Lane Stone. I've always known who I am and what I wanted to be. Even as a child, with passion and determination as my driving force, my life was completely fulfilled. I have an amazing family, a career that makes me happy, and the no-commitment lifestyle every man craves. Then I met her. Her smile demands remembrance, and that body hasn't left my mind since it bumped mine in the hallway. Of course, I tried to resist, but how could I resist the only person to ever command my attention? But she is my student.
Mallory Carter. My life was the perfect example of a teenage dream. I had everything I could ever want and need, but one night everything changed and almost everything I loved was lost faster than I was able to say goodbye. Starting over wasn't going to be easy, but I resolved to turn my personal tragedy into my inspiration to be the best I could be. My plan never included the distractingly gorgeous and outrageously cocky Lane Stone, his draw is inevitable. But, this is wrong. He is my teacher.
When a love is forbidden and everything is at stake, how can two people fight what fate has planned?
This isn't the kinda book I generally pick up anymore because it has a lot of things going on that I don't enjoy. But, despite my annoyances with some of the characters actions I could not stop reading.
The drama, the angst, the asshole hero, the naive heroine and sometimes, barely passable writing - it drew me in and I surprisingly did enjoy this.
Would I recommend it? If you like drama and have no issues with OW scenes, then yes.
Ahhh, who doesn't like the FORBIDDEN? I sure as hell do and I loved every bit of this until how the "mom situation" played out. It just didn't work for me. Overall it was worth it. I absolutely the loved the alph~ness here.
I have been a fan of T Saint John ever since I 'accidently' came across her first book, Finding Stone. They say things happen for a reason and I believe it did. Omg, I found my first author crush. With each book this author just gets better and better, and she did not disappoint with Lane. Lane is another a-hole Stone man that you just have to love. There's always that sweet something that pulls you in. His story with Mallory doesn't start off with the best foundations but when love wants, love finds a way and things happen for a reason. T Saint John, you've stolen another piece of my heart. Dive in and enjoy this amazing book and prep yourself for what's to come.
If I could give this more then 5 stars I would! This book will grab you at the prologue and won't let go till the very last page! Made from Stone is by far my favorite read Mallory is a young lady at the age of 18. She and her sister are going through a rough spot in their lives. Then there is Lane the sexy Football Coach and a teacher to boot.
If you haven't already picked this up, you should!
Wow, another awesome book from an awesome author... I could not put it down. There were many twists and turns that I did not see coming. Thankfully the characters in this book realized what they need, what they have, and what they had before it became to late...
This book gave me the feels. Lane, had the no commitment lifestyle that all men want. But he meets Mallory and everything changes. Big time. I love how conflicted Lane was and how determined Malloey was.
Lane and Mallory have meet under some circumstances that mean they really could never have a relationship but something about this girl pulls Lane in. He knows having anything to do with her is wrong and she knows it too. Mallory has a past that has made her very fearful of getting close to people. She has a wall put up but when she meets Mr. Stone something draws her closer to him each day. Is there anyway these two can find a way to meet in middle and have any kind of a relationship or is it just too much to handle. Mallory doesn't know how to trust anyone or open up to anyone and well Lane is just a typical man who doesn't know what he wants with a woman. Does he want one to marry, just one to have when he wants her etc? Mallory needs to move on because she knows what she feel is impossible to act on. And Lane nows it more than Mallory does. Sometimes this book made me cry, it made me scream, it made me laugh and it made me want to reach in and choke Lane for not waking up at times and realizing what's right in front of him. There are things though that Mallory is hiding from Lane and the same for Lane hiding from Mallory and well when the truth comes out who is going to get hurt the worst? I can only say that I was amazed by the characters and they way they were written about in this book. I was amazed with the storyline in this book. This book took hold and would not let me stop until I had finished the entire book. I will not tell you the ins and outs from here because I don't want to give anything away but for me this is a book that I recommend as a read to anyone looking for a love story where two people don't even know love for themselves.
