Utterly Vile
I've never read MC romance before, so I'm unsure if the behaviour exhibited by Jace, the 'hero' is genre typical. However, it is neither frisky nor fun, the title of the boxset I purchased it in. In chapter two the reader is treated to a sex scene in which the hero takes the heroine roughly, before she is ready, ignoring her protests: She repeatedly says no, says he's hurting her, and he continues, telling her she 'loves it'. His inner monologue happily informs the reader that she isn't wet enough and he can feel her tearing and bleeding.
I understand that for some readers, rape fantasy is a genuine thing, but its not MY thing. The book should be clearly labelled to avoid people purchasing it in error and being distressed/nauseated.
In addition to the offensive content of the boxset, the dialogue is stilted, the characterisations unrelatable and the quality of the editing is poor. I tried the beginnings of all the books in the set and found them if not as offensive, at least as unlikeable. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero.

Each story is a book 1 of a series.
They just about all end in a cliffhanger.
The Viking romance book was especially bad.It had so called historic ideas that had things in it that were 1000 years out of timeline. If the author truly has no idea of historical events then maybe it would be easier to set the storyline on a parallel universe.
Despite all books ending abruptly there wasn't a single story that I want to go on and read book 2 for.

This anthology is a group of different stories. Some of them are part of a series, so they are not complete stories. I enjoyed the storylines of each book. My favorite was the biker romance. I think it had situations that can be related to in everyday life. It was easy to get caught up in the book and not want to stop listening to it.
I did struggle though with the narration. It was hard to listen to and not have to focus on what was being said because at times it was hard to understand the narrator. I did not feel a connection to the characters. it truly felt like someone was reading me a book. I like when I can get lost in the narration and the book becomes a movie in my mind. The editing was not perfect and the reading of each content page made no sense to me as it was just a listing of the chapter numbers.

This is a good whodunnit storyline. It’s written well by Lexy. Lots of intrigue and mystery. A great performance from Hannah.

This is a non stop action packed book. From start to finish it’s on full speed. Good characters, a storyline with meat and a great performance.

Mistitled
These are the first books in Lexy's various series. Fun reads? not really. Frisky romance? not really. Good reads? depends on your individual tastes. I like an eclectic group of authors but not all their books. Anthologies like this helps a lot in selecting which series to spend my hard earned money on

No romance to be found
This is a terrible read. It's poorly written with a ton of incomplete sentences. It's vulgar and very juvenile. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone. The author seems to think borderline rape is romantic. This is all just sick.

All these stories by Lexi Timms make you want to just roll over and enjoy your sexual fun. To be frisky and to enjoy your sexual fantasies is so enjoyable. Can't wait to read all the sequels to each and everyone of these stores.

Good starter pack

I enjoyed the first book Seeking Justice, second on Perfect for Me and last book Viking. Did not enjoy the highschool story or biker story.

Meh some of the books were good and others I couldn't finish so overall this box set was just ok for me. You may enjoy it a lot more than I did though so if you're interested get it 😉
