I have figured out a new way to determine if a book is good. When your husband asks if you’re ready to watch a movie and you growl at him because you don’t want to stop reading, then it’s a good book. And last night while reading Cowboy Town, I growled. Actually growled! And then I finished my book while he shook his head and went off to do man stuff.
Cowboy Town was sweet and sexy. I giggled over Eden’s frustrations with Matt and my heart broke for her when his douchbaggery was revealed. I found her character to be very brave for leaving and venturing on her adventure. Sometimes the easiest way to find yourself is to get lost. Eden was found when she landed in Pine Creek. And everyone should have a best friend like Jules.
The town is full of characters. Doreen the local pub owner was so easy to like. She welcomed Eden and had her settled in no time. And Skip. You gotta love an old man like Skip. Every small town has a Skip. He’s in and out of the pub every day and always has a kind word for Eden. Eden feels as home in Pine Creek and who wouldn’t when everyone is so kind and welcoming.
And then there’s the annoyingly sexy cowboy, Jackson. When he told Eden, “So you can mark my words when I say that by the end of this I’m gonna know your name, and everything else there is to know about you.” I totally swooned and melted in my chair. I was sold and I watched the events play out with a smile on my face.
Kasey Millstead has a cool writing style that feels very natural and real. The characters, the town, the progression of the story, even the romance just flows without forced transitions or confusion. The sex scenes were well written and very steamy. I wasn’t expecting such steamy sex scenes in such a sweet story, but Mrs. Millstead put me in my place and showed me that even the sweetest cowboys can make you squirm in your seat and set your girly parts all a tingling.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I will be watching for the next in the series, Sky Cowboy. An excerpt can be found at the end of Cowboy Town. It will be Ava and Jeremy’s story. There’s some history there that was only hinted at in this book, so I am intrigued. Hopefully Jackson’s brother can make me squirm, too!

I love reading novels that are set in Australia and New Zealand. So when I came across this novel I quickly tapped "Buy Now" and dove right in. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be a great read for me at all. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. Half-way thru I started skimming the pages quickly to end my misery. I actually wanted to throw in the towel, but for whatever reason I just kept with it. I really did not like anything about this novel except that it took place in Australia. While the synopsis was intriguing, the execution of it was terrible. The story was not only predictable, it was quite mundane and lifeless. The way it was presented, moved along, all of it felt robotic. (I hope I'm making sense.) Though formulaic, it felt like the author presented a story in stages. First this happens, next this will take place, then we'll do this next, etc. etc. etc.; then grabbed all the pieces putting them together, and calling it a novel. The dialogue itself was so ridiculous at times. Every time the heroine met someone new, the "hello" was quickly followed by her life story, how she ended up where she did. As for the protagonists? Both the H/h and all the secondary characters lacked any kind of substance, or depth. There was nothing special about any of them. I didn't feel any connection between the H/h. No heat, passion, or chemistry. Absolutely nothing. I most definitely will not be continuing with this series.

***FOUR STARS***
Not too shabby of a little romance story. The story sucked me right in from the very beginning with Edie walking in on her douche boyfriend having sex with another woman, and the story took off from there. Love how Eden just packed her shit and drove out of town, never looking back at that asshole she was leaving behind. Jackson was such a yummy character, who couldn’t fall head over heels with him? I enjoyed every second of him chasing Eden until she finally gave in and he truly caught her. And I adored the drama with both of their evil exes towards the ending. This story was an absolutely entertaining way to enjoy my evening!

