NO. No! Bad author! Stop that this minute!

First we meet an alien named Berander, I guess his purpose is to give us the background for this whole series. He explains he parades around as whatever alien species he needs to be to scout out females to use for brides. He does this by banging them, and sending medical robots through their vaginas to see if they fit the criteria. We are treated to the whole graphic shebang with some random woman we'll never hear from again. Next we meet the h, Jennifer. She goes out with him twice, then gets banged and probed by him in graphic detail as well. Next she's drugged, wakes on a ship, had her appearance and physiology changed, without true consent. They explain she's going to another planet to marry a guy, and it's totally okay because they predicted her life on earth and the one they are giving will be better.

"We can offer you a much better alternative. Come, now. We wouldn’t have chosen you if you didn’t read quite so much science fiction.” My jaw dropped. “You know about that?”“Of course,” the voice informed me. “We have all of your library records from the first time that you even got a card.” I was quiet. I looked at my hands, larger and perfectly formed. “Okay, I guess,” I sulked. “I can try it out.”

Really? Really? I can completely get where she's coming from, I read sci-fi, so I guess I'd be chill with everything. Not.

We don't meet her real love interest until 49%. That's where I stopped. In my opinion there is nothing that can redeem a book that far in when you've had multiple sexual encounters unrelated to the two main characters, and complete lapse in logic and reasonable reactions from some one that was freaking ABDUCTED, and was forced to have 'improvements' performed on their person.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review

Stars: 2.5

Overall: Jennifer is trying to do something different with her life and agrees to go on a date that her friend set up. She instantly hits it off with the guy Brandon and agrees to go out with him again. The second time around she awakes in a ship that changes her body to live on another planet. When she lands on the new planet, she meets a very hot alien, but is conflicted if she wants to stay there or go back to Earth. In the end she gets a unexpected surprise and lives HEA.

Pros: I really liked the idea of this story and the characters were fun to read about.

Cons: Ok, lets get honest here. I really wanted to LOVE this book because there are some great ideas, but I felt that the book was all over the place and there wasn't enough information or time for the characters to develop like they should've. I feel that the author should go back to this book and give it a second chance because their is SO MUCH potential.

Characters: Quy and Jennifer.

This is my first book by Taylor Neptune. I didn't give it 5 stars only because if felt like there should have a tad bit more information in there about Quy and the Yuenanren. Other than that, I have to say that the book was pretty exceptional. I have a passion for alien romance books and this one though not great still captured my interest. The author has the main character on a blind date with a guy from the internet. Even though he is trying to act human there are certain things he says that lets you know he is alien. But your interest is piqued when he mentions all the science fiction books Jennifer reads and mentions the fact she has no family and friends. So you know he is up to something. Plus the author takes a different twist on getting the female ready to be introduced to the alien she will mate with. You are definitely going to have to read it. I would say that this is a book that would be enjoyed by anybody 18 and up. I would recommend it.

Jennifer Samson is young woman who is working two jobs in order to afford rent, food, and student loan payments. She has no family, few friends if any, and has had no dates in what seems like ages. She does a blind date with Brandon Anderson, but when she goes on the 2nd date and after awesome sex all things go haywire. She has been kidnapped by the Intergalactic Federation, through Kandalph Space Marines, Inc.,who has been bringing humans from Earth as potential mates to keep the Yuenanren from dying out entirely, and Jennifer is one of those women.

Quy Vuong is seven feet tall, with skin the color of honey. He is a warrior, with rippling muscles and ink black hair and he is a Yuenanren. The Yuenanren are a race who have have few females among them and their race is on the verge of dying out..

Not going to tell you anything else about the book....Your going to have to read it. ARC free book for honest review.

An enjoyable story with a great heat factor! Jennifer is abducted by a man she met on a dating site and wakes up to a whole new set of experiences. She is saved by a hot alien that does everything he can to protect her. It is a fast paced story with great characters! I would love to have more about this couple and this planet of tall hot aliens!

This was a quick read and has a happy ending. I bit choppy and rushed in the beginning; however I liked where the story-line is headed. I liked the characters and can see more books in the series. Good start in the series. Looking forward to some more.

Hmm…

I found the business of abducting females, enhancing them and then dropping them off willy nilly on an alien planet for any alien to come across to be completely unique. Unique but dangerous, how did the Corporation know the female would land in a safe place? It was the easy way the alien Brandon was able to pick up women that got me. How stupid could a female be?The probing process was also weird but original in my opinion. But I was still into the story until Jennifer and Quoy met. It was all too easy, they needed more conflict or something. I couldn’t give it 5 stars for that reason.

This was kind of different than other alien romance books, where there is a group of aliens who come down to Earth to find potential brides for other aliens, and then kidnap them and the human ends up with a totally different alien. It's short, which is fine, but that leads to insta-love between the human (Jennifer) and the alien (Quy) which doesn't make for much plot after they end up meeting. I don't know that I'd read others in the series, but since theoretically it's different aliens and different humans each time, I might try out one more to see if the plot line has more to it.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and this is a fantastic alien sci-fi romance with Mina and Ren, I loved the characters, the descriptions and the storyline. Mina has visions she saw blood and death but no one believed her and when Ren and the other warriors invaded the temple Ren helped some of the maidens escape but he knew that Mina was special and his mate. Fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Good

This story had really great potential but it came across as disjointed with each step being rushed so you really spent very little time getting to know each character It was good it had the potential to be a great story

A big DNF for me. I’ve read other stories from this author (not in this series) and she covers the consent and logistics well. This was not well considered to make the reader connect with the aliens and find them anything but scummy.

