*sigh* I wanted to love this book like the others in the series. Most of the book is good. I like the suspense, action, character interaction, and the plot.

I have one major problem keeping this one from more stars. I'm so sick of weak women heroines! She is disrespected repeatedly by her love and her brother and they are never accountable. They never acknowledge their mistakes. She often says that she will not tolerate it, but she does. It is never resolved. The author did a great job building the conflict, and I kept waiting for the satisfaction of the resolution that never comes. I'm left feeling frustrated.

Cade was an unlovable asshole and needed to get hit up side his head a few times. Cecilia was so passive and so up and down, it made my head spin. She had served several years in the Army but let her brother, Logan and Cade jerk her around and treat her anyway. I don't like wishy washy and weak woman. I also couldn't connect with the couple. Their chemistry was non existent. I only kept reading to see how the mission would end and that did hold my attention. This story didn't work for me but it may work for you!

Ok so once again Im left OUT in the cold and brought in on book three! Book three! Seriously?!?!?! -- So yes I will be back peddling and grabbing up books one and two. Friends of mine you MUST do the same. We all know my favorite genre is anything with military men turned protector turned private security … oh and add a Harley into the mix and big trucks, guns and some bad guys. Im all over that … ! Fist bump!

Cade Winters is heading back to Texas to protect his sister Ronnie. Not that Ronnie isn’t capable to a large extent .. she is a high powered attorney married to an ex cop. However Trace cant protect his sister like he can and laying on him that not only is she pregnant but also that she has been receiving death threats isn’t sitting well with Cade. Ronnie is backing a women’s clinic that serves as a safe house for trafficked women kidnapped by the cartel and rescued. A certain extremist group doesn’t want a bill to pass that is currently heading to the table allowing for additional funding for the clinic. More funds mean more rescues of the enslaved women taken by the cartel. Cade knows the cartel and definitely knows trafficking – he also knows he can land a job with Dave Logan, Cade leaves Columbia and heads back home.

Cee Cee Logan is tired of her brother treating her like she isn’t capable. She served two tours but yet he has put her behind a desk at his Deep Six. Wondering if she made the right choice adding her ex Cade to the mix she knows now for sure she has to get out under her brothers finger and break away once again. Maybe she can head back to Afghanistan – she knows the Army will take her back with open arms. At least Keegan is on his way for a visit and will be able to take her mind off of the incident that already occurred at the shooting range.

When all hell breaks loose Cee Cee is given her shining moment to show her stuff. Maybe her brother will see she isn’t going to break. Working with Cade though could prove difficult. He isn’t impressed by the hard woman he now sees in front of him. What happened to the beautiful and tender woman he used to know and love. Even if she does blame him for becoming who she is now she wasn’t innocent in the events that played out between them either. If both of them can hang in there until the threats are no longer present they can both go their separate ways ….. or ……

This is such a fantastic story. Dear lord there is Hawk, Keegan, Dave, Slade, Levi, Jaxson, their women and a new comer to me .. Lou Ellen. OH LORD! LOL! -- The banter between Keegan and Cade is hilarious; Squid and Secret Squirrel; Skippy and oh yes tampons … you will never look at them the same…... Bwaaahhhhh! You will LOVE this book. You don’t need to read the others but I don’t know why you wouldn’t. You would be crazy not to.

Cade and Cee Cee are fantastic characters. Two hard headed peeps. I love it when the author creates a moving picture in my mind while Im reading and that is exactly with Becky did. That connection between the words on the pages and the images in running around in your head are so critical to loving a story. BRAVO!

Please also read the excerpt at the beginning of the book. If you suspect human sex trafficking is happening in your area or outside your area contact your local authorities or the FBI. This is a very real situation … a taboo subject that must be brought into the light. If we don’t start talking about it and uniting against this horrific crime it will never stop.

Harsh elements

This is a raw and often harsh second chance story. Cade and Cecilia have a difficult relationship after breaking up six years ago. Things ended very badly after they both forgot how to be mature adults. They are now working for her brother and must interact. He's very harsh. She's pushing back at everyone after her brother continues to disrespect her, something he's done her whole life. The book is as romantic as a boxing match but the story is compelling.

Great diversion!

Okay I will be honest this book didn't do it for me. I really felt like David and Care really did not understand Cece even up to the end they were making decisions for her even if they were in her best interests. That does not mean I am going to stop reading her books, though! I can't eat to see what is next in the series.

You’re just like your father. Don’t kid yourself into thinking you’re any better, Cade Winters.

What a mind twist of a read. I was continuously trying to figure out who the bad guy was.