I received an ARC copy of this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
Where to start with this one. I was 2 pages in when I decided that I loved this book. The scene between Edie and Matt in those first few pages had me like ‘Oh yeah I’m feeling your frustration’. We’ve all been there, we’ve all put up with it and then we’ve all moved on to bigger and better and never looked back. Funny stuff.
I love the way that Kasey has written the book. It’s quite rare to find a book written in this style but when you do, you know you have found a good ‘un.
With this book you’re brought into it. You become part of the story instead of the interloper on someone elses’ story. The book interacts with you and this along with the humour makes you not want to put it down. I may or may not have been late for work this morning because the first thing I did when I opened my eyes was reach for my Kindle.
Kasey has had me laughing, crying and on the edge of my seat. I found myself with a stupid smile on my face most of the way through this book. I’m sure I looked like a right nutter walking down the street, staring at my phone (Kindle APP), with this huge goofy grin and occasional giggle popping out of me………
The book is real, real language, real situations. Just plain real! The one-liners in the book were class.
The plot was well thought out and although this is Jackson and Edie’s story the foundation has been laid well for further books in the series.
The characters are fun! I love that they remind me of me and my friends, the phrases that are used, the attitude that is shown. I could have been down the pub shooting the breeze with them. If there is one book you read this summer then I strongly suggest that this is it!
Jackson may or may not be my new book boyfriend………

This was a difficult book for me to rate, it was a 2 star for most of it, but the ending was nice so gave it a 3 star.
There was too many things that annoyed me. When I read a book if the character doesn't make a good first impression they rarely make me change my mind. Edie made a bad first impression cause she's with a guy who clearly doesn't care for her but she's been in a relationship with him for three years! It takes him cheating on her for her to leave him. The first time we meet Jackson she's working in a pub and asks what he want and he says 'You, later.' He's just coming across as sleazy and a player. Next time we see him he grabs her while she's swimming and scares the shit out of her and won't let her go when she asks and spouts about how he always gets what he wants. Now he just comes across an even bigger creep! I love me a possessive man as much as the next girl but he just made a really bad first impression. By the end I did like him but still didn't really care for Edie.
I get that I'm going to be in the minority but it just didn't work for me. The whole no mentioning of condoms while they sleep together is a big no-no for me. In the end it made sense but it still took her too long to notice. Not the smartest cookie in the jar!
But if you love a possessive cowboy then you should definitely read it!

When Eden stumbles upon Pine Crest, she knows the moment she steps into the town that it is home. She meets Doreen the owner of the Cow and Calf and from that point on... She's hooked... Except for Jackson Hensley. She does everything in her power to resist the sparks between their touch and stay away from players like him.
I really enjoyed the storyline of this book. There's isn't an overpowering, alpha male. Instead he is a strong, cowboy, that all the women love. Jackson is full of surprises! Eden learns about herself and what she needs in life. I will have to say my fav character is her BFF Jules... She keeps it real and says what needs to be said.
Like I said I enjoyed this story, the hot cowboy that is tall, dark, and hardworkin', but the the thought of an Aussie Cowboy threw me for a loop. Never Ina million years would I think about a cowboy in Australia... This is being said from a small town southern girl....but I guess there's a new kinda cowboy! It was a great read, especially is you want a book with a little different storyline:)

Have you ever read a story and gone wow that sounds familiar in a way? well that is what i found with this book.. this book reminded me of Man Drought by Rachael Jones .. Same kinda story line.. I also am not into grammar and editing I never comment on it but this books had a LOT OF ERRORS in it . Words missing or the wrong word used simple mistakes but I think another round of editing they might have been picked up. It wasn't 1 or 2 words it was quiet a few to be honest and I found myself re-reading parts over and over to understand what she was saying to realize a word was missing or she had used the wrong word .. Overall this was a nice story I would have given it more stars but for the Familiar story and the bad editing ..

3.0 RATING- I know this book has been free a time or two but I actually paid for it a long time ago and am finally getting around to reading it. It was just okay for me. Maybe the setting (Australia) threw me off a bit with the lingo or what. I'm not sure what the issue was. There were some good one lines, a sassy heroine, an alpha hero... but something just didn't click. I probably won't continue with this series just because I have so many books waiting for me to get to. I have several friends who have enjoyed this series. I just don't think this one is for me.

