Christina. Sebastian is dealing with a loss that could bring him down to his lowest, but Christina is right there to lift him up. Will Sebastian wake up and grab what is right in front of him before it's too late? The chemistry between Christina and Sebastian is burning hot, but it also has that special bond that just adds to it. Sebastian won me over right away because hello the man has a cat that he rescued off the street. That calls for instant like for me, but that also shows you the true person that he is inside when he doesn't always project that image to the world. Great characters can;t wait for the next book in the series.
Somebody, please get me a fan and a bucket of cold water, because this book is HOT!! I am a HUGE fan of billionaire romance books, and although this book falls in the category of billionaire romance, it is not your typical storyline, and for that, I’m grateful to Stewart. Christina has been in love with her brothers best friend, Sebastian, for as long as she can remember, but Sebastian is a notorious billionaire playboy. Sebastian has to convince Tina that he isn’t a playboy and he has eyes only for her. Let me tell you potential readers, the chemistry in this book is electric and the sex scenes had me on fire. I loved all of this book and would recommend to anyone who enjoys a sexy m/f love story.

This is an amazing book. The chemistry between the two main characters is Hot. Sebastian and Christina have known each other their whole lives. He's her brother's best friend. From the beginning of this book you are hooked and won't be able to put it down. I'm loving this series and can't wait to read more. The complex storyline and characters you can relate to are what keeps me coming back! Plus the Hot guys!
Christina McKenzie is the CEO of her own software company, McKenzie Inc. Yet, she has spent many years fantasizing about her twin brother Caden’s best friend, Sebastian Blake. Caden and Sebastian have been best friends since they were in the first grade. They were both there when Sebastian’s mother left and know what the relationship between him and his father is. However, it annoys Christina to no end that Sebastian sees her only as the annoying little sister and not the woman she is today.
Christina fell for Sebastian in high school but kept him at arms-length. A few years back, she had run off to marry her then boyfriend in Las Vegas only to get her heart broken. Christina refused to make that mistake again and decided to keep her love for Sebastian a secret.
Sebastian Blake is the CEO and minority owner of Blake Hotels and Resorts that he started with his father. However, when his father dies, Sebastian is required to marry within a few months to keep the company or it all goes to his 25 year old step mother. The day his father passed away, Christina had shown up to his house unannounced. The walls he put up to keep Christina as his friend where destroyed the minute he kissed her. Sebastian needed her, desperately, but was also trying to hide the fact he fell for her when he was in college. He started to see her in all the places she fit in his life and decided it was time for her to know.
After the mixed signals Christina seems to be getting from Sebastian, they have a little heart to heart in which Christina offers to be his distraction. Words are spoken, feelings are hurt and the word “love” being put out into the universe is enough to make a woman come undone. Sebastian feels like a relationship with Christina would bring about all sorts of strings that he has spent years avoiding with various other women, except for one. After deciding to confide his true feelings for Christina to her brother Caden, Sebastian feels the need to straighten out the mess he made with her.
A funeral is enough to deal with but add on the fact that the girl you love is mad at you? Sebastian has no other choice then to go drink away his sorrows in a bottle of scotch and end up at Christina’s house.
“I can’t tell you how much it eats me alive to know I hurt you, but, sweetheart, I’m not what you need. You deserve the white picket fence and forever, and I’m not a forever kind of guy. I won’t use you that way.” ~Sebastian
Christina knows what needs to be done. Yet, Sebastian knows immediately that things will never be the same between them. Now, he just needs to make Christina see what he sees.
I enjoyed Winning the Billionaire. It is book #2 in the series and it can be read as a stand-alone. I really like the story line of Christina and Sebastian being friends for so many years before professing their love for one another. I also enjoyed the fact that the brother, Caden, had absolutely no issue with them getting together and actually helped facilitate it.
First J. M. Stewart book and it’s been delightful! Simple but enjoyable story with really great main character and hot love interest!
Billionaire romance is one of my fave genres to read. I mean I love the Cinderella poor-woman-meets-prince-charming-and-they-fall-in-love type but it's always a good thing to be surprised with something a bit different but still under the same trope. And Winning the Billionaire is just that.
Hotels and resorts CEO and billionaire Sebastian Blake has always been friends with Christina McKenzie since they were kids. Being the best friend of Tina's brother, Caden, means she's off-limits. Hence, him keeping her at arm's length and basically fighting off his attraction for her. His father's ultimatum seems to be the perfect excuse to act on his feelings for Tina. Only, she doesn't want forever with him.
