★★★★★! Everett (stand-alone). Stranger on a train becomes new boss, but he hides a secret life in BDSM!

“You know what it feels like to offer yourself to someone, but you have no idea what it means to be owned by another.”

Everett (stand-alone) opens up to three people alone in a subway cart. Graphic design graduate Indigo Ericson, Indy and her boyfriend plus a tall and sexy stranger in a suit.

5 stops left on their ride; One dare, two orgasms and three strangers share a moment in time.

Indy went on to develop a bit of an infatuation with the stranger, even tried to find him. It will be months before their paths shall cross again. A now a single Indy meets her new boss.

Creative Director Everett Belford, Vett aka Sir is the personification of indifferent, enigmatic, stand-offish, slippery, unpredictable and unapologetic. Twelve years her senior also puts him at an advantage

Indigo Ericson, Indy is in over her head. I predict she will wrap herself around your heart with her tendencies to over analyze and stalk her new boss. Nine words to describe Indy: Naïve, determined, curious, go-getter, vixen, innocent, stubborn, vulnerable and endearing.

Everett, told from Indy’s POV except for the ending is one woman’s sexual awaking and erotic journey into BDSM. But there are also life lessons to be learned and a love that wants to grow despite their differences.

Lyrical story-telling! Favorite heroine shelf! Indifferent and unreadable hero! 5 stars!

“To her right and wrong was irrelevant in comparison to her feelings for me.”

I honestly didn't realize when this book finished i was so caught up by the story, turning and turning pages waiting for the mystery to unwrap. This story was pretty amazing with an "enigmatic" (if i can say that) mystery combined with a dark (good) vibe and two slightly different from what is expected characters.

Indigo's life changed after an "extreme" event on the train/subway and one man, one mysterious man filled her mind and her night dreams, after months are passing his image never erased from her mind. Her fate worked in her fortune and when she found a dream job at Digital Monument never imagined that her boss is going to be the man that made her panties wet all the time by her thoughts only, now He is in front of her in flesh all her prayers came true...the thing is that he seems that he didn't recognize her or for all it matters pretend not to. A determined Indigo now will turn the world upside down to win his attention and everything she even imagined to come true, an obsession will take life He will be her obsession.

"For the first time, i was scared-scared of what to say or what he would infer, scared of this magnetism that drew me to him for the first time i saw him on the train. I was scared of falling and what it meant to do so.

I was holding my breath all the time in this story, i don't know how else to describe it but it was like a low volume intensity which is a more torturous emotion, you didn't know what to expect what she will discover about him because believe Everett is a very Enigmatic character giving nothing away, like a statue/robot, also with a dominant personality you can also she that that Indigo made him even for a little times to open for bit, she was his distraction and didn't expect that a young will soon have some power (emotional) on him. The pace was quite steady and the author's narration could make you feel the vibe of everything was happening, i don't know if there will be a second book but i would love to see more of these two characters.

5 LIKE YOU’RE MINE STARS!!!

I fucking loved this book! I read it in one day. I devoured it. I didn't shower. I didn’t get dressed. I basically read, ate and used the bathroom. I also had to move from room to room so my ass wouldn’t fall asleep. I simply couldn't bring myself to put this book down because it was fucking incredible. It’s not often a story like this comes into my life! And when it does. Boy does it leave it’s mark. And Everett is THAT kind of story.

This book was...
HOT
INTENSE
SEXY
STUNNING
HEART WRENCHING
PROVOCATIVE
AMAZING
IT WAS EVERYTHING!

The sexual tension between Everett and Indigo was crazy hot. Cray-zee HOT. From their first encounter I could feel the chemistry between them. The sexy times were so intense, I needed some time with myself. Not gonna lie. When he looked at her, I felt his eyes. When he spoke to her, I heard his voice. When he touched her, I felt his touch. Cee consistently succeeded in making me FEEL what these two were feeling. Now that is some crazy amazing talent!

Ok, let’s talk about my man, Everett. He’s seductive, mysterious and commanding. I fell for him before that last stop on the train. I wanted to get off with him. Literally. GET. OFF. WITH. HIM. I was infatuated with this man, consumed with lust. There’s just something about him. Maybe it’s because he’s still a bit of a mystery, and that’s okay because I think it makes him even more attractive. Would I like to know more about him? Hell yes. Do I need to? Probably not. But I want to. He definitely left an impression on me. And I LOVED it.

I loved this book! I was completely intrigued and mesmerized with this all consuming love story. Cee Smith’s writing style makes you fall hard for her characters. You feel submerged within the pages. You don’t always know what is going to happen, but you know that you will be taken on an incredible journey. Her words hit you in all the right places. In all the best ways possible.

