I was given a copy of Wheelman through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:
Cy finds out his Father's alive and in Mexico City so he leaves the Child Protection Service home and heads to Mexico. He ends up being detained by guards in one airport and interrogated then let go. When Cy finally sees his Father face to face their is something about the man he doesn't trust.
He soon finds out his Father was mixed up in some serious stuff. Soon Cy finds himself risking his life to rescue victims of a sex trafficking ring with his Father.
Will Cy make it as his Father's Wheelman or will he die in the process.
Mr. Tucker depicts the hurt of abandonment, the evils of human trafficking, the healing of forgiveness, and the power of faith, all in an entertaining tale that is an easy read and yet makes you ponder all the hard questions. Action-packed and fast paced, you will be hooked from the beginning, and rest assured you will find it hard to put this book down.
This book has my brain churning ever since I out it down. I enjoyed how well Mr. Tucker took me on a trip to Mexico only to show me the horrors surrounding life and in particular how comfy my life is in the USA. I loved how each character showed me a part of grace, love, and forgiveness. This is a great read and worth the time.