Friends-to-lovers and billionaire romance? YES! Please! Though the story wasn't drama-heavy at all, it's very sensual, so sexy and heartwarming. What I love most about it was Tina who's the CEO of her own software company and could Baz straight. I love that the author levelled her with another billionaire so they're basically on equal footing. Tina's very thoughtful, so real and could very well run the world if she wanted to. She cares for Baz a lot but she had her own reservations because of Baz's reputation and her own doubts generally about men. Also, she still believed in forevers despite the circumstances so that gained her another huge advantage. Meanwhile, there's Sebastian who normally pushed all of Tina's buttons to shoo her. He's an a-hole for acting like an elite jerk. But deep down, the guy's a softy and a keeper. I loved that he grew some balls to win Tina over and gain her trust and respect.
The pacing of the story is good and so is the way that the author narrates it. There's no dull moment, cheating and other triggers.
Overall, Winning the Billionaire became a favorite and a must-read for its pleasant and steamy storyline, charming and funny characters and A+ writing that made me want to read more from the author and this series. Highly recommended!
Sometimes people come up with the craziest reasons as to why they shouldn’t be together. Even when they love someone, they hide behind reasons and excuses until they finally believe them completely. Unfortunately this has been the case for Baz and Tina – they thought they knew each other but they really had no clue.
Christina has been in love with Sebastian for practically forever. Her twin brother’s best friend, Baz was always in her life… even if he did seem to view her as an annoying little sister most of the time. Eventually Tina moved on from her devotion to Baz. You can only hold on to a dream for so long when someone sees you as a childhood memory, and never takes your affections seriously. Tina is smart, talented and could easily have any man she wanted – trouble is, she still wants Baz. Every relationship falls apart simply because there is only one right man for her… and he doesn’t want her back.
For as long as Sebastian can remember the people he cares about walk away from him. He has been in love with Tina for years now. Yet he has denied them both anything beyond friendship because he mistakenly believes that she deserves better than the messed up man he’s become… and perhaps there is a fear that she would walk away too given enough time. His father has done a number on him over the years and Baz has never, ever heard a appreciative word about his tireless work or his accomplishments. Only silence or the need to do even more.
One night everything will change. And this couple will have to make the choice to risk it all.
I enjoyed Tina and Baz’s story. Such sadness and wasted time, but they certainly made up for it once they got beyond the past. Sexy, charming and just plain fun. This is a romance that will delight any reader.
*I received an e-ARC of Winning The Billionaire from the publisher, Forever Yours and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
"She’d known Sebastian for over twenty years, since that fateful day on the playground in first grade when he’d bumped her out of the way to get to the monkey bars. He and her twin brother, Caden, had been joined at the hip since. Oh, she’d seen him with his shirt off plenty of times over the years. She’d never seen him quite like this, however, one tiny little scrap of fabric from being stark naked, and her imagination filled in the gaps fine, thank you very much. She bit her bottom lip. God bless America." ~ Christina
Christina has been in love with Sebastian - or Baz, as she calls him - since high school, but he's always treated her like an annoying little sister. Which considering the way he goes through women, she should count it as a blessing. She's already been burned once by her snake of an ex, thank you very much, and she has no desire to take that risk. If only she could stop dreaming & fantasizing about him. But when his father dies & Baz kisses her, it sets off something even hotter than her hottest fantasy - but can she trust it...?
“I’m safe with you. That’s what you do for me, Tina. For the first time in my life, I’m safe with someone.” ~ Baz
Sebastian has been in love with Cristina - or Tina, as he calls her - for as long as he can remember. But growing up in his house showed him that he would never settle down with someone, only to get crushed when they walked away. So he's kept his distance from her, letting her believe whatever she wanted about him. But when she showed up at his lowest moment - he cracked - and kissed her. Now he can't get her out of his head & he's tired of denying himself. She was meant to be his and it's time to lay his claim.
This was SUCH a great book. Just like the previous book in the series, J.M. Stewart as created characters so vivid that you half expect them to step out of the book. Wow, just wow.
Winning the Billionaire by JM Stewart is the second book in her Seattle Bachelor's series. This book is about Sebastian and Christina, Caden's sister from book one. If you haven't read the first book you can still read this book without any problems as they can be read as stand alone books.
Christina has known Sebastian 'Baz', a notorious playboy and her twin brother's best friend, her whole life and has been in love with him most of it but Baz still sees her as his best friends little sister. Having been deceived in the past by a man with a similar lifestyle of Baz, Christina no longer does 'relationships'. When Christina shows up at Baz's home to ask him to participate in her annual charity fundraiser Baz is in a grumpier mood than normal and when Christina pushes his buttons too far he snaps as pulls her into a kiss that leaves her breathless.