Technically I skimmed through to the end, but that is where I started really skimming a lot. I never felt their connection. I don't have to have dual POVs in order to enjoy a book, but I think that this book could've been so much more if we got to understand where the H was coming from. I felt like he just came off as a cold jerk.

And the h?!? She came off as a desperate, couldn't-take-a-hint, stalker. I was literally cringing when she did some things

I would say that the initial scene was pretty hot and it sucked me in, but then after the sample it just went down hill from there. Luckily it was on loan from booklending.com ;)

Cee Smith creates an intense, erotic and thrilling experience in her latest novel Everett. This book caught me by complete surprise. Indigo Ericson has been haunted for months of a memory of a stranger on a train. One erotic experience has had her on the edge of wanting to discover what it was about “suit” that had her body begging to submit. She never expected the man to be sitting on the other side of the desk, at her new job – as her boss. As he treats her with indifference.

Sparks fly as these two work side by side, neither willing to concede to acknowledging that night on the train all those months ago. But Indigo’s obsession turns and she can no longer just wait for him to take notice. She knew the man commanded attention and control, and in order to get what she wants, she must submit.

I was captivated by this book from the very start. The writing was hypnotic and the opening scene set the pace for this erotic story. It was lust at first sight. Indigo’s obsession was out of control, I loved how far she was willing to go to claim that feeling – to claim the man who owned her in a single moment.

This book was hot as fuck. The sex was off the charts, the anticipation of each encounter was just as sizzling as the moment when these two came together. I enjoyed the author’s prior three-part serial, so I had a feeling this would not miss the mark, but I am in absolute love with the way this story was told. This book needs to be on everyone’s list of must reads.

Wickedly Seductive!

The sexual tension in this book is off the charts hot! Everett is probably one of the most arousingly erotic books I have read in a long time.

This is the first book I have read by Cee Smith and it definitely won’t be the last. Her writing is provocative and will seduce you from the first page. The build up of sexual tension was so intense I felt every electrifying, skin tingling sensation awakened in Indigo. I totally forgot I was reading.

A word of advice... read this book alone, or better yet make sure your significant other is close by. Read this book if you like carnally, steamy, sexy, explicit books. Be aware that Everett and Indigo participate in BDSM, I thought the scenes were very done but I would not read this if you are newbie to the BDSM genre. Everett is for more advanced readers. I felt like Everett, as a Dom, should have explained and taught Indigo a little more thoroughly than he did but that neglect I think was for a reason. It added to the tension and turmoil Indigo was feeling.

Everett is utterly intoxicating and will inflame you, consume you, fill your senses and ignite your desires.

Everett and Indigo are an unforgettable couple and I would love for Cee Smith to turn this into a series.

4.0 'SUIT' STARS!!!

That’s how life is sometimes, I suppose. Right person, wrong time.

I do not know where to start with my review. To begin with,  I read this book blind. Sure I read the blurb and to be honest it's what caught me and I did not expect what awaits me as I go on with my reading.

Everett by Cee Smith is one of those books that left me stunned and in awe and keeps me on the edge. The story started erotic, blunt and I did not expect it because man I sure read the blurb but I really did not thought to read something so damn hot that made me even pause and re read the first two chapters. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but definitely something not the usual I read as a start of a story. I was confused in a good way and it made me even more curious and kept me turning the pages. To tell you, the book is deliciously erotic! Hands down to that and sure enough I missed reading some kinks in the book. It was not overly, in fact as I read and savor words after words  even without the act of doing the hot scenes yet you will feel in yourself the hotness that lies beneath it. It was not an insta-love romance but the sexual tension and the chemistry between the leads is undeniable and that's what made the book more interesting. To read both the growth of the characters and finally read how their feelings towards each other bloom. And that's what you need to find out. ;)

To top it all the book is really good and please Cee does this book have another installment? Because man I really don't think I'm through with Everett and Indigo yet and I feel like I needed more of them and to quote I'll use your lines from the book,

- I continued to call back the feelings he evoked, oftentimes feeling the ache of longing that stirred in my belly. The slow simmer of need hollowed through my womb leaving a dull throb that could only be relieved with the brush of my fingers. Even after I brought myself to sudden release, the phantom pain would return.

Indeed, One touch would never be enough!A must read!

Imagne a chance encounter with someone that you had such a visceral reaction to that you knew you would never be the same again. You knew you would never forget them and you knew that no one would ever compare.