This was Cade and Cee Cee’s story.The story alternates between Cade and Cee Cee’s POV.
Cade comes home to help his sister after he finds out she is receiving death threats and Cee Cee is working for her brother at Deep Six Security trying to finally earn his respect and trust to be able to work for him. When Cee Cee goes to the shooting range she runs into the last person she wanted to see, Cade. They have a romantic history that they both have so many unanswered questions on. Will they finally each get the answers they are both looking for?

Cade hires Deep Six Security and Cee Cee to help find out who has bombed the trafficked woman’s repatriation clinic. Will Cee Cee finally get to prove to her brother that she can be an agent? There was so much going on that really kept me engaged and couldn’t put it down. Not only does things heat up with the investigation so do things between Cee Cee and Cade.

This is book #3 in the Deep Six Security series and could be read as a standalone. If you want to start from the beginning, start with Til Death #1, Twisted Honor #2.

The book doesn’t end in a cliffhanger however I would love to see more from Cee Cee and Cade. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. This was a great suspenseful read with a little bit of romance thrown in. Thank you Becky McGraw for a great read.

HOLY SH*@BALLS!!! WOW!!! If you like suspense/thriller stories you gotta grab Hell Bent. It is two for the price of one. Hell Bent has a wonderful balance between suspense, thriller, and romance. It is a page turner from page one. It was a nail biter. It was exciting. It was hot.
Cade Winters needs to protect his sister. The only problem, she is in Texas and he is in Columbia. Cade calls the company he recently worked for to protect her. Deep Six Security is the go to agency if you are in trouble. Roni Winters Rooks is in serious trouble. (Little back detail for those that haven't read Trouble with the Law, Roni is a bull in the courtroom.) She just doesn't know how to backdown. Now she is taking to the streets helping those that fell victim to human trafficking. Someone or someones want her stopped.
Cade Winters has had years taking down those that harm others. No one is more important than his sister Roni. For her, he will return to Texas. He will have to confront his past, Cecelia Logan. Talk about bad blood. I am not sure who adds more fuel to the fire, but sparks fly.
As if the trafficking, attacks, and kidnappings weren't enough of a thrill, Cade and Cecelia's relationship is one for the books. It doesn't hurt that Cade is H. O. T. --hot. It doesn't hurt that he is a super protective alpha. It doesn't hurt that there such deep passion. Cade butts heads with the woman that Cecilia has become. The woman that he helped create. Cecelia is no longer the hugging, loving, gentle young woman. She has toughened. She has closed down. She has sex for sex sake.
She even pretends to have sex with Cade for sex alone. You can't fake love. You can't fake passion. You can't fake desire. I wonder if that is why Cade ran? Let the chase begin. Let the mating dance commence. Get ready to scream one minute and happy dance the next.
Becky McGraw gave me a wonderful book boyfriend in Cade. The things he did for the innocent young victim, Amelia, amazed me and left me swooning. His body had me drooling and hot. But what really did it for me was what happened after the smoke cleared. He helped save all of those women and almost lost his own. Let me tell you that man knows how to say "I'm sorry". Actions do speak louder than words. I could read it over and over again. Men take note, the bar has been raised.

Becky McGraw - Deep Six Security Series Hell Bent: Book 3

A great installment to the Deep Six Security Series that is a fast paced novel that will keep you turning pages to the very end.
We have met Cade Winters in book 2. He is a harsh man that I didn’t particularly care for then nor did I like him in the beginning of this book. Cade comes from the Delta Force elite force. He is a harsh man and refuses to have more than one night with a woman since he was not willing to have his heart broken again.

Cade swore never to come back to Texas but his sister; a judge has been threatened because of her involvement in helping women who have escape from human trafficking. The problem is that he has to work for Deep Six Security and the women, CEE CEE Logan, is their receptionist and who broke his heart years ago. All Cade can do is avoid her at all costs.

Cee Cee only wanted one thing to be independent and stand on her own. That is why she had to join the military and was in very dangerous places. Cee Cee had proven to herself but she is not able to convince her brother, the owner of Deep Six, that she should be a team member and not just the girl at the front desk. But, he won’t have any part of that. She just wants to be respected for her accomplishments but isn’t able to get that. Maybe she should re-up in the military. Even the man, Cade, who she loved once didn’t respect her or her decision. He didn’t want her to sign up for the military so they parted ways and haven’t seen each other since. Now what is she going to do? He is working for her brother at Deep Six.

