Scott Turansky has been a pastor and missionary for more than 33 years and is an author of several books. In addition to pastoring full time, Scott also conducts parenting seminars on Saturdays around the United States (effectiveparenting.org). He is the cofounder of the National Center for Biblical Parenting (biblicalparenting.org) and has co-authored four books.

Read this to gear up for my growing kids. So far these little handbooks from the National Center for Biblical Parenting (I have read this one and the Preschool Adventurers) have been full of common sense, great ideas, and Biblical and sound teaching. I would recommend all of the title I have by Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller thus far as my "first pick" in parenting books.