Everett is contolled in everything he does. Work and play there are rules and they are meant to be followed, until Indigo. No matter how much he tries to maintain control with her there is no stopping the pull she has on him.
Indigo wants Everett in everyway possible and she's willing to do anything to have him. Everett has become her obsession and the more he tries to put distance between them the closer she gets. I loved watching this sexy controlled man lose control when it comes to Indigo.
I really enjoyed this book for many reasons. Not just for the off the charts sex that had me fanning myself or the fact that Everett is a smokin hot alpha. I loved it most because of Indigo, she saw something she wanted (Everett) and she went for it with no reservations and no apologizes.

I think this story has a little bit of everything. There is definitely chemistry, intrigue, angst and most of all love. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about hot alpha males and the women who have the power to make them lose control.

This story sure started with a bang ;)
Indigo and Everett first encounter is memorable, so much so that Indigo can't stop thinking about the mysterious man on the train.
When she finds out that the mystery man is her new boss, things start to feel hopeless, but Indigo is the type of person that goes after what she wants and she wants Everett.
The story was smoking hot and the chemistry between the characters was amazing, I could feel what Indigo was going through, while throughout the story Everett's feelings are still hidden to the readers.
I know that it was the author choice to have Indigo's POV only, but at times I felt , just like Indigo, blindly going through their arrangement..no clues at all..so I would have loved to have Everett 's POV here and there.
I have mixed feelings about the ending..going from elation to wanting more more more!
It was a captivating story tho and I loved it!

It's been awhile since I was captured and enamored with a story as I was when reading the first two chapters of Everett. They were sinfully erotic and deliciously written. From that moment on I was on a ride with Indigo to find that sexy and mysterious stranger called Vett.

It was an intense and erotic story that was written flawlessly. I could easily understand Indigo's infatuation with Everett and being intrigued by his appearance and behavior. He definitely had his secrets. The way Indigo chose to act upon to get her answers is up for debate, but I understand why she did what she did. The mystery of Everett and also all these new intense and exciting emotions she experienced was too addictive.
The chemistry between the two of them was insane. Off the charts! I really enjoyed the connection but also how brazen Indigo was. She was interested and intrigued by Everett's sexuality and jumped straight in because she wanted it and needed it too. In the beginning Everett was a mystery to me. I couldn't figure him out but that also added an element of excitement. The more answers I got the more infatuated I became with Him.

Before I began reading Everett I said to myself that I needed an erotic story and that exactly what I got. Fabulous characters and a great story. I couldn't ask for more.

Doing something that was completely out of character but thrilling leads her to a man that would never have given her the time of day. One train ride one daring yet thrilling and erotic ride changes her life. The night she met Vet Blew both of their worlds apart.
Sexy and dominating Everett could not stop thinking about Indy and the train ride of his life. Now, she is working for him and he has to keep things professional.... Yeah harder to say than to do.
This book is steamy, sexy and daring, but most of all it is love that they never knew they could have.
I love how devious and daring Indy is in order to get her man. I also love how vulnerable she is by putting it all out there for him in the end. Well they both it out all to see if what they have is worth it all. Everett, the sexy man you will want dominating you, bending you to his will.

I absolutely loved everything about Everett! It was so hot, erotic and of course, addictive! Not to mention it's full of suspense and I promise you, it will leave you hanging off the edge of your seat. At least, that's how I was. I couldn't put it down once I started, and I soon become obsessed with everything to do with Everett. He's the hot 'suit' that Indigo can't seem to stop thinking of and I totally get why. From the very first meeting between the two, you can literally feel their chemistry flowing off the pages. Indigo is independent, but yet Everett awakens something in her she never knew she needed.
I really hope Cee Smith writes another book on these two. I miss them already and I wish their story never ended. This was my first book by Cee, but I can definitely tell you it won't be my last.

3.5 stars. Whooaah! I completely devoured this book in just one day. Upon the beginning of this book, I had no IDEA where the story was gonna lead up to. and oh, how I was surprised and shocked. Vett is literally the epitome of the perfect man. The rare sweet moments between Vett and Indigo were my favorite scenes. AND SERIOUSLY *SWOON*

this is definitely not for everyone, if I knew what I was up for then i probably wouldn't even dare to pick this book up. and when you read this book-you'll get what I'm talking about. (the relationship in the beginning... well let's just say I am not a fan. but I loved the progress of both Indigo and Vett that by the end of the book, I was pleased at how it all turned out)

3.5 stars. This is a new to me author. I enjoyed this book and would venture to read other books by this author. Everett starts out with a bang with the way that Everett and Indigo meet. The writing was good, and the plot is one I've read many times before. There was an element of suspense or mystery to it as we are not privy to all that is Everett. He is definitely closed off to everyone including Indigo and he never really changed from that. I wish there was more development with his character. Indigo was a refreshing character and although she got stalkerish at times, it was very entertaining! All in all it was a good read and it left me wanting more of the characters and their story.

