There are quite a few issues with this book. First, there are several glaring editing issues scattered throughout the book. Most are ones that should have been easily caught. Then, there's the plot. It's super cliché and not in a good way. Additionally, the author doesn't make me want to learn more about any of the characters. Her writing style isn't terrible but it also isn't engaging.
Another issue I had, and one that caused me to DNF the book was how it handled sex work and the whole "gay for pay" thing. This is a book about sex tourism, basically, and it's just not handled that well. Additionally, Mitchell and Xander kept reinforcing their heterosexuality like it was just really unnecessary and it took away enjoyment. Maybe the characters (and the author) figure out that bisexuality is a thing later on, but I really didn't have the time to wait and find that out.
I thought this book would be my cup of tea because I've been on a ménage kick lately, but unfortunately... It didn't go the way I'd hoped.
