It’s not easy being a badass Zombie killer. But somebody’s got to do it.
Page Parker grew up in the aftermath of the Zombie Apocalypse. She grew up running from Zombies and fighting against the constant threat of death and disease. She knows what it’s like to suffer, to go hungry, to hurt… to lose loved ones.
But Page isn’t a little girl anymore.
And she’s no longer satisfied with the quaint life her family has carved out in their remote research station. She craves conflict. She demands retribution. She will stop at nothing until she has her revenge.
Matthias Allen is responsible for her older brother’s death. For her family’s banishment from the former United States. He’s killed, he’s tortured and now he runs his Colony with all the cruel brutality of an evil tyrant.
Someone needs to make him pay for his sins.
And since she was nine-years-old, Page has believed that person to be her.
She’ll just have to convince her family to leave their home, travel the length of South America and take on a psychotic dictator first.

Rachel Higginson is the best-selling author of The Five Stages of Falling in Love, Every Wrong Reason, Bet on Us and The Star-Crossed Series.
She was born and raised in Nebraska, and spent her college years traveling the world. She fell in love with Eastern Europe, Paris, Indian Food and the beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka, but came back home to marry her high school sweetheart. Now she spends her days writing stories and raising five amazing kids.
I remember very well, a while back, Higginson asking me what I thought about a series with Page as the main character. Did I think it would be something the readers would want? I remember thinking heck yeah!! We have been with Page for so long now that how could we not want her story. Especially with all that she has been through. There is so much that could come from this sweet and lovable girl.
Years of zombie killings and running from inhuman creatures have that little girl as a forgotten memory. Now Page is 18 and has grown into a woman. A badass, zombie fighting woman. A woman who leaps without fear and without thinking of the consequences if she knows that someone she loves may be in trouble. This is the girl the Parkers raised. This is the woman she turned out to be. Fierce and protective. Yet, still sweet and full of love.
The Parkers are settled and raising their families in comfort and safety. Well, as much comfort and safety as you can surrounded by zombies all while searching for a cure. But Page has dreams. She would like to return to what remains of the United States and finish Matthias once and for all. She would like to give her old home a chance to flourish without having to cower to a tyrant. And she just may get her chance. As long as she can convince everyone in her family.
Four fabulous episodes full of zombies and mayhem. Full of romance and evil. Four episodes that will have you loving Page even more than before. 5 Stars!
Now we're 10 years after the guys arrive in Columbia and it's Pages turn to tell her story now 18 we experience how she sees things remembering that she was 6 when the Infection hit, were heading back to America and another crazy ride
I like how the author changed it up....and how the younger characters are now the main part of the story....but I wish there we r more battle scenes in this story. Still a good book.
I love this series. Is it the best writing, technically? No. However, the storyline and characters make up for what it’s lacking on the technical side. The original series, Love and Decay, is better, but this is still a great spin-off in its own right.
I received an ARC of this collection in exchange for a honest review over on my blog Pretty Little Book Blog.
Putting the jam packed first four episodes in this box set is a dream come true for those readers who cannot take the wait in between episodes and like to wait to have a few episodes to binge on all at one time. Personally I can go either way on this one in my Love and Decay collections of the previous seasons it's a mix of single episodes and Then I still end up purchasing the season box sets as well. (typically I leave the single episodes on my Kindle where there is more storage space and I keep the box sets on my phone so I can have my Love and Decay fix while I'm on the go!)
This season is great for those new to the series and diehard fans alike! Those new to the series do not have to have extensive knowledge of the previous 3 seasons and everything from the past is explained. But I like how concise Rachel is about giving the information and not taking up too much of the story rehashing the past instead of giving a new section of the storyline for us who have devoured the 3 seasons before this one.
Our favorite comdic moments are present as well as the love stories (because it wouldn't be Love And Decay without some angsty insta love stories) the family before all creed is also in full effect and even though this world is all that Page knows we see her family reminding her of how things used to be and what they all hope will be once again -- at least to a point. They fight every day to just have a safe place to call home and raise their families and to be able to secure enough food and supplies for everyone to be healthy and happy.
All the first four episodes of this series in one boxset - what a great reading gift. This series is full of post-zombie apocalypse madness. There is intense moments, serious romance and very intense suspense. I love this series and to get it all in one place is such a great read. You must get this and enjoy it as much as i did. The characters and experiences stay with you long after you are finished.
Loving this series. Fast paced, well drawn main characters, good action and drama balanced with humor. What would you miss the most if you survived the apocalypse? Interesting and thought provoking. Love the travels of this group and seeing how they work together to overcome obstacles. Highly recommended d to any age group that loves zombie fiction; no only for younger readers.
The first few episodes of the new season...Page is growing up and the family has gotten bigger over the years. Bad things are coming to their happy home down south and it is time for change...for a revolution to happen. Follow your favorites and meet some new ones as the group makes their way back north to the US to right the wrong they left behind...Mr Allen.
I like the progress especially the view of the next generation outlook. There will be some awesome additions and I just knew Hendrix and Nelson couldn't stay away. King's POV was refreshing and I can't wait to see more. Page is going to be the one to watch out for and I canvassing to see what happens next.
Page just doesn't have the same oomph that Regan had. The books are slow and lack the edge of the seat excitement of the previous love and decay series.