Right now I'm in the mood for ranches, farms, small towns, and hot cowboys so I was glad I picked this book up. This book is different from Kasey's other books as the male lead isn't really that dominant, persistent yes, "wrong darlin'. I wanna know everything about you. And I'm a man who sees what he wants and goes after it. Never wanted somethin' and not got it - so you can mark my words when I say that by the end of this I'm gonna know your name, and everything else there is to know about you. Be seeing ya, darlin'." Okay so maybe Jackson is a little bit dominant but not much. Also he gets really possessive about only him calling Eden 'Ace' it's just very strange, "only I call you Ace. You wanna see heads rollin' then go ahead and tell others to call you Ace, but I'm warning you now, by the end of it, I'll be the only one calling you Ace." He's a caring guy and he drops everything when something happens to Eden, "I don't care how effing busy I am. Nothing, and I mean nothing is more important to me than you. I'll be there in an hour." He's also a romantic guy, "love being able to blow my load in you." See so romantic. I'm actually really looking forward to Ava and Jeremy's story!

Great Aussie series
Really enjoyed this book. I am an Aussie myself and I can honesty say this is one of the first books by an Australian author that doesn't make us sound like idiots. I don't think there was a blimey or a crikey once. The country slang was true and believable.
The storyline was great and I really liked the main characters. The baddies - Matt and Dannika were awful, glad to see the back of them.
Lost a star for the editing, spelling and grammar mistakes were distracting.
Love the sizzling dynamics of Jack and Edie, only negative, lack of protection used.
Can't wait for Jeremy and Ava's story.

I LOVE Jackson and Edie's story. Their story is sweet, romantic and hot! I love all of the characters in the book except Matt, of course. I love that Edie is strong and not helpless. This story is written beautifully. Kasey Millstead has a gift of writing - especially dialogue. I LOVE the dialogue between the characters, especially Jackson and Edie. I love the book from beginning to end. I can't wait to read Jeremy and Ava's story. In fact, I can't wait to read anything else Kasey Millstead writes.

Eden Cross aka Edie has been drifting along since the death of her parents, existing but not really living like she used to. Her boyfriend isn’t really doing it for her, but she doesn’t feel the urge to do anything about it until she walks in on him and another woman. That prompts her to pack up and go on “walkabout” so to speak as Mick Dundee would say, traveling from one end of Australia to the other searching for something better.
“Things happen in life and before you know it your life has changed direction. That’s what happened to me. I thought I was finally sailing smooth waters. Turns out, I was in the eye of the storm."
When she pulls into Pine Creek, something tells her that she has found what she is looking for. The locals immediately welcome her and she feel s like she has found a new home. While working the bar to help out the owner one night, Cowboy Hottie 1 aka Jackson Henley enters with his twin brother and immediately catches Edie’s eye.
“He’s utterly gorgeous. The epitome of Cowboy Hot. His hair is dark and his jaw is square. His body is built – broad across the shoulders and narrowing slightly at his hips. He spots someone across the bar and hands them a fully-fledged, bright white, straight-toothed smile. My breath leaves me in a whoosh, and then catches again as what has to be his twin slides onto the stool beside him. Oh my fucking god.”
Too bad he spoils it by opening his mouth and uttering one of the worst pickup lines ever, followed rapidly by a woman pitching a fit at him for even talking to Edie. After her recent experiences, she goes out of her way to push him away at every given opportunity, never wanting to go after a man who is already in a relationship.
Edie’s best friend Jules is lots of fun and pushes Edie to start trying to let loose and live a little again- she also gives her a none too gentle nudge in the direction of Jackson, urging her to give him a chance. Jules is just one of several supporting characters who really round out the story, including Jackson’s brother Jeremy, his autistic nephew Oscar, and Edie’s new local friend Ava.
Edie is a strong independent woman and she is determined to stand on her own two feet until she finds the life and relationship she wants. Jackson is determined to win her over and slowly chips away at her resolve to shut him out until she finally relents and gives him one chance to explain himself.
“I wanna know everything about you. And I’m a man who sees what he wants and goes after it. Never wanted somethin’ and not got it – so you can mark my words when I say that by the end of this I’m gonna know your name, and everything else there is to know about you.”
“I’d never let anything happen to you. The only thing you’ve got to worry about from now on is thinking up a shed load of bullshit excuses that you can call upon to protect yourself from me. I’m your biggest threat baby and from the way I see you react every time I’m near, well, that shows me I’m the scariest thing that’s been in your life in a long time, if ever. So that’s alright, I’ll take it slow, wear you down, prove to you I’m not who you’ve convinced yourself I am because I know, and you should too, that the end result is gonna be so far past worth it, Ace, it’s gonna be outta this world.”
He is cocky but respectful and funny and she soon realizes he is not a cheater like her ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed the 2nd half of the book as they get to know each other, and around the 70% mark, a curve ball is thrown in that I didn’t entirely expect that brings them closer to each other.
This is a standalone book, and additional stories in the series will follow other characters introduced here. Every now and then, an Australian term that I wasn’t familiar with would throw me off a little, but it was nothing that I couldn’t figure out the meaning to or was so distracting that I couldn’t continue reading. I will definitely grab a copy of the next book in the series when it comes out!

