Choo-Choo: Defenders MC

Rate this book
Choo-Choo had spent his life as a quiet observer. His size and appearance kept him on the fringe of society, that was until he found his place with the Defenders MC and his brothers. He held the hard edge that so many expected and he tried to live the life that seemed to be waiting for him, but inside he knew he was more than his size, he was a man with more to offer to the world and to his club than the intimidation he carried with him like a cloak of darkness.
He thought it was just a dream, a fairy tale dreamed up by a foolish man, until he saw her.

Josie had struggled most of her life just to put food in her belly after her father died and left her with a mother that had seen her daughter as competition more than a child she should have loved. She worked and excelled in school only to face bitter scorn from her mother with every accomplishment. She hadn't considered leaving though until her mother betrayed her in the basest way. She ran from the only home she'd ever known, but life on the streets had been too much and before she'd had time to think it through she'd offered herself to a man that would lock her in a world of shame.
Only one man had been able to break her free of the chains that shame had forged.
One man had shown her how a woman deserved to be treated, but the trouble she brought him was too much to bear.

Will she have the strength to face her demons and will he be able to stand back and let her when all he wants to do is hide her away from everything that could harm her and can he save the family he pledged his life to while keeping his blood safe and untainted by the life he had chosen?

Amanda Anderson lives in North Georgia with her husband and two children. She spends part of her time teaching at a local preschool and writing, while the rest is devoted to family. Writing is new to her, but storytelling has been a life long hobby. Amanda loves using words to create images and feelings for others. Writing offers her an escape from the wonderful chaos that is her life. Raising two small children takes a lot of energy and she often collapses in her office chair late at night to let her ideas flow.

Amanda finds that she enjoys her self-published status because it gives her the freedom to write what she wants, how she wants it. She often chooses characters that may not fit the norm of what most think of as a hero or heroine. She likes that her characters are unique and that their stories flow from her instead of what someone else’s guidelines are.

Would have liked to have seen more of Mrs rescue, but enjoyed the story. There is no doubt the Choo Choo picked a strong woman and I am so glad he didn't hold her past or events against her. And the ending...need the next book now!
