About the author

Terry Johnson was born and raised in Los Angeles. He studied history at the University of Southern California and also studied at Trinity College, Bristol, England, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, before earning his D. Min in 2008 from Erskine Theological Seminary.

A valuable appeal to continue embracing the five Reformation solas, rooted in biblical teaching and interacting with both sixteenth-century and contemporary voices. Some very helpful lines of application too (although I cannot agree with everything Johnson concludes under Soli Deo Gloria).

Pastor Terry Johnson presents a winsome and compelling apologia for the church to consciously embrace the distinctive "battle cries" of the Protestant Reformation. It is a reminder of the continuing relevance of the Reformation. Pastors, have your entire ministry staff read and discuss this book. Christian, read and revel in these glorious biblical realities.