Every now and then, an Australian term that I wasn’t familiar with would throw me off a little, but it was nothing that I couldn’t figure out the meaning to or was so distracting that I couldn’t continue reading. I will definitely grab a copy of the next book in the series when it comes out!

First and foremost, thank you Kasey for giving us an ARC of this amazing book to read. This book was great, and I picked it up when I got home tonight from work and jut put it down. We meet Eden Cross (aka Edie, Ace) on her birthday experiencing some ho-hum sex by her boyfriend Matt. After work she decides to surprise him and finds him on the couch with another woman! Eden picks up and decides to just go and see where it leads her.
Enter Pine Creek, after weeks of traveling through Australia, Eden finds her way into Pine Creek in the North Territory, and finds a job. As soon as she gets there she feels home. Then she meets Jackson, at first she’s attracted to him, and then he opens his mouth and she thinks he’s just a player. She does everything to stay away, and refuses to give in, he won’t call her by her name, since she never formally introduced herself, and she becomes Ace. Eden’s best friend for life, Jules, shows up to spend some time with Eden, and tries to get Eden to take a chance on Jackson.
Jackson and Edie’s story is sweet, fun, and intimate, and you end up wondering why all guys can’t be like Jackson (they do exist, I have one of my own!). The people of Pine Creek are amazing and open their arms to Edie and welcome her as one of their own. Some crap does go down, and you start to wonder if these two will be together, and if Edie can get over her cheating ex, and the walls she built up after her parents death.
Edie is a fighter at heart, and a strong woman, her character was amazing and true, and she definitely had the “girl power” vibe (HELLO she up and left to go find herself). Jules her best friend is hilarious, and can’t wait for her story. Ava is Edie’s friend she makes while living in Pine Creek, and she’s a local, but instantly becomes friends with Edie and am excited her book is next! Jeremy is Jackson’s twin brother, and I get the feeling there is more to him than what we got in Edie and Jackson’s story, then there is Jackson, he’s amazing, a cowboy, and knows how to treat a girl, and be romantic all at once. All of these characters were amazing, and I’m excited we will get to see more of them in upcoming books by Kasey.
This story was so beautifully written, and sweet. It showed with the right people in your life, no matter what walls you build, people can break through them. This book will be released on July 31st and I encourage each of you to put it on your TBR list. It is definitely worth it. Thank you again Kasey for an amazing story!

Reading the synopsis of this novel, I was excited to start it. Yet, I sadly have to say that I expected so much more from it just by the synopsis. I do think that the story has a lot of potential that hasn't been utilized.
I did like the story for the most part and the characters. I could understand where Eden is coming from and her motives behind her actions. I might not agree with them, like staying with her boyfriend all these years, but I still understood it and could relate to it somewhat.
And Jackson, well who doesn't like a sexy cowboy who knows what he wants and goes after it. I'm all for that!
Yet, I think it was still too easy in my book to win Eden over. Don't get me wrong I liked the story, but after everything Eden went through she didn't put up much of a fight to resist him, even though she thought he was the wort kind of player and cheater. It did tie up a little to nicely in the end.

