Nobody except us knows that I'm pregnant but I won't be able to keep it a secret forever. Ryan When I found out that Aaliyah was pregnant with my baby, I knew that there was only one thing I wanted: the baby -- MY baby that she's carrying. I'll be damned if she thinks I'll have anything but that. She might not realize it now, but we're going to be one big happy family.
Aaliyah I know that he wants me to keep this baby, but there's no way I'll be the laughing stock of the town. I have no intention of being a single mom while he's hundreds of miles away. He can't control me. I'm stronger than that...until he comes back home. When he's in town, I'm willing to do almost anything he wants. How does a girl say no to the hometown hero? The man who every woman idolizes, the one who's mine.
Baby in the Military is a full-length BWWM romance novel. It contains no cheating and no cliffhangers. Happily ever after? You'll have to read to find out!
Vivian Ward is a romance author from St. Louis, Missouri. She pens dark and dirty stories about alpha heroes and strong heroines with emotional HEAs. Vivian is happily married to her real-life Prince Charming who is also her best friend. One of her guilty pleasures is reading and writing smut while indulging in chocolate caramel candies.
I wanted to like this story; but I got about 20% in and I just couldn't anymore. Maybe it was because I was a single mom that I couldn't take her stance on her situation. It was a hard life; but I have two beautiful daughters out of it. It just seemed to me that there was a serious lack of communication on both of their parts as well as maturity and I simply couldn't finish reading this story.
A hero I loved + a heroin that worked my nerves = tense but perfect read.
Mrs. Ward introduced me to a heroin Aliyah who made me want to strangle her thoughts this read . With that being said I received an ARC from the author for my honest opinion. However the hero Ryan is all that. He is loving, patient, kind and the strength of his love bring s that crazy Liyah to her senses. These two are perfect for one another through the obstacles and trials. I could not just give this review without supporting the other, I purchased the book for my kindle librarybecause that is what you when it's a great read.
This book would have been a lot better if the heroine wasn't selfish and open in her relationship. All her decisions were based on her needs and her feelings. I do believe there was another person in the relationship with her. I get her body, her decision but if she's going to have a baby, shouldn't the father be allowed the option of raising his baby? I was annoyed with her.
Baby in the Military ( A BWWM Pregnancy Romance) is a very good interracial romance novel that earned a rating of five stars. I enjoyed reading this book about Aaliyah and her military sweetheart. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romance novels.
I thought this book was okay. I thought she was a bit selfish with her decisions and i know it's something so small and stupid but I absolutely hated the constant use of "bae". Not my favorite word. But overall I did like the story as a whole.
This was not one of my favorite books by this author, but I found it to be "okay". I didn't really like the heroine; although, the hero was a freakin' saint.
