Q: WHAT’S MORE TRAUMATIZING THAN GOING TO SECOND BASE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME?
A: BEING INTERRUPTED MID-MAKE-OUT BY A ZOMBIE WITH KILLER ISSUES.
It’s been three months since Megan thwarted a plan to ruin Homecoming and narrowly avoided getting killed by her best friend. She should be enjoying spending time with her incredibly yummy boyfriend, Ethan, and the thrill of being on the pom squad.
But between pom squad vs. cheerleader issues at school and strange, life-like Undead popping up at the most inconvenient times, Megan can’t shake the feeling that the threat to Carol isn’t a thing of the past.
Soon violent, Settler-resistant Undead prove that this isn’t happily ever after; it’s just the calm before another zombie storm. Can Megan handle the heat?
Alert: TWO’S COMPANY, ZOMBIES ARE A CROWD was previously published as part of the full-length novel UNDEAD MUCH? in 2010. It has been extensively revised for this second edition told in SERIAL format.
Stacey Jay is a recovering workaholic (or at least working hard at recovering) with three pen names, two small children, and a passion for playing pretend for a living. She’s been a full time mom-writer since 2005 and can't think of anything she'd rather be doing. Her former careers include theatre performer, professional dancer, poorly paid C-movie actress, bartender, waiter, math tutor (for real) and yoga instructor.
This is Book 5 and I can't get enough of this series. Megan and Ethan are such a cute couple and the zombie adventures are never boring. Dealing with going to second base with your college age boyfriend; the undead that can turn up at any moment; your competition with the head of the pom squad who wants your boyfriend and "works" with you along with all the normal teenage hormone angst - it's a lot to deal with and Stacey Jay turns out a highly entertaining, fabulous story.
Each book brings more and more surprises and the twist in this one is a doozy!!
God poor Meg can never catch a break I tell you. I love that she is still fighting the good fight fight with Monica....lol. I can't wait to find out what happens with Cliff (I think he might have a story to tell) and I love that Meg is still just a teen girl trying to navigate her way through highscool, and boys. Ohhhh and is her mom hiding something from her past......can't wait to get that story. Love this series can't wait for the next book!
New zombies and new boyfriend, what's a teenage settler supposed to do but kick butt and drama panic about moving beyond kissing. Once again Ms Jay has kept this book on the level of a 16 yo drama queen with mixed up priorities and life ending drama. Added in new panic over a relationship and it makes for an enjoyable read. The series is very fun and I can't wait to read more