I was given an ARC of Cowboy Town from the Author in exchange for a fair review.
I'm used to reading books with Moody Billionaire's with strange sexual preferences, but this was a nice change of pace for a change!
The character of Eden (Edie) was well written and you quickly found yourself experiencing the same emotions that Edie experienced when she found her boyfriend in the act of cheating on her.
Unlike most main female characters that sit around crying, Edie picks up and leaves to try and take control of her life. She lands in a small town where the locals all know each other and look after one another.
When she arrives, she immediately falls in love with the town and finds herself working in the local bar to assist the owner with covering a shift. In walks a gorgeous man who immediately catches her eye...right behind him? A twin! But she quickly finds herself turned off by the gorgeous stranger that's walked through the door, as he is obnoxious and turns her off right away as soon as he opens his mouth!
She tries her hardest to get him off of her mind, but no matter how much she tries, he continues to come around until he finally wears her down and gets her to agree to dinner.
The more Jackson comes around, the more you find yourself beginning to love him. He's a man's man! A gentleman, thoughtful, genuine and downright GORGEOUS!!
Mix in a little bit of drama from Edie's ex-bf and Jackson's ex-gf, and you've got yourself a pretty good story!
I really loved how the story came together, and I loved the main characters, Edie and Jackson. Edie's bff Jules made quite the impression on me as well and I cannot wait to read more in the next book!

Eden has been in a three year relationship with Matt, though it has not been a fulfilling one she clings to it until she catches him cheating on her. After the shock of walking in on Matt and the other woman Eden takes a leave of absence from her job and travels around Australia. After 6 weeks on the road she finds herself in Pine Creek. Edie is immediately filled with a sense of being "home" when she arrives in Pine Creek. She finds lodging and begins working at the local bar. She begins making friends with many of the locals, Doreen the bar owner, Skip, the old man who comes to the bar every night, Ava the coffee shop girl and finally she meets Jackson Henley.
Jackson's first impression leaves much to be desired and Edie labels him a manwhore. Jackson is a strong Alpha male and I love how he relentlessly pursues Edie. She finally gives in to Jackson and they begin a relationship even though she is scared to trust again after Matt. Than that idiot, Matt shows up and pulls some real stupid shit on our poor Edie but in the end he gets what he deserves. Matt’s actions do bring Jackson and Edie closer. They still have a few more bumps in the road before they finally getting their happy ever after but its fun ride to take with them.
The story was well written and the characters were well developed. I truly understood each one's personality and that always makes the story more enjoyable. The storyline was entertaining with a great pace. It didn't rush but didn’t drag either...it was just right :) I can’t wait until the second book comes out telling Jeremy and Ava’s story.

This is a nice and quick read that I read in a few hours and I thought it is a good effort for a newer author. I will look forward to reading more from Kasey in the future because I think the more books she writes the more her writing will grow.
I think the communication between the Edie and Jackson could have been better but they did have a really good chemistry. The first few pages I loved! I really didn't expect that to happen and thought it was really good to get the idea of how Edie and Matt's relationship really was.
I also liked the fact that Jeremy had a son and that he is Autistic, this is so common but in alot of books everything is perfect and they don't really touch on subjects like that.

Cowboy Town is a very sweet love story with ups & downs along the way. Eden (Edie) Cross used to be fun and carefree, but when both of her parents passed away, her freewheeling attitude disappeared. She didn't have anyone except her best friend, Jules, and boyfriend, Matt. Matt was a "safe" boyfriend, but something happens which makes Eden decide to pack up her things and leave on a road trip. She leaves her hometown of Sydney, Australia and ends up driving four states over to Pine Creek, Northern Territory. Her journey had been fun, but she felt different when she landed in Pine Creek. She had no idea what was to come when she decided to stay for a while.
In comes Jackson Henley, half owner of a cattle and cropping station, who is obnoxious, sexy, charismatic and full of himself. At least that's how he is portrayed when he first meets the beautiful Eden Cross. She doesn't make it easy on him, because her first impression of him wasn't a good one. Jackson has to work hard to get Eden's attention and it was really fun reading his different attempts while trying to get her to go out with him on a date. He can be very charming and funny. Will he be able to win her over? Does he have what it takes? This story was funny, romantic, mildly dramatic, sad at times, but all in all it was beautiful and gratifying. This was my first novel by Kasey Millstead and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel "Sky Cowboy" which portrays the lives of Jeremy (Jackson's twin) and Ava.

