Three years have passed since Jack Hunter bonded a Nassai and changed the course of our planet's history.

He thought he was joining a noble order of knights who protected humankind, but when a terrorist threatens to fracture the delicate alliance between Earth and Leyria, Jack finds himself neck-deep in a world of subtlety and scandal. Distinguishing friend from foe may be the most difficult test he has ever faced.

Three people are dead, each killed with advanced alien technology. Jack and Harry must team up to find the perpetrator before he sets off a panic that could destroy the fragile peace between planets. Meanwhile, Anna investigates a smuggling ring on one of the outer colonies, trying to find out who's been funneling deadly alien weapons to Earth.

Allegiances will change and conspiracies will be unmasked in Friction, the second book of the Justice Keepers Saga.

I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario where I attended Saltfleet High School and McMaster University. I've spent most of my life fighting for the little guy in one form or another, advocating for the poor, for environmental sustainability, for minority rights.

Throughout my twenties, I wrote about five novels and threw them all out because they weren't very good. But I improved and honed my skills with each new manuscript. About two years ago, I had an offer from a traditional publishing house, but I chose to go indie instead. Writing is my passion; if I could dedicate myself to one thing, it would be bringing the ideas in my head to life.

This is a book crafted with many fight scenes, a great deal of intrigue, a lot of by-play between the principal characters, a well built plot and conclusion. It is a fast reading story which will keep your interest. The characters are built from a composite of humans and symbionts called nassai and continue from the first book in the series. Some of them are called Keepers and they are essential the Leyrian equivalent of police as I understand it. The characters are well described and brought to life by the author. The story revolves around the relationship between humans from the planet Leyria and the planet Earth. I will not tell you more because to do so would spoil the story for you. If you are engaged by and love a good action novel this one is for you. I hope you enjoy as I did.

frustrating, but keeps you turning the page

I was so glad that Harry was not murdered bye Leo, just as glad that Jack was not cornered into killing Leo.
I’m starting to think Slade is and never was a real Justice Keeper if he had been then he was turned fresh after his bonding. I’m interested in what he’s upto next. He’s one cold fish.

No one proof read this episode!

Granted, this ebook edition only cost $3.00, but with the incredible number of mistakes in grammar and spelling you'd think someone should have used their software better. Book 1 drew me in. Book 2 was too distracting. It was not ready for publication.
