I must confess I read most of this book outside of the bathroom. I didn't want to stop reading it! I find myself enjoying books like this more and more with every one I read because they are so interesting and full of easy-to-read articles and plenty of trivia (and as a trivia buff, I REALLY love that aspect of the Bathroom Readers). This is a must read for any reader, whether they read in the bathroom or not!
This book is great. There are so many books in this series and each one I read I wonder how do they come up with so much information? Some of it isn’t all that useful but they still tell it in a way that makes it fascinating to know the trivia and I can definitely say even if you read it and don’t like some of it, there is something for everyone in this book and the others in the series. A completely unique kind of book filled with lots of interesting facts.
Lots of Interesting articles, however I gave this book 3 stars instead of 4 because I found some instances of errors. I don't think that anyone researches any of the "facts" in the Bathroom Reader books. I think if the editors find something that interests them in print, it's used without any fact checking. Too bad as a lot of the stories are pretty interesting.
Good mix of longer and shorter stories. The trivia at the bottom of the pages was a bit lacking compared to some other books... a lot of well known factoids.
i MUST SAY THAT I AM A BATHROOM READER. I LOVED THIS BOOK. SO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT SO MANY THINGS. IT WAS MY HUSBAND'S BOOK, BUT I FELT COMPELLED TO READ IT. A MUST FOR THE TRUE BATHROOM READER!
Great book of fun facts and interesting stories. This is meant to be read in a series of short sessions (bathroom breaks) but I found it hard to not read straight through.
