The Alien's Truth

Rate this book
The threat of the Covra gone, the Denynso are trying to help the Light Ones pick up the pieces and move forward. As Lynx spends more time with Rain he realizes that as deeply as he loves her, he doesn't really know much about her. Together they decide that it is time that they all talk about what happened and try to understand how this situation came to be.

As they are gathering in the meeting hall with everyone else now in the settlement, two of their number are missing. No longer deeply involved in a research project, Ivy has had the chance to explore the settlement and during her time alone she has discovered Maxim, the most beautiful of the beautiful men who came from the other kingdom. While the others gather together for a meeting, Ivy and Maxim roam to the outer reaches of the settlement and then out onto the plains of Uoria.

What happens in both places will change everything and within just days they will all know far more about each other, and learn that the threats they thought were gone may be just beginning.

#1 up-and-coming Author in Fantasy Romance!

Ruth Anne Scott was born and raised in the Shire of Middle America (otherwise known as Telluride, CO) and spend her childhood hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the wilderness around. As a young dreamer and creator her favorite pastime was and still is to sit on the moss covered banks of San Miguel river to write and create her fantasy worlds.

As a postgraduate she spent much of her adult life working at Amnesty International, doing research into women's rights abuses around the world. Ruth continued to write fantasy as a means to escape the harsh realities of the world around her.

This is the reason Ruth likes to incorporate strong and savvy women in her fantasy works.

The boring part: Now a full time author and artist, Ruth can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and can be found at the local coffee shops. :)

THE ALIEN'S TRUTH(Uoria Mates, II #9 by Ruth Anne Scott

With the Covra eliminated, the Dennyso and the Light Ones come together for a meeting. They want to pick up the pieces and move forward but deciding where to go is a big decision, they don't know this world and they don't know their worlds anymore either.

When Ivy and Maxim meet it seems they were fated to be together. When they decide go exploring, not only the outer reaches of the settlement but also each other, they get more they bargained for. They make a discovery, but not all discoveries are good.

Again, another fantastic read. A very clever, imaginative storyline. This story is coming together nicely now, all the pieces are falling into place. There is never a dull moment, there's always some excitement going on to keep you looking forward to the next book. And in this story, it's about Ivy and Maxim, and I really do hope it works out for them. A very enjoyable and exciting read!

I am trying to figure out how a penis inside you is massaging and nurturing. Well I get the massaging part........ but nurturing?!?!?! WTF? I sure hope the last book doesn't disappoint the characters are all starting to sound the same.... kinda sniveling, naive and dumb founded. I find it hard to believe that all these people live on a planet that no one ever has explored beyond their own walls or even that no one has used any kind of technology to scan the planet.... instead they just go on a walkabout and I even imagined them singing Hi ho Hi Ho......... Although I'm not sure why....................... I'm off to read book 10

It's time to try and put the puzzle pieces together. How did the "light ones" get there? And the others when did they arrive? Now, the question is how do they all fit together and where do they go from here? Will the light ones stay and rebuild? Return with the warriors? Return to Earth?

This book has some serious twists in it, that really bring the entire series to a complete circle. It is a great read and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book.
