This is one of those books I got and saved for Christmas reading. As expected, it was a nice, heartwarming read, eliciting a few girlish giggles on my part. It really helped me relax after a rough day while getting me into a more festive mood for the holidays. Short, sweet, and nicely whimsical.

I am a big weirdo who apparently started in the middle of a series rather than the beginning. That kind of spoils the endings of the earlier books, but, honestly? I enjoyed the reading and characters enough that I hope to go back and start the series from the beginning. I'm not someone who reads just for the ending--I like the experience and seeing how things piece together. I really enjoyed this nice, chaste romance, and you can tell that the author has put a lot of work and thought into the community and personalities involved.

I can happily recommend this for light romance reading!

Mistletoe A Clairmont Novella by S. Jane Scheyder
Liked the story line, set off the coast of Maine and each of the kids adult parents Liz and Christopher are trying to make them slow down-they had just gotten engaged. The parents can't understand why the rush, Cam needs to finish his law degree as Kelly works at the coffee shop.
The mistletoe gets to them, she can't get enough of Christopher's kisses and keeps going back for more.
Love hiking and other winter activities and descriptions along the way. Like hearing both sides of the same things happening.
The parents may get what they want.... great story, enjoyed.
Excerpt from another in the series is included at the end.

This was a great love story. Liz is trying to get her recently engaged daughter to slow down, stop and think. Christopher is doing the same with his son who is engaged to Liz's daughter. It Christmastime, a B&B, snow and Liz and Christopher are falling in love. The story continues from their first kiss and they are still trying to keep it together so their kids don't see it.

It was a warm, apple pie kind of Christmas love story. Enjoy it for what it is.

A very interesting story, it leads into the next book, but, not a cliffhanger. Quite interesting and unusual . The characters are great very different

I enjoy a good, romantic story. This is most definitely a good, romantic story. Plus, it is set at Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year. I really enjoyed the well written characters, they were interesting, and felt real. This can let you escape for a while.