Cade avoiding CEE CEE is not possible since he needs her to help him with saving his sister. Even though the attraction is still just as strong as it was so many years ago, neither will give in to their feelings. Well, that was the plan. Is it possible that Cade and Cee Cee can forgive each other and the pain that each still feels?

Walls there's none strong enough to stop a Deep Six Man

Cade a man who loves his dangerous secret job and he's no
string sex life that he has. He only has one person in his life

She had been in love once but even he hadn't respected her
or stood by her.Now her past was part of Deep Six, a group
who had some awesome militaryIntelligent men who by
the way are sexy as hell but none compared to him....

Becky also throws in some laughs with Characters that you
Want to yell, scream at, and choke. Lou Ellen will have you
rolling in laughter. She maybe up there in years but
she can hold her Own and you don't want to tangle

This book broke my heart the tears flowed freely but the
compassion was undeniable. Issues that are Heartbreaking
but really are part of today's world. She bring journeys filled

Hell Bent is the first book I've read by Becky McGraw, and I LOVED it! Cecelia Logan is out of a 6 year stint in the Army. She's been trying to prove to her family for years that she's not a helpless woman, and she thought she finally earned her brother's respect when he hired her at his company. But he only uses her for his secretary, and she's very frustrated. Former Delta Force Operator turned CIA Ghost Ops Operative Cade Winters has stayed away from his family for years. When he makes his yearly call to the only family member he gives a crap about, his sister Veronica, he finds out she's in danger. So he has no choice but to go back to Texas, and he takes a job with Cee Cee's brother's security firm, thinking he wouldn't see her there. They broke up 6 years before in an ugly way, and Cade destroyed Cee Cee. As she's ready to re-enlist to get away from all of them, she's presented with an opportunity to prove herself as an agent. With a partner that's going out of his way to make her look bad every chance he gets, does she really want it?

This book started out with a bang, and never looked back. The character development is fantastic with the layers of mystery being unraveled slowly and realistically. An action packed, exciting, and well written story line flows so smoothly, that I couldn't move until I was completely finished. Becky McGraw does a fabulous job keeping my heart racing cover to cover, and the well placed humor had me laughing hard. The chemistry is electric, leading to SIZZLIN' sexy scene goodness. I loved Cee Cee so much that I was totally calling all the ego filled men in her life names like she was my bestie, and also physically felt her pain. I CANNOT WAIT to read more by this author, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Have you ever wanted to choke someone, and slap someone else up side the head too?

Well this was my reaction to Cade Winters and Cecelia Logan. Cade has spent years doing what he believes he does best and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like it. He’s arrogant, opinionated, a brute and downright nasty. But throughout the story you can’t help but see the occasional crack in his hard-earned status, and wonder what caused this hardened version of someone who was full of life.

CeeCee Logan spends copious amounts of time trying to win her brothers favour and cement her standing within his Deep Six Security team. But Dave doesn’t want his sister on the front line, letting her leave to join the military was bad enough, so he’s not encouraging her risk-taking tendencies. So secretary it is, well until he can push her all the way out the door.

Cade and CeeCee have history, and after two years of wonderful, everything fell apart when CeeCee enlisted without talking to Cade first. So six years later, many miles of distance and so much angst between them, this unlikely duo are thrust together for a common cause and forced to deal with issues they both thought better left in the past.

This is an extremely emotional story with the background of each primary character and the heartbreaking reality of human trafficking where the degradation and torture so many innocent women endure is unending. I really loved this story and while Cade came across brutish and hardheaded initially, and CeeCee had moments of immaturity, their growth and development throughout the story was wonderful.

Hell Bent is the third book in the Deep Six Security Series, and although I loved the other books, I think that this one is my favorite. Not only is the chemistry between Cade Winter and Cecelia Logan (Cee Cee) sizzling hot, the story line is just so intense, that is grabs you from the very first page and doesn't let go. Cade and Cee Cee have a history, but after years apart, they are both different people, and the fact that they parted without closure, leaves both of them bitter. Cee Cee is Dave Logan's sister, and both she and Cade work for Deep Six. When Cade's sister starts making noise against human trafficking it leaves Cade hell bent on protecting her, and he will not allow Cee Cee to help in anyway, because he thinks he needs to protect her too. Seems like everybody wants to protect Cee Cee and to say that her brother Dave needs a attitude adjustment in this book, is putting it mildly, he is a total jerk towards his sister.
This book is so much more than a romance between two people, it is loaded with suspense, action, and real life problems. Poor Cade, he experiences so many things in this book, and at one point I just wanted to reach through the pages and hug him, what he had to go through was just so heartbreaking. Five shining stars for this one Becky McGraw, but it deserves so many more. If you love romance, with action, drama, and suspense then give this book a try, you will not be disappointed. For me, it was one of those reads that stays with you, long after the last page is turned.

