It is amazing. Although Mother Nature was very stingy in allocating the islands of Malta their surface area, the archipelago repaid this tight-fistedness with a contribution that is a thousand times larger than its size. Locked inside its miserable landmass, an area that is much tinier than London, Malta was on the World's headlines on numerous occasions in its military history. Caged within its claustrophobic dimensions the Maltese islands are braided with prehistoric buildings that are older than Stonehenge and the pyramids. Not only the massive structures have a story to tell but almost every inlet of the Harbour Island possesses a forgotten anecdote...