I love Alien Romance books so of course this was right up my alley. Our H is Quy Vuong and our h is Jennifer Samson.

At the beginning of the book we meet Jennifer Samson. She is a young woman that works 2 jobs just trying to make ends meet. She is an introvert and wasn't really looking to change that. She agrees to go on a date with a man named Brandon Anderson. The first blind date, things go well. He is nice looking and well mannered, not what she thought she would get. She doesn't sleep with him but they plan to meet up for a 2nd date. After the 2nd date, Jennifer sleeps with Brandon and then wakes up on a spaceship with her body being changed to adapt better on another planet. Turns out Brandon is a member of the Kandalph Space Marines, Inc., and had kidnapped Jennifer to be a mates to keep the Yuenanren (A race that is dying out without having many women).

Quy is Yuenanren and an outcast. He has a scar on his face from a fight and has been banned. He is instantly attracted to Jennifer but its not just sexual. He wants to care for and protect her also. What is Quy to do when Jennifer gets in touch with Brandon and wants to go home?

This is my first book by this author and it was a really great start for me. I didn't hate the h (which has been happening to me a lot lately) and I really loved Quy. The bonus was there were Dual POV which I absolutely love. My only complaint, I wish it was longer.

Seemed like a highly abridged version of a short

This book seemed like it had the potential of being a decent story, however it came acrossed to me as an overly abridged version to the point that while the reader understood the names, places and dates there was an affect effect of no depth to character or story. A story needs to convince the audience of the characters' worth or emotion. I felt none. There is little of any backstory, which while not rrequired does go into helping us to build insight into characters and the overall worldbuilding. He has scars, lives alone, is damaged and not worthy. That is basically it. Seems like a nice guy is attractive, okay I am in love, so despite being kidnapped across to another planet and attacked by flowers I'll have his baby because I am in love? There is zero believability there for me. I was really hoping it would get better, and perhaps if the author expounded on the story to provide a lot more background and story details it might get to be a decent read.

I received an arc in exchange for a honest review. This was a different take on alien abducted romance. There was things I liked and didnt like. In the beginning Jennifer meet Brandon on the Internet and they go out on a date which went well but she didn't sleep with him even though he tried the meet up the next night and do sleep together then he drugs her. When she wakes up she in a space ship and he looks different so she knows he's an alien. There a machine that changes her appearance and insides to best fit a new planet. She then meet Quy and youll have to read the bookfor the ending. But I didn't like that she slept with Brandon and didn't end up with him, I understand its there way to get information on the person before there abducted but I didn't like it cause shd going to end up with another. Second thing why does her outward appearance need changing. Nevertheless its still a great book with definite room to get better. I would definitely read another book in this series.

Fairly bland but quick and light read. I thought the lead up to her arrival on the planet was interesting but once she got there and met Quy it became very choppy and robotic. I never really got a sense for either character or any motivation for her to fall in love with him. There was an obviously dramatic event in Quy's past that is alluded twice to and then never revealed. For those who don't care for it, there is a pregnancy complete with birth (and a pregnant sex scene) and it's a major component of the book not just a glancing mention. The sex is quite sexy and there are a number of scenes. It was the author's first sci-fi book so I'm not sure if her writing or world building becomes more fluid in later entries in the series. The blurbs sound good so I may try one more.

ARC from author for honest review. 2.5 Stars
Meet Jennifer, a young woman that is taken from Earth by an alien and dropped off on an unknown planet. Enter Quy, the alien that found and claimed Jennifer as his own despite the language barrier. One thing leads to another on a cold night and Jennifer decides to stay with Quy instead of going home back to Earth.
This is a paranormal romance that has a good story but the writing was too choppy for me. It kind of took away some of the fluidity of the story and made it harder to keep my interest.

What a sweet little alien love story by Taylor Neptune

Starts off with her meeting, then abduction and enhancement while in transit to her final destination where she meets a scared, outcast who is sweet and protective. No cliffhangers and even though it was a quick read,I enjoyed the characters interactions and heartwarming, sensitive and steamy scenes. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND YOU PICK UP THIS SERIES AND CHECK OUT HER SWEET ALIEN WARRIOR'S BRIDES SERIES! I'm on to the next addition to this series.

While grammatically I ha no real complaints I did have. Problem with the quickness of the romantic plot. The main character, Jennifer, is on a new planet one day, wants to leave, and by the next afternoon is madly in love with Quy. I wanted more development than that. However, I will give other books from this series a break as they are longer and may have what this one lacked.

Umm what?!?!

This girl gets tested and abducted and ..... I thought this book was so way out there I wanted to slap myself. Who cares if she has a better body I mean the guy abducted you. When she is left stranded on a planet you don't call the guy who left you stranded to ask them to take you back. Wth?!?!

Do not even bother to read this. The plot is okay, if there is one. But other that it's worth your time. This is a book that will stop you from reading all books in this category.
Just skip this book.

Idea good, execution bad

I appreciate the story concept but the dialogue, character, and conflict all are extremely lacking in this effort. I will not continue this series. I don't recommend this author.