Kasey’s third book and she just keeps getting better with every book
Kasey Millstead is fast becoming one of my fav authors.
Meet Edan, she is left devastated by the sudden untimely death of both her parents, being an only child, she only has a best friend Jules to lean on until she meets Matt, can you take an instant dislike to a character in just a few lines, I can answer that yes you can, I disliked him with a passion straight away, Edan discovers something out about Matt, and with Jules abroad working, she pack’s up for a few days away to sort herself out , days turn into weeks, and weeks into months, it’s as if she is looking for some where to be that makes her feel good.
Pine Creek is small and it just feels right to Edan, she fits right in straight away, she meets Ava and they are instant friends, she also meets Jackson who does his best to put Edan off him (not that he realises this) however he is not the type to guy who gives up easy, so he starts to try to break down Edans walls, his spiteful ex does not help matters.
Kasey has a few good twists and turns in this book, also there other characters that you are introduced to that makes you want to know about them.
A really great read I highly recommend it.

I have been on a cowboy kick lately... So this book definitely soothed my cowboy ache! I totally enjoy a book where the leading lady isn't a doormat & is a take life in her own hands. This book is a different kind of story bc when I think cowboys, I don't think of a sexy Australian cowboy... Well Eden leaves where she has been living when she experiences something she thought would never happen to her, even though she was skimming by in life & had no expectations, she heads out on a life awakening road trip. She ends up in Northern Australia & just feels an ease & peace, like this is where she needs to be. She is welcomed to this small town with open arms & slowly is blossoming into the old Eden full of life. Life begins when he walks in, I mean I can feel the tension, sexy, heat, & sparks between those two. Jackson is the sexiest of cowboys, he is actually quite amazing when she isn't judging him (the book by the cover) & goes straight to the source, a life lesson we all should know by now, but we all let the judging get the best of us. The story just blooms to life with some ups & downs, some zingers I wasn't expecting & of course no cliff hangers. I loved this book & read it in one setting, seriously couldn't put it down, so ready for the next book! I'm intrigued by miss Ava & her tenderness & of course Jeremy, Jackson's twin brother.

I received this book as a BETA read, finding out about Kasey through a book blogs contest, wasn't sue what to expect but the synopsis had me. I couldn't put this down. I needed to know what happens. A few things that stood out for me first was the age of the characters. I try and stay away from the NA books because they are so young. Its always refreshing to hear about a love story that happens a little later in adulthood. We don't all meet the love of our lives at 18. Secondly I love how independent Edie is, she is by far my favorite heroine of the year. I'm pretty much over the whiny, needy females who can't stand on their own two feet. I loved that even when faced with situations most would rely on a man she stood on her own two feet and never expected them. And I also love that the story starts in a situation that I think most women have experienced in one point in time and the perfect way to draw in a romance reader. She has great flow and an easy writing style. Sucked me in within the first few pages. And I am claiming Jackson as my own! You can't have him! Upon release I will be recommending to ALL my friends.

Cowboy Town begins when Eden finds out something about her boyfriend Matt. This sends her running away where she finds her self in the Cowboy Town. Here she gets a new job as a bar tender and meets Jackson Henley. She thinks the worst of this man, but soon realizes maybe she was wrong. And Jackson works really hard to prove her wrong, and he won't give up on her either. These two start to heat up pretty quickly and enjoy a beautiful relationship.
I really liked this book. I thought it was really good. The writing was good, and the plot just sucks you in from the start! Then you enjoy an awesome ride of a woman finding out things about herself as well as finding a new man. However the book did seem somewhat short I still enjoyed it. And now I look forward to reading more in this series. It just needed a little bit more action in my opinion and it would have been better than good! I really loved all of the characters, and it was also awesome to have one of the main characters a twin!(Especially if he's a hot guy) So now I'm off to read the next book. And I highly recommend this book if you like easy reads that have lots of drama and hot guys!