I liked this book, I loved the scenes where Everett would let his guard down, "he nipped my neck with his teeth and leapt up, saying, “Now, get up and start the shower. I’m going to order us breakfast then join you in a bit.” Overall this was a good book, some of Everett's actions upset me, but I guess that's a typical man for you.

"His eyes whispered promises of more. They stripped me bare and lashed at my skin until my neediness was right there at the surface begging him to take a closer look. I didn't want to look into those eyes. I didn't want to feel stripped down there in his office, not like that. Not in the way he was looking at me-where all my secrets, all of my hopes and dreams were his for the taking to manipulate in any way that pleased him."

Holy hell...I thought I knew what to expect after reading the blurb but nothing prepared me for the journey I have just took! I also need to take a cold shower as some of the scenes were burn your kindle hot!!

Even now I'm struggling to write a review that is fitting. When I read the first chapter I was totally thrown off and to be brutally honest didn't like it at all. I thought this isn't gonna be my cup of tea but I was willing to continue, a little apprehensive and hoping the story wasn't anything like the opening scene and thank the lordy as I continued my perseverance was "rewarded".

The story was cleverly constructed intertwining erotica, intrigue and passion. With intense characters that were raw and honest. The dynamics of the "relationship" made for a powerful emotional read. I especially felt connected to Indigo as I felt the Author astutely laid her thoughts and feelings out bare, she was sassy and knew what she wanted but ultimately was ruled by her emotions which aren't we all right? Everett was something else altogether, cold, emotionless, standoffish and distant and made me fall for him even more! He exuded power. All of these qualities put together formed quite the page turner and before I knew it I was finished and left wanting more!

"A king sat on his throne."

Told primarily through Indigo's pov we do get a snippet of Everetts thoughts and feelings where the final chapter is told in his pov. My only criticism and its not really a criticism more like a little moan is I love an epilogue and there wasn't one...so I'm hoping there is more to come from these two...hint hint!

After never reading anything before by Cee Smith I'm definitely looking forward to perusing her other works!

Would highly recommend to readers who enjoy erotica reads.

I've been a Cee Smith fan from the beginning, but I think this has been my very favorite. Everyone by now knows I have a definite "thing" for the bdsm genre.
This one had me hooked from the very first chapter...OMG so seriously erotic. And I mean the shoe tying... that, to me, said oh so much about Indigo as a person...that set the tone for what was to come.
~This wasn't the squishy, cute, write our initials on stationary kind of crush. This feeling was the kind that made people show up at doors to profess their longing.
The storyline was typical. Girl has crush on boy, devises ways to "meet", wants more of a relationship than he does...but it was so well written, the characters were just so entertaining, that I didn't want to put it down. I had to get to the next chapter, and then the next, and the next... I was addicted to the story, to Everett the same is Indy was, I had to know how it all ended.
I laughed out loud, yes...with Indy spread before Everett, on his desk, naked for the very first time and he....I laughed so hard.
I know this isn't going to be for everyone. I know just the mention of bdsm is enough to turn some off, but when it's such an important part of the book, yet it's not depicted with any vulgarity, I really think those of you on the fence would enjoy it.
I completely understood where Indy was coming from, I too, can justify some of her rash behavior.
~At every opportunity he found was to make me need him. Not want him, no. It moved beyond want a long time ago.
She knew what she wanted and she went for it...if it was career based, she would have been exulted for such actions...but because it was personal, it's tainted. Or perhaps, because it's the female, or the submissive in the relationship it's frowned upon strongly, causing more damage than good...yet ultimately...the end justifies the means. I'm rambling. I don't really know what to say except that I really enjoyed this story and I personally think it's my fave Cee Smith yet!
5 submissive stars
My absolute fave quote in the book~
I wasn't delusional in my pursuit of him. I was inadvertently encouraged. Empowered by Everett's inability to just fall. To take a leap. An uncalculated risk. I was willing to do something he couldn't. I took a chance on us. For us.

This book!

Love it!
Yayyy!

The story starts with such an explosive and unique encounter that I was pulled in from the very beginning, wanting to see what happened next.

Wow

I found this extremely well-written and I enjoyed the smart references, use of similes, and humour peppered throughout the book. Vett and Indy are two really intriguing characters and I loved all of their interactions and the progression of their relationship. Vett has so many layers to him, which made it really enjoyable to read as Indy discovered and experienced him more deeply. The sexual tension was so intense and off-the-charts hot!

