i feel like everyone should know this:
You're killing the flowers. You've got beautiful flowers in your mind. You hurt them when you're mean to yourself.
We all have flowers in our brains, pretty flowers too, yellow and also blue.
But when you're hard on yourself, and say mean things about yourself, which are untrue-- you're stepping on the flowers and hurting them.

4.5 yellow and blue stars.

afskflg this could have been a five star read because everything, everything up till chapter twenty-eight was so damn endearing. i loved every word and every twist and turn. then the writing started getting more serious and i was like... who has the time for that. anyways, shiloh and paisley are perfect. this book was so adorable it went over the line. to quote joey tribbiani from their favorite show, Over the line? You're so far past the line that you can't even see the line! The line is a dot to you!!!
i adore the juxtaposition between yellow (paisley's fav color) and blue (shiloh's) because it could be the difference between happy and sad. pais was lost, barely holding on and trying to find happiness anywhere she could. while lolo didn't even know she could love someone as much as she loves pais-until she came knocking on her door. please.
i'm glad this is meant to be a trilogy, 'cause otherwise i'd be worried there'd be a book for every color that exists lmao.

I like this one better than the first.
For me Shiloh is such a good character but sometimes I feel like she's two different person. One minute, she's pissed then the next, she can knock you of your feet. I like how she impart her conversation with Paisley.
Again the book has a lot of potential but I don't think it was delivered very well. But still I would like to give credit to the author.

"It's funny because I had always thought you would just be a chapter in my book, but you ended up becoming the entire novel." This book and the entire yellow series give me such a happy and hopeful feeling that I have never experienced with any other book. I can't even explain how amazing this story is and the feelings it evokes in me. This one will be on my mind for a while.

I think out of this series this book is my favorite. It's so emotional and captivating. This is probably my favorite love story ever. Paige and Shiloh are just awesome...and Paige becoming a individual and finding her independence just makes me so happy on the inside. I'm so reading to read Green.
