MINE Part 3

Rate this book
I’ll never let her go. No matter how hard she fights or how much she tries to pull away from me, I know she loves me. Even if she no longer loves me I’m ruthless enough not to let that matter because a life time spent with her hatred is better than a life time spent without her.

I know she can’t live without me. It’s only fair. I can’t live without her.

Ashley is my life, the centre of every happy thought and feeling of joy that I have. She’s accepted my illegitimate child and swells each day with my seed, her acceptance of my past mistakes a gift that I cannot ever repay.

All I have to do now is protect her from those who seek to take her away from me and convince her that the love she forced me to feel is worth fighting for another day.

I’ll stop at nothing to keep what is mine, so now I’ll show them all exactly what I am capable of.

The conclusion of Ashley and Lucian Jasper's story. The book picks up where the last one left off with the arrival of Maddie, Lucian's illegitimate child whom he knew nothing about. The discovery of Maddie leads the Jasper's back to the UK to visit Lucian's parents and to find out the truth behind Maddie's hidden existence.

From there life returns to normality and they discover that Ash's pregnancy is not all that it seems. Their relationship continues to be tested but it's nothing that they can't or rather don't overcome.

In all honesty this series was middle of the road, I really wanted to like it but struggled with some things like Lucian's domineering persona out shining Ashley's spunk. The book probably Would have gained more depth had it been lengthier and had more character development... A solid 2.5 stars for me

I read all three books and although I'm not sure I like the last book adding things that should have been in the first book the series was quite good.
The first book left the reason he disappeared up in the air and then in the third book it all became mysteriously clear even though it wasn't the fault of either of the main characters or was it?

I was rooting for Luc and Ash to have their happy ever after. You just can't help but love Luc for all his arrogance. Glad that I made it through the previous books to find out more about their story.