#sexytime

Despite that Indy did a number of things I would personally never do, I always understood her motivations and continued to root for her. She discovered a lot about herself through the course of the story, in a completely believable way. The last chapter was perfect, and telling it from Vett's point of view was genius! We learned a lot about him from Indy's point of view up to that point, but his insight and perspective were icing on the cake and really brought everything together.

Perfection

I would most definitely re-read this again in the future, I loved it that much! And I'll be reading more from Cee Smith for sure~♥

I really liked Cee Smith's Just This Once series, and I could not wait to read Everett. I read it, but I decided not to give rating, because there was a lot of page skipping for me. A few words of explanation.

This story has a fantastic start, a train ride is smoking hot, and in general has a very interesting idea for a plot. The mystery and tension was dragged to the limit. What killed my interest was too much internal dilemmas and self-examination of the heroine. At the same the hero, Everett was a man of few words. It took so much space that I felt like I did not know him at all and it was a little confusing.

But it has a very sexy scenes, some are OMG, something for those who like perversions. This has a BDSM play, and the type of dom/sub relationship with a lot of kink. Those scenes were really good and smoking hot.

Despite all this Cee Smith is the author worth watching. She has fresh ideas for the story, and is not afraid to write a very bold scenes. Let's not be discouraged by my lack of rating. I definitely look forward to her next books.

Everett by Cee Smith is a first time read for me. Everett was well written, and captivated my attention right away. This story held me transfixed from start to finish, I could not put it down. Every chapter drew me in more than the previous . I liked how the story flowed and how it keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next. I think Cee Smith has a hit on her hands with this one. I found that the POV between the characters was very emotional and heartwarming. There’s so much emotion in this book. It deals with real issues and real people and their real reactions to them. Here is a little about the book Everett. Indigo Ericson gets her dream job at Digital Monument, she can’t believe her luck. Not only is she collaborating with an award winning creative team, but she is also working on a top-secret project. And then she meets her boss. Everett Belford isn’t just the creative director. He’s the man from the train Vett. The stranger Indigo has spent the last three months infatuated with. He may act like he doesn’t remember, but Indigo won’t let him forget. I gave this book 5 stars due to it was so hot and steamy and would defiantly recommend this book to all my friends who read the same types of books I do. I am addicted to reading and am glad I had a chance to read this book.

Indigo is a very feisty woman the book starts out with her boyfriend Ryan telling her to seduce a man on the train.. We find out this man's name is Everett and Indigo begs him if it's okay she pleasures him. Indigo after the encounter can't get Everett out of her mind. Indigo ends up getting a job and who happens to be her boss yes you guessed it Everett! Indigo wants to ask Everett if he remembers her but she just waits.. Indigo goes all stalker like and follows Everett home and to a bdsm club. Indigo had enough and goes into the club and Everett isn't happy he drags her in the back and let's a friend taste her while Everett says nothing can ever happen between them. There relationship goes back and fourth we know Indigo wants more but we never ever really find out why Everett is such a Dom which bugs me there are some really Hot, sexy scenes in this book melt your kindle! Everett hides so much while Indigo is like a open book. I loved the ending to the story but hoping there's another book to this story to fill in the void! Indy meets Vett in unusual circumstances and she can't keep him out of her head. Then a while later, she meets her new boss : Vett!!!!why is he acting like nothing happened? She is drawn to him like a moth to a flame, will she get burn or will he? This is a twisted story of dominance and submission. You will understand the twist and turns at the end of the book (spoiler) I hope there is another book to this story, because more can be said about their story.

REVIEW
4* read. New author to me and i was really surprised by the story and the twists it did also have. This isn't my usual read tbh i tend to stay away from the bdsm genre because i sometimes just find it to much, but i actually really enjoyed this story and Indigo and Everett had so much chemistry that i enjoyed reading their story. The bdsm side fitted in well without been to much and i hope there's going to be another book on them as i feel their still more of their story to be told.

I received the book in exchanged for an honest review.

Good and interesting book. It did have me on edge to get through the story. How Everett and Indy met certainly hooked me into the book. Good read with steamy sex! This is my first read by Cee Smith and I look forward to reading more of her books.

It starts with a bang, and as the story progresses it keeps upping the ante. Indigo and Everett have an undeniable connection and chemistry. I do not want to give one single thing away, so read it and enjoy.

DNF at 40%. Annoying immature heroine stalking the hero, following him home, downloading his photos from the internet to her phone to stare at longingly all the time, etc. He has shown no interest in her at all. He also has no personality. Meh.