Sebastian has been secretly hiding his feelings for Christina for years. She is his best friend's sister and lusting after her or worst, making a move on her would be disrespectful to Caden. Thanks to his father, Baz also has a stern no relationship policy. When tragedy strikes Baz finds himself facing a wide range of emotions and the one woman he has always wanted is directly in the line of fire. When one kiss ignites the fire that has been slowly burning in these two they have to decide if they can put the past behind them and risk losing their friendship to find their HEA.
I seriously loved these two together. Their friendship was so strong that I feel it helped pave the path to these two finding their way to each other without the awkwardness they new relationships sometimes bring. The love and respect they have for each other shines brightly throughout this book and makes these two a couple you can't help but fall in love with.
I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.
After reading and falling for Caden and Hannah in the first book of this series, I was excited to finally get to Caden's sister Christina and her long-time crush and Caden's best friend Sebastian and their road to a possible HEA. And for the most part this book is a good read, but I didn't love it quite as much as I did the first book.
Sebastian has spent the majority of his life trying to gain his father's approval, but unfortunately that never happened. To add more salt to the wound, his father's will has an outrageous stipulation that if Sebastian doesn't accomplish, the company that Sebastian himself built up to the Fortune 500 company it is, will be signed over to Sebastian's stepmother (who is wife #5). We know that Sebastian's parents frequently argued when he was a child and that one argument was the catalyst that caused his mother to leave, but we don't learn any more than that. We don't know exactly what was said that made her leave, or whatever happened to her.
Christina has been in love with Sebastian since they were in high school, but has settled for being in the friend zone, or even worse, wearing the label "his best friend's sister". Things change one night between them, but Christina is determined to not expect anything more from Sebastian. He, however, finally acknowledges his true feelings for Christina, but realizes that he's going to have to work to get her to see that he wants more with her than just a good time between the sheets.
They get their HEA, but I just didn't feel the emotional impact with either Christina or Sebastian like I did with Hannah and Caden. I realize I keep trying to compare this book with the first book and that's not fair since each story will be different, but this is a series I would recommend. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, I have a feeling that one might be a bit more comedic, since Maddie (Hannah's best friend) seems to be the carefree type.
The sibling’s best friend trope is one of my favorites and Stewart handles it so very well. I appreciate that things aren’t drawn out overlong – yes, it’s been simmering for years, but once the cats out of the bag things get rolling quickly.
Sebastian has issues with relationships, thanks to his parents, so he’s already hesitant to get involved with Christina. Add in that she’s his best friend’s twin, that they all practically grew up together, and it makes a complicated situation even worse. But the death of his father has him experiencing all sorts of emotions and he lets down his walls, acting on his feelings … which could be the best or worst thing he’s ever done :)
Having been burned by a player in the past, Christina’s not too anxious to let down her guard with commitment-phobic Sebastian. And she’s gotten real good about hiding the depth of her feelings for him. But when he starts with the full force of his attentions on her, continuing to resist gets harder and harder.
I love these two together – they’ve got the history of decades of friendship, mixed in with repressed feelings now let out, it’s a chemical reaction just waiting to go off. But they never truly forget the love and respect they have for each other. Even in denial or full-fledged retreat, they still have that basis to work with.

Christina seems to have it all put together and she has not problem making sure everyone she loves dear is taking care of, including her brother Cade and his best friend even if they thinks its "mothering". However when she shows up at Sebastian's she can tell that something is wrong and she will get to the bottom of it weather he likes it or not. What she hopes to do is keep her heart in tacked. Will she be able to still come out on the other end ok? Sebastian looses the last person close to him and he has some big chooses to make but the last one is his to make and he has some secrets he needs to come clean about and expect in order to make the biggest choice in his life. He also needs Christina like his last breathe but needs to keep her at arms length to protect them both. Will he be able to keep his heart in tact or fulfill the last wish or someone close to him? I was really looking forward to this book when I read about Christina in Bidding for the Billionaire. I loved her spunk and her take no prisoner attitude, I really liked how this book was not so intense as the first one and I really liked how the author allowed both Chris and Baz to seem real with there vulnerability and that they just weren't these rich untouchable people. I really enjoyed there story while there was a ton of sexual tension between them it was not the primary story and the story line was quick and fun read. Like most books this book may not be f
I wasn't sure what to expect with this billionaire book but I wanted to give it a chance since I was in the mood for billionaire books.
