Minecraft is a collection of 50 children’s adventures by Billy Miner. In Diary of a Villager and his Pig, Marcus Evolius, a disgruntled worker who is always dirty, dislikes tending his uncle’s pigs and lets the muddy animals know how he feels. Imagine his surprise when one of them retaliates with a snappy response. Minecraft Zombies are increasing in numbers and John and Jane will do anything to avoid these monsters. This is difficult until they meet an unusual zombie, but can he be trusted?

You will read about ninjas who help a poor village that was robbed, gothic Nurse Nyx who can teleport herself, a bored horse named Indy who craves a little adventure, witches and cute bunnies, and even go on a treasure hunt.

Billy Miner has compiled a collection of 50 unofficial Minecraft books. These cleverly written children’s adventures were created from the Minecraft game. I thought they were delightful to read, even though there were a few thrillers like the zombie story. Other stories were funny or brought out emotive moods from me. The author wanted to inspire readers with his witty themes and even included a few twists that you will like.

The assorted characters will keep you smiling at their antics and wry humour. Children will also learn from these stories that good always triumphs over evil. Billy Miner’s Minecraft: 50 Unofficial Minecraft Books in 1 includes a bonus of 25 drawings that you can download and colour. This book is highly recommended.

We received this book give an honest review.
This review is only for part of the book we stopped reading after a while.
What we did read it seemed like there is some adventure there and that is good. You don't want to read a boring book that has no adventure.
So I knew K would have to enjoy this book because it deals with Minecraft. We got about 200 or so pages into it I can't tell you exactly the number of pages because there are no page numbers, but K started losing interest. I think because the chapters were long and it wasn't really keeping him engaged.
I think the author would probably do better at maybe breaking the book up into small chapter books. That way you don't get the feeling of being overwhelmed by so many stories.
I think that those that enjoy Minecraft might actually really love the book and the many stories within it. For us the main thing was that it was too long to sit and read with my 10 year old.
The reason I gave it three stars and not two like I planned because I do see potential with this book.

Fans of Minecraft will find the stories in Minecraft: 50 Unofficial Minecraft Books in 1 by Billy Miner entertaining and instructive. Each story, using Minecraft—or Minecraft-like—characters, has an underlying moral that younger readers can benefit from while they’re being entertained. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review.
Since I’m not a gamer I looked at the stories from a literary standpoint. As I said above, they are entertaining and contain moral lessons of value. From an editorial viewpoint, though, they need a bit more editing. In several places words were missing from sentences, causing me to have to pause to fully understand the meaning of the sentence, and in one story, the speech tags changed from ‘says’ to ‘said’ mid-story. The narrative is a bit choppy in some of the stories as well.
Having said that, this is still a book that I’m sure young readers will enjoy. I give the author high marks for effort, but three and a half stars for execution, which on Amazon, which only allows full star ratings, amounts to four stars.

**4.5 Stars!**

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I enjoyed 50 Unofficial Minecraft Books in 1 very much and I liked that i was 50 Minecraft books in one. The many different stories added a variety to my perspective on Minecraft and the time era. This all in one book gave me a ton of new building ideas to use in my worlds.

I like the characters in these books. They are so much like me in many ways. For example, I like building awesome structures in Minecraft and Steve likes it too. The storyline was a little confusing for me to understand at times, but it was still a great story that makes for good gaming.

I would like to give 50 Unofficial Minecraft Books in 1 4.5 stars!

**This review was done by my 14-year-old son. When it was sent to us for review I knew he'd want to read it and the fact he had to give me a written review didn't deter him. ~Jennifer

50 short stories all revolving around Minecraft, the online game. Cool!

“The only way to save yourself is to lose yourself.” (16)

Tales are a compilation of courage and adventure. You have kings and queens, goblins, and zombies. Good for teens as the language was simple and relatable. Author has a witty and crafty knack. I felt that a few stories could’ve expanded with further detail and some were too outrageous even for fantasy, but, all in all, they’re pretty good. You almost feel like you’re trapped in a Super Mario World and your task is to fight the dragon and save the princess. Great for those fantasy fiction and gamer aficionados.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILER:

You can really tell how hard the author worked on this book. It is a great read for Minecraft fans!

My favorite story is the very first one called "Just a Pig" because I thought it is funny and the author made me want to read more!

I don't have a favorite character in any of the 50 stories because I think that all of them are quite exceptional.
