Unhinged

Unhinged definitely represents this book. It is filled with suspense. They say that love will make you do some crazy things, and Lilly proves that in this book. She is one crazy, unstable chick. I started reading and got drawn into the storyline right from the beginning, and I did not stop until the very last page. This book was just that good. With each turn of the page, there was something new. You never knew what to expect. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. The author did a great job with this one.

This was a different type of story that was delivered with an intriguing edge that kept me reading. The characters, though odd, were interesting, especially Lilly who was quite unstable. Good suspenseful read.

Just okay

The book started good but somewhere in the second half of the book the story lost me. The characters just didn't make sense to me. Their personalities completely changed as if I was reading about a whole different set of characters.

Book review of Unhinged

Meet Malachi. Sexy ,smart, but he has his issues. Life has not been so easy for him, with his choice of women and the crazy family that he has. And on the other hand we have Lilly. Lilly seems to be a beautiful and sexy woman on the outside who has a shady past. Lilly has told Malachi about her past and he has accepted it along with any consequences that may come along with it. Malachi has a sister by the name of Malika who is dating Chang. Malika been informed by the police about the shady past of Lilly. The battle is on for Maliki for her brother but Lilly is determined to marry Malachi. Will Malachi (Chi) come to his senses and make a good decision in the relationship that he has with Lilly. Will Maliki reveal to everyone what the cops have told her about Lilly or will she just let things happened? Will the marriage between Malachi and Lilly really happen. What does the feature hold for everyone. Will secrets be revealed?

At first, I thought this book was going to be headed in a different direction but it took a totally different turn. A quick read because it is such a big page Turner. Seems to be a reveal or surprise on every couple of pages. Everyone seems to have secrets in the book and me as the reader I was waiting for each secert to be revealed. It's a taboo for an African-American author to write on mental illnesses. It is a breath of fresh air. The twist and turns is ones that can be found in a seasoned author. Anticipation for part 2 is well work waiting for.

Have you ever read a book and you were sitting there thinking GOOD LAWD I DIDN'T KNOW PEOPLE WERE THAT CRAZY?? Okay well this book was that book for me. This is my first read by Tabitha Sharpe and when I say I was COMPLETELY thrown all the way for a loop, I honestly am telling you the GOSPEL TRUTH!!!!! Every time I knew exactly where Ms. Sharpe was getting ready to take the story I was WRONG!!!! This story is centered around the relationship of Malachi and Lilly. I don't like to poke fun at anyone with mental illness but Lily was on a completely different level of crazy and down right scary. The way she was able to make people second-guess their gut instincts and have them questioning whether or not their mind was playing tricks on them was absolutely freaking astonishing. Hands down she had to be the best chameleon that I've ever seen in a book. Chi was just an all-around good guy. He really wanted a relationship with Lily to work and even though his gut was telling him to RUN, FOREST RUN, his heart wouldn't let him cut her loose. This book was nothing like I anticipated. I actually went in with no idea of if I would like it or not but I can truly say that I HIGHLY recommend this book. If you haven't heard of Ms. Sharpe you are sleeping on an incredibly talented writer. Every twist, every new development, just had me sitting on the edge of my chair scratching my head saying what is she going to pull out of her hat next??? GREAT JOB Ms. Sharpe!! Great Job. You have definitely been added to my very short list of MUST READ authors!!!

Unhinged by Tabitha Sharpe was a great read. I didn't predict the story would change course but overall it was a really good story. The story revolves around Chi and Lilly and their crazy world wind relationship. I knew this chick Lilly was cray cray lol.

The first indication was when she began talking to herself and then breaking & entering. Chi was a great guy in what he thought was a happy and normal relationship. That is until secrets were exposed. He should've listened to his first instinct and got the hell out of dodge.

This storyline was had me anxious to finish. These characters had me eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I didn't know what to expect or who to trust. Everyone was acting suspiciously. This book was full of surprises. What really surprised me was the ending. All I can say is WOW. I didn't see that coming. I'll be waiting for part 2. Job well done Tabitha Sharpe.

Unhinged

This book started off slow for me but once it picked upped, it picked up. Chi and Malika are siblings that didn't have the best relationship growing up. A tragedy in the family brings them close and skeletons comes out the closets. Chi moves to Georgia to attend college and he Mets a co worker that becomes more than a co worker. Lilly is a NUT. Chi finds out about Lilly past but he still chose to deal with her. Malika moves to Georgia with Chi and meets Chang. Chang has a dark past also that he's trying to correct. However; the rollercoaster ride that the author have you on is so not what is expected. I was surprised how it turned out but none the less this is a very good read. Hoping for a part two. #Deanna's Bookshelf#

Just plain crazy

This story was exciting and well written. I enjoyed the craziness of it. However it just goes to show you how serious mental illness is. I applaud the writer for such a good job. She will be placed with my other favorites. If you're looking for a good read that will keep your attention this is it.

I love that the book explores an issue people don't always talk about. I gave it 4 stars due to a few errors that could confuse someone, the story started pretty average, the characters developed well. The ending, you will never see coming. I would recommend this book to people