This book follows Christina who has been in love with her brothers best friend Sebastian since they were in 5th grade. She has watched the bevy of women who have came and went all the while wishing he would ravage her body. After a passionate trist Sebastian finally fesses up telling her he does have feelings for her, she just can't believe it. What happens when you spend all your time into wanting someone you know will never want you? When the tables turn will Christina be able to except that Baz truly has feelings for her or will she run away thinking she is just another notch on his bedpost?
I liked the premise on the story and was intrigued. I liked that Christina was not one of these rich women who expected an man to take care of her. She is a software mogul and makes her own money. But she has always loved Baz. Like most Billionaire books I have read the plot was the same he needs to get married or he won't get the family company. Why is this always a stipulation? I have no clue.
I enjoyed the book for the most part and liked the characters. I knew what to expect and sometimes that is just what I need. Plus it was a quick and easy read.

Although this is the second book in the billionaire series it can be read as a standalone even though I urge you to read the first one. This story focuses on Christina and Sebastian.
Christina always thought that Sebastian thought of her as the annoying little sister of his best friend Cade. For as long as she can remember she's been in love with him but he's a player. She's tried to forget him and just be friends but after the death of Sebastian's father she felt he needed her.
After Sebastian father passed away and Christina came over early one morning her couldn't help himself, he has always wanted Christina but being the sister of his best friend she was off limits to him. He couldn't help himself she was everything to him and they shared a passionate kiss and he almost lost control he wanted her so bad.
What would Cade, Christina's brother say if his best friend and sister got together? Can Sebastian change his ways? Can Christina take down her walls and finally give into her love for Sebastian? Hold on for a wild and emotional ride that will make you laugh, cry and fan yourself over the hot sex.
I can't wait till September for the next installment in this series. Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon an Alpha.
Oh My! Sebastian and Christina’s story is one fantastic and emotional story that will keep you hooked from start to finish-their story is electric, they are hot together. Sebastian and Christina have known each other their whole lives. He is her brother’s best friend and she is considered the little sister. Christina has always been in love with billionaire Sebastian Blake since they were kids but he has never “seen” her in that light. So when something occurs and Seb asks Software mogul Christina out- and this is odd because Sebastian is Seattle's most famous bachelor-and perennial playboy, her fantasies go into gear. But the only reason he did what he did is because they shared a mind blowing night and he wanted to see if he can turn the night into a fling. Sebastian wants to keep everything as he normally operates but when it comes to Christina, that isn’t going to happen. She will turn his life upside down and make him rethink his bachelor status. Can Christina get her man? Will Sebastian realize he can have happiness and love? Pick up this story because it is soooo yummy good and totally worth it.
My rating: 4.7 stars ***** **I was given an ARC by the publisher in exchange for an honest review***
Christina McKenzie has loved her brother's best friend Sebastian Blake since they were kids. After Sebastian suffers a loss, Christina goes to comfort her friend but Baz wants more from her than comfort.
Sebastian knows Christina is too good for him but after a mind blowing night the tables are turned and he wants more than one night with her. Can he convince Christina he is ready to hang up his playboy ways?
I really enjoyed Winning the Billionaire by J.M. Stewart. I think it is the perfect read if you are looking for a book to get you over a book hangover or wanting to find the perfect beach book. The story was great without the heavy, dark drama that can weigh you down but just the right amount of emotional angst to keep the reader interested.
The chemistry between Christina and Sebastian was sizzling. I can't believe they hadn't jumped each other sooner with all the sexual tension these two generated. I liked the fact that Sebastian didn't use Christina's obvious feelings to get him out of a professional mess. To me that just proved he was wanting more than a fling.
This is the second book in the Seattle Bachelor series and I can't wait to read more.
I got a copy from the publisher and author via net-galley
I love the Seattle Bachelor Series. This is book 2 can be read as a standalone but you will end up wanting to read the first book as well, to learn more about the characters.
I loved this book, this author pulls you in with her stories from the beginning and leave you wanting so much more at the end of the book.
Story is well written, flows very well, and the characters are developed.
This is the story of Christina McKenzie and Sebastian Blake. We met them both in Bidding on the Billionaire (Seattle Bachelors, #1) Blake is best freind is Caden and Christina is his sister.
The chemistry between these two characters is intense. Blake thinks everyone will leave him eventually so he doesn't do relationships, he has a huge wall built up to keep everyone at a distance. Christina has walls built up as well to keep people at a distance because she had her heart broken by a past relationship, a guy she was planning on getting married to.