This was a fantastic book following up on this author's first three stories; Lane is the son of Dr. Noah Stone from book 1.
Lane is a high school teacher and sports coach when he first meets Mallory, a student in one of his classes. There was an instant attraction, with both Lane and Mallory being drawn to each other after their awkward bump into each other in the hallway.
"Mallory pushes buttons in me that I didn't know I had.".
"I'm praying that every other person in this room can't feel or see the sexual chemistry that is bouncing between Mallory and I because I sure as hell feel it."
"Better to get lost in the crowd that lost in his eyes."
"Keep fighting it babe, I'll wait."
This author certainly has a way with creative writing; her story lines are fresh and interesting and she take her readers on a suspenseful and exciting emotional ride.
The first book in a new series starts with Lane. I loved Lane. He can be a bit of an ass but I kinda liked that about him. He likes his life, he commits to what he wants, he loves his job and adores his family. Working as a history teacher and coach, the last thing he wants or needs is to be attracted to his student. Knowing that's a line he doesn't want to cross he's determined to keep his distance but there's just something about Mallory that keeps pulling him in. Mallory is a sweet, naive girl, she's a good student and has ambitions...none of which include bedding her teacher. I loved this book. I've read every book by this author and I love seeing how far she's come. The pull and push between Lane and Mallory kept me hooked, Lane is just enough of an ass to make me love him while still be likeable, the rest of the Stone clan make appearances and there's plenty of new characters to love. Another great book from T and I can't wait for more from this series.
Oh Emm gee! I absolutely loooved this book! I have loved all of T Saint John's books. But this book could possibly be her best book to date.
Lane is a high school teacher. Mallory is a high school senior. The story takes us on an adventure thru her graduation and then the beginning of their relationship. Mallory has to overcome incredibly unfortunate circumstances. Lane has to control his temper. Lol She's a firery red head. He's an in control sexy football coach.
I don't want to give anything away, but they have a sweet story that I truly enjoyed going on with them. I love the way the characters from the previous books are all involved! There are some intense moments and there were several times that I was chewing my nails.
Incredible book. Incredible author. Definitely a must read.
LOVEEEE it, I think because he comes from my favorite boy Noah,,,I was so happy to be able to get my hands on this book before release day,,This is about Lane one o Noah kids and as you know he is mine #1 on the Stone brothers, but never less i have a unique love for each one of them.Honestly i went blind into reading this book but i would read anything this author writes...so i was surprise when i starter reading this story,i had no idea where it was going but omg i love every minute of it.As always T.Saint john didn't disappoint. The story twisted and turned and held my attention from start to finish.Im looking forward to the book.
OMFG T Saint John has done it again. This book is amazing. Lane is like his father hot headed, stubborn but falls for a girl he shouldn't. Mallory is girl who has endured heartache, sorrow and at times feels alone. Then she meets Lane her world spins she becomes captivated by him. I loved this book as I thought a lot I knew where she was going with it but I didn't at all. This book had me gripped throughout. FYI girls Lane made me HOT I mean seriously HOT. Well done T Saint John on another awesome book. I can't wait for the next book now.
I received an ARC in return for an honest review. Oh my goodness, this author goes from strength to strength, this book is about a couple with blockages holding them back, but what I love about this authors books is her sense of family and the strong bond and unity of being a part of a family! You don't need to read the previous series but it does add to the excitement of catching up with old book friends!
Wow. What can I say? T Saint John did it again. Had me hooked From cover to finish. I couldn't put the book down. I loved everything about Lane and for mallory. I loved the way they behaved with each other and I love the story line. In fact I love every this about this author and have read all her work. I pine for her books and stop what I'm doing immediately and read her books when they arrive in my kindle. So so so glad I was recommended t Saint John last year. Cannot wait for more to come.