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I was anxious to start this book after hearing from other readers that it was so good. I was not prepared to be swept up in the story of this book. I loved the Australian dialect from the book, I know weird but it is fun to read. Once I started reading I literally could not put this book down, I just wanted to keep reading.
Eden (Edie) is a woman on a quest. She is in a relationship that she discovers is going nowhere fast. She is not satisfied with her partner and decides to take an extended holiday to refresh herself. During her holiday she visits a place she does not remember ever going before but yet it feel like home to her. She of course meets Jackson and the sparks fly. She tried to avoid him but he is relentless in pursuing her, good thing too. Eden and Jackson truly make the cutest couple and even with the ups and downs of a new relationship they are still working together.
This is the first book in this series and I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is the first book in this series and I look forward to the next book in the series.

I have to say I have a soft spot for cowboys and stories of this genre - I read this story in one sitting and really enjoyed it.
The Chemistry between Eden and Jackson was certainly ringing cow bells. I enjoyed the cockiness Jackson put forth and also his whole character in general. His sexiness - certainly dingled my chain - and had me sheepishly grinning many a times.
The story is well put forth for being only a short read. Filled with romance, smokin hot lovin - and also baddies we wanna give a pineapple tooo lol. (( this will make sense when you read it ))
A grade cowboy beef - a strong Female character lead and a few laughs and swoony love - with even a few moments that will have your hair standing on end.
Cowboy Town is a great new story written by Kasey Millstead , an aussie author tooo , I will be following more of her stories from now on.
I look forward to the next instalment of this series.

This book is funny, touching and was a pleasure to read.
The only thing that irritated me is that everyone's parents die in a fucking car accident. Oh one more thing I know it's hot pulling out and all but doesn't Oz have rubbers?!
Eden Cross seed something she doesn't and decides to up and leave Sydney and travel through Australia until she drives into Pine Creek and feels like she has arrived home. (Now I would like to mention that when someone is named Edie then I always think of an old Grandma) ´
She gets a cabin in the local pub and has landed in cowboy territory. Who woulda thought Oz has really sexy steaming cowboys as well. Jackson Henley is a walking Adonis and he has a twin Jeremy. The moment Jackson sees Edie (ole Granny still in my head) sparks ignite but his ex is a bit of bitch. This story is sweet and I will read Jeremy and Ava's book as well as Clay and Jules's book. BUT I would like to see a book about Luke Stewart has he made me curious.

Exposed: An Anthology - 3.5 stars. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with this book. Jack and Jeremy are very hot twins. Edie takes a job in a bar and meets Jack. He gives her a cheesy line and irritates her. So, the chase begins.
Edie caught her boyfriend cheating and takes an indefinite leave of absence and sets off driving around Australia. I liked the descriptions of the places and the Aussie euphemisms. Edie resists Jack because she doesn't want another relationship and she thinks he is a player - especially when she witnesses a scene between him and a jealous girlfriend.
I liked Edie's bff Jules - when she visited Edie, she met a hot guy named Clay. Jack's brother, Jeremy is the unrequited love of Edie's new friend Ava. Apparently, there is quite a backstory there.
I noticed a few typos and some very minor continuity issues. Overall, 3.5 stars. I will read Jeremy/Ava's story and Jules/Clay's story.

I love this story that is between Edie & Jackson. Unlike other stories this female lead actually knows what she wants and what she is going after. She isn't one of those wishy washy female leads that doesn't know what she wants and is so confused and lost in the whole book. At the beginning you can get a real sense of what Edie is feeling when she catches her ex doing the deed and then you can really feel the betrayal that she feels when she finds out that she in face is the other woman. And then along comes Jackson. Your typical pig headed cowboy who thinks he can get whatever he wants and isn't going to back down till he gets it. Jackson surprised me thru out this whole story. I wish I could find a Jackson ;-) All in all, this is a very great book and I love it!! Great job Kasey!!

I read the book Cowboy Town within the first few days of my husband leaving to go to outback Queensland (Australia) to work for 3 weeks! To say the timing was good is an understatement!
I really enjoyed the story and would rate it 4.5 stars. I thought the characters were believable and interesting and I was hooked into reading it right from the beginning. I felt the angst, love & turmoil that the characters were feeling and read it quickly over 2 days because I couldn’t put it down! I am thrilled that this book was set in Australia and portrays Aussie Cowboys in such an amazing light! I will definitely follow up with the rest of the series!