Hell Bent is the ultimate fairy tail - well, Bad Ass Fairy tail anyway...

A hotter than hot hero - Cade has a job that he would have to kill you if he told you about it, until he finds out his Sister may be in danger. He heads home and takes a job with Deep Six Security while he is there.

A tough but sensitive heroine - Cee Cee Logan came out of the Army to work for her brother, but things aren't what she thought they would be and she is frustrated as can be. To top it off her college flame and the man she thought she would be spending her life with is coming to work for her brother and things are about to get interesting.

The villain - Well there are a few, but there is definitely one you will want to HATE and I'm sure if you are like me you will be wishing not so nice things about him. ;)

The comic relief - If you aren't familiar with Lou Ellen from the Hell Bent series you will be after this one. She is a riot and cracks me up, I love her and wish I could adopt her into my family... lol

As from the start the Deep Six Security team is an amazing family and you get to keep up with all of the characters from the past and a few from even before Deep Six came into existence. I absolutely loved this one and can't wait to see what comes next.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I loved the narrator. He made it so enjoyable. His voice made it easy to get lost in the story.

I have been waiting for Cade's story and was not disappointed at all. I wasn't to thrilled with Cee Cee's character in the beginning. That changed about half way through though.

My heart broke for Cade when he had to make such a gut wrenching decision.

I look forward to reading more from the Deep Six Security guys.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

Love/Hate is real thing and let me tell you, Becky McGraw does this (and so much more) brilliantly with this installment of the Deep Six Securtity Series. Since my first run in with Cade in Twisted Honor, I really didn't care for him too much. I wasn't sure I really wanted to read his story but you know me, I'm a Book Whore. There was no way I was passing up a chance to devour another Becky McGraw book. And devour, I did.

This was my favorite installment to date. It was action-packed, oh so steamy, and had me glued to my kindle until I could swipe anymore pages. I can say that Cade totally redeemed himself and has even made my 2016 BBF list. He's what I like to call "Mind Candy".

Read this series, fall in love with the characters, and add another favorite author to your list just like I have done.

Hell Bent is the third book in the Deep Six Security Series but Becky McGraw doesn't slack on the action in this third entry. Cee Cee and Cade were introduced in the prior books and I have been waiting impatiently to see how their story would play out. This could certainly be read as a standalone however, knowing all the characters adds to the experience. Cee Cee joined the military to prove herself to everyone but she ended up breaking Cade's heart years ago. Coming home after leaving the military she still feels that lack of respect from her brother Dave when he gives her a secretarial job with Deep Six rather than the agent position she wants. When Cade's sister, Ronnie (the heroine from Trouble with the Law), is threatened, he comes back to Texas to help protect her. He mistakenly thinks he can avoid Cee Cee while he is there. At times, you want to smack Cade and Dave for the way they treat Cee Cee but slowly Cade begins to see that she can take care of herself and that maybe he hasn't given her enough respect. Becky takes you on a wild ride between Cee Cee and Cades relationship and the action surrounding Ronnie and her involvement in the shelter for women who were victims of human trafficking. There is a lot packed into this book and its a definite must read if you love some action along with your romance. Not to mention a dash of humor!

I have to admit that when I first met Cade Winters, I didn't like him too much. He managed to redeem himself pretty quickly when I started reading Hell Bent. I liked Cee Cee Logan also. I loved this book because of one main reason, it follows a story line that is actually happening; human trafficking. Such a disgusting reality needs to be stopped. So many young women, an boys, are being lured and taken from their families and forced into prostitution all around the world. The fact that it exists here in the United States totally disgusts me. I wish there were really people like Cade that were able to do what they do in stories like Hell Bent.
Both Cade and Cee Cee are military people for different reasons. They used to be in a relationship, but not being able to talk to each other, they made wrong choices and put themselves at odds with each other. They are thrown back together when they both start working for Dave Logan and his Deep Six Security company. Because Cades sister is working with women who have been liberated from brothels, she is a target for the people who run them. Cade is determined to protect her and she insists that Cee Cee be there to help.
Such a good story and I like the fat that they really do need to work through some issues before they can get back together.

