Wrong advice on so many levels

Sugar releases insulin, which is bad for diabetics, the recipes add sugar and flour, very bad advice, why add sugar to fruits, they are sweet enough and should only be eaten in small quantities, if at all.

I've just re-read this as I was looking for some information, sadly didn't find it.

It was alright, there was a lot of information about what foods were helpful in lowering blood sugars, yet I can't say I was that impressed but I did learn of a few I wasn't aware of. There were a few niggles, I did expect many more recipes rather than the handful given, as most diabetics are not only looking at what they can eat but how they can eat it, ie what helpful recipes you can cook with this newly discovered range of foods you now have at your fingertips. Was not impressed in one of the few recipes which didn't say how many it fed yet stated this easy breakfast dish needed just 12 eggs!!! Even if that fed 2 people then that was an eye-watering number of eggs!! There are more books on diabetes out there, that's all I'm saying!