T.Saint John has done it again!!! One of the few books that I stayed up all night just to finish! And will definitely read again. The dynamics and fire between Lane and Mallory are out of this world! T. Saint John has quickly become one of my favorite authors! This book and the other Stone Brothers series will not disappoint! Add all to your must read list at once!!!
I was lucky to receive this before it was released, I have read all of T Saint John's books so far. I thought I feel in love with each of her previous men in her books but wow just wow Lane I love you so much
Wow what a read a hot teacher and a student romance has never been so fufilling mallory is a gorgeous woman who has dealt with some rough blows in life lane is the hot teacher and football coach
well I thoroughly enjoyed this book it makes a nice change from my usual dark romance reads .now I'm going to read about Molly and Maddox .should have read this book first lol
Lane and Mallory have this love hate relationship that everyone can relate to! T Saint John never fails to amaze and delight me! Now my only problem is having to wait on Gavin to be released!!! Fantastic job T!!!
I have to say that this is a really hard review for me to write. I have completely loved all of Ms. Saint John's books, but for some reason I didn't "love" this one. I enjoyed it, and I will continue to read all of her books, but I found a disconnection between the two main characters Lane & Mallory. I never got a feel for the coming together of the couple. They just seemed to co-exist to me, never solidifying there relationship until the epilogue.
I am rating this a 4 because while I didn't love it, I still really enjoyed it. I loved the different twists & I loved having all of the Stone family come around. I hope Amy, Mallory's sister ends up with her own book or ends up with one of the Stone boys. And I really hope that the next book is Gavin, T and I may have to have words if it isn't ;)
After the hero realizes he loves the heroine he intended to go out with his cousin to get laid because surly heroine couldn’t expect him to go without and since she’s not willing well I guess his love has nothing to do with it. Yes heroine had said she only wanted to be friends but he is planning on them having a future and is trying to convince her to give him another shot so I’m confused how that would have helped.

This is one of the best spinoff series! Lane started out as a cocky douche but you change your opinion of him when he really falls for Mallory. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I really liked the story, I just wasn't a fan of the writing style. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out to me in a way that my favorite author would stand out.
With the story one of the things that made me kind of like it was that she begins her senior year as an 18-year-old and nothing happens while she's a student. I wish that there had been fewer time jumps and more story, but I was still able to enjoy the book.
Do not read further if you do not want to be spoiled or do not like colorful language.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of this book is it's a complete train wreck. The whole thing is incredibly one dimensional from the plot to the characters. The main characters are obnoxious with Lane being a complete ass and Mallory being dumb as doorknobs. Every single scene is over the top with excessive dramatics on both sides with Lane constantly calling her a whore and Mallory whining about whatever she can. There's no real chemistry between the two and I can't find the romance "please fuck me and use me"/"get the eff out of my house now that I've done what you asked and never contact me again" which leads to a massive lack of communication and an"unexpected" pregnancy coming from a guy who says he will never fuck without a condom. Wrap it before you tap it, boys.

I've read all books from this author so naturally I wanted to read about Lane who is Dr Noah's son from finding stone. I didn't know what to expect, but so happy!! The feels! Lane is football coach and high school teacher. Mallory is a high school student. And at first that thought put me off. The author does a great job of not making it feel dirty or wrong. By the time it happened I cheered. Now I'm waiting on gavin.
I loved this book. The visual the author gave of the characters was awesome. Lane is your typical alpha male. Mallory has suffered a terrible loss. When the chemistry between them comes to a head.. Wow!
The attraction between Mallory and Lane was instant the moment they laid eyes on one another. I put off reading this book for over two years and I'm so happy I finally got around to reading it. Amazing story and I recommend it to everyone.
This was not very good imo. The writing wasn’t bad but the story telling itself was lacking to say the least. It’s skips around like crazy. Told in dual POV, but each “chapter” is a page maybe 2 long. There is no character building, no relationship building. Frankly the characters themselves are also lacking. I’m really bummed this was so bad because the theme itself is something I was really looking forward to reading.