Cade Winters is a government operative who does freelance work after getting out of the military. He went into the military when his father took away his inheritance and he couldn't go to med school. Cecelia Logan is owner of Deep Six Security, David Logan, little sister. She was coddled as a child. She rebelled by joining the Army so she could learn to take care of herself. She left Cade Winters behind. They were young when this happened and both of them acted immaturely. All Cece has ever wanted is to work for her brother's company. She's hired to be the secretary. Cade Winters is back in Dallas because of a threat to his sister. He's working for Deep Six. He and Cece try to avoid each other. Both blame the other for their lost relationship. They do end up talking about it and understand each other better. They also say they're sorry. I loved the characters, each so damaged in their own way. Cade broke my heart though at the beginning I wanted to kill him because he was such a jerk. The rest of the story was interesting. The resolution to all parts of the story wrapped up nicely and in a way that was consistent with the characters.

Becky McGraw has once again blown me away with another amazing addition to the Deep Six series!!
Hell Bent is a story about two long lost lovers Cade and Cee Cee. They had a past that comes with a lot of anger. Cee Cee and Cade find each other back in each others lives when they both end up working at Deep Six. Cee Cee who is aready on edge because she's stuck working for her brother as a secretary and she has more skills that would be useful then sitting at a desk. Cade is swearing he is only back long enough to keep his sister safe and then he is moving on.....at least that is what he keeps telling himself. When the situation becomes more than they had plan, these two ex lovers find themselves trying to survive the mission and from each other. This book hooks you so fast you will not put it down!
For those that have started this series from the beginning it is nice to have the other characters return! Otherwise if you haven't yet read one of these book WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any book by Becky McGraw. Her books can be read as stand alone books, but once you read one, you will be hooked. Her character development is phenomenal. She makes all of the characters believable so you feel a connection to them & can't wait to read their stories. If you read one book, you will want to read them all.

This book is about Cade & CeeCee...two long lost lovers that each fight their own demons before reconnecting. You can feel the angst, insecurity, and eventually love & passion they are feeling. Once you start reading, there is just enough action/drama to keep you hooked. The air just sizzles around Cade & CeeCee. Their connection is electric! You won't want to put it down until you are finished. I can't wait for the next book by Becky McGraw. She knows how to keep us wanting more - anticipation!

Cade & Cecelia were an item back in college, she made a decision to be all that she could be against her boyfriend and families wish’s, she walked away from him and them to prove who she was and who she could be.
Six year later they now work together for her brother, they can’t stand each other but can they mend their fences to work together to help his sister who is in danger? Or will they forever be enemies and let mis-understandings come between them. Add in colorful cast of other characters and this makes for a great story!
This book takes you on their journey as they revisit their pasts and try to move forward from their mistakes to move on with their lives.
Becky McGraw writes a great action packed story that absolutely does this couple justice! I recommend this book I know you will enjoy their story as well as other books Becky has written!

Book 3 in the series. First for me . Love how the author took a popular subject and made a great audio . The narrator was great . Matt’s voice was clear and smooth. You can tell all the characters by the tone of the voice .

Hero is Cade. Heroine is Cecilia .
Cade is in the security group. He’s suppose to protect people which he’s on his way to Texas to do. Protect his sister. Cade thinks he can do a better job than his sisters hisband. His sister is in all sorts of trouble. So he’s going back home to Texas from Colombia
Cecelia is Cade’s ex wife and she works for her brother security company but behind a desk. Which she HATES . Can’t her brother see she served for 2 yrs.
Cecilia and Cade star working together back in Texas. But Cade notices that Cecelia has changed .
It’s like a firecracker between the 2 grab it and see the fireworks

A Triumph! Third book in the Deep Six Security series. Becky McGraw has written another fabulous book - a superb read. Cade and CeeCee are the poster children for dysfunctional relationship! So many times I wanted to slap some sense into both of them - especially Cade. Will they finally get their acts together? This story is fast paced, exciting, action packed, and oh so HOT! It also hits some very difficult subjects like cartels and trafficking in people - a world that is gritty and decidedly not glamorous. We also run into some old friends, besides Dave and Susan Logan, Ronnie and Trace Ricks, Allison Ricks, and the colorful Aunt Lou Ellen . I loved every moment of it! You won't be able to put this one down!

I would have liked to have much more interaction between Cade and Cecelia. This book is in the romance section but most of the book was about all the different ops going on in the story. And the note at the bottom of the book description about graphic sex? Maybe I'm just biased based on the other books I've read but the 3 scenes I remember (& I don't count one-liner remembering as a sex scene) were not exactly graphic in my opinion.

All that being said, this was a good military romance read, with lots of twists, turns, violence, intrigue, etc.

This is book 3 in the Deep Six Security series, so you may want to read the other two first. It is not necessary, in my opinion (I have not read them), but may help in understanding where the other characters are coming from in this story.
