These are some crazy short, little sexy stories. Probably no more than 30 pages each. Some of them involve some serious kink, most of which don't do much for me. But even so, they were still pretty interesting. And this author does more than smut, she tries to add some philosophical or emotional twist to each story.
You Already Know - About a store clerk who ends up in a sexual relationship with a bruiser of a guy who she catches beating up one of the employees. Mismatched, but she can’t help falling in love with him - but he already knows.
Four for the Seesaw - A somewhat angsty story about a couple who end up swapping each other with another couple, thinking the grass is greener on the other side. They discover that it’s better when they’re together. (This one definitely works with the notion that you can love someone and still enjoy sex with someone else and had me wanting another page or two to know that they’d found an HEA or something).
I Have You - A sort of sad, but hopeful story about a couple, particularly the woman, healing and rediscovering each other after the death of their daughter.
Don’t I - Not my favorite, but this one’s about a woman who had to prostitute herself just once for a mortage and with her new client discovered she has a taste for domination and humiliating men.
Heavenly Shades - This is so not a happy story. It’s about a woman who is found and trapped by a vampire who comes to her repeatedly to feed from her. She decides to seduce him with unexpected (and confusing at least for me) results.
I Am - Short and really not much happening, but it’s about a couple who try some sort of abstinence thing to prep themselves for a D/S relationship.
New Dress - One flatmate accidentally discovers the masochistic desires of the other and explores her sadistic side, likening it to a new dress.
Dancing on the Edge - About a woman whose co-worker propositions her while they’re at the bar and after some really hot sex realizes that she hadn’t realized he’d been flirting with her for months.
Heat - Two people on a yacht. The woman’s POV about a super sexy guy coming onto her and having sex with her and believing it’s out of contempt, when it isn’t.
Thief - A woman develops a weekly habit of watching her flatmate masturbate before she finally gets caught and then realizes it's more fun to participate.
Oppositeland - About a woman who gives her husband the domination he wants and needs - likened to oppositeland because she fucks him.
Falling - Lydia believes she’s about to become a fallen woman, becoming Harrow’s mistress, but realizes she’s fallen in a different way - in love.
