Get Over It is a fun story about a young girl named Amelia who embarks on the journey of attending university. She's in a mysterious feud with her best friend from high school and the two wind up being roommates. Throughout the book she attends her first days of college, confronts some people from her past, and tries to have fun. It's a short & fast read and while there's not a huge cliffhanger, there's definitely some open endings so I feel like this might lead to more books.

Amelia seems to be a level headed girl.

In this book, the first in the series, we learn about her family, on the eve she moves into her dorm at college. I can't say I have had the experience, so it is nice to read about all of the opportunities available to Amelia. 

She requested that she not share a room with her ex best friend, Marian, but she has been put in a room with Marian. 

What follows are their attempts to patch up their relationship.