They both have fought their feelings for a long time, has the time come for these to realize that they belong together? One Click this book to find out.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series
Quick and dirty but oh so good review: Overall love. Sebastian and his journey awesome. How he went after Christina was amazeballs. His weekend incredible. Didn’t like what she did though and so glad Sebastian was a grizzly bear after honey there. So breakdown: Plot: fun and quirky. Sexy and saucy. Characters: Love Sebastian and how he came around and came to terms with his feelings and who he was. Love his dogged pursuit of Christina. Christina had some insecurities but was sweet and like a mother hen. She had me growl towards the end. Romance: saucy and fun. Highly entertaining. These two have you jockeying to see whose insecurities would win out. I loved how Sebastian took control and gave us those swoony and romance but also saucy and sexy. He was the total package in the romance once committed. Overall: Saucy, sexy and fun. Well written and grabs you and doesn’t let go.
Software mogul Christina McKenzie has loved billionaire Sebastian Blake since they were kids. I was given this book for a honest review. Ok now that's out the way. I really enjoyed this book. I am really enjoying the Seattle Bachelors series. This book started out great and held my interest. It was funny and exciting. I highly recommend this book and this series as a whole! Can't wait for book 3!
Winning the Billionaire is JM Stewart’s second book in The Seattle Bachelor series. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It kept me up way too late! Christina McKenzie and Sebastian Blake have known one another since childhood. Baz is the best friend of Christina’s brother. Each in their own way has loved the other for years. After Baz loses his father, he is given an ultimatum to retain control of his family’s resort business. He must marry. He loves Christina but she basically tells him she won’t marry him.
Winning the Billionaire is about putting aside what others expect for the chance at love. Baz elects to ignore his father’s directive but will Christina follow him?
Winning the Billionaire was well written and kept me cheering on both characters. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I’d like to disclose that I receive an advanced copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.
In the continuation of her Seattle Bachelor series, JM Stewart takes us into the rollercoaster ride of finding hot, sexy love right where you least expect it! These characters are hot and steamy and I adored them together! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next with these Seattle Bachelors.
Christina McKenzie has been in love with Sebastian Blake since she was in the first grade and he defended her from a schoolyard bully. No one knows of course … not Baz, not her twin brother Caden who is Baz’s best friend, no one.
Sebastian Blake is feeling overwhelmed with emotions, and he can’t resist putting his hands on Tina. She’s too much … too sexy, too potent, too caring. He can’t take her kind of mothering when his world is coming apart at the seams.
When they finally decide to stop fighting their desire, will they be able to find the relationship they each need out of this? She’s gun-shy, he’s a longer … but are they just what the other needs?
"Winning the Billionaire" by JM Stewart. Here we have the tale of Christina and Sebastian. They, along with Christina's twin brother, have been best friends since childhood, but have never acted on the attraction. I liked Christina - she's strong, independent and can take care of herself. Yet, I loved when her vulnerable and tender side came out. Sebastian is your typical playboy and, despite being hunky and sexy, fights to not believe his father's beliefs about him. It was enjoyable to watch Sebastian fight for Christina and to see Christina fight against it. I did find that it got a bit overdone at times - both characters not believing it could be and wouldn't last, which, at least for me, made the story drag occasionally. Ms. Stewart's writing style is easy to read and flows nicely. This is an enjoyable and fairly quick read that would be good for sitting on the beach on a summer's day. (received copy for honest review)
The second book in the Seattle Billionaires series, is a good old romance that'll leave you feeling just plain good at the end of the story. There isn't anything deep about the story, but the characters are well developed and have quite a lot of depth and definitely passion between them. Sebastian and Christina are perfect for each other, life long friends who've taken nearly their entire lives to finally figure each other out.
Even though this is the second book in the series, and I hadn't read the first book, the author did a very nice job with the backstory so that I never felt lost. Interweaving the previous characters into this book was very nicely done and kept the story moving along at a fine pace. All in all a nice rainy afternoon read...after all, it is set in Seattle!
This book was provided by Netgalley for my honest review.
Indescribably sexy, Winning The Billionaire will leave you as excited as Fifty Shades of Grey...maybe even more so! This book gripped me in the BEST WAY! I loved the characters and the interaction and the plot was infinitely tempting. I loved the steamy scenes and the incredible romance.
Winning The Billionaire has a very sexy, simple cover. I loved the dark tones and the almost intimidating pose. One that will have women dropping to their knees. The story was intriguing and irresistible and delicious! I am HOOKED now on JM Stewart!
This book gets a SINFUL FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its absolutely breathtaking and HOT AS HELL. I can't wait to see what else is coming!
