Always a romantic, Patti Berg spent her childhood dreaming about being whisked away by a knight in shining armor, a devil-may-care swashbuckler, s sheik on a shiny black stallion, or a broad-shouldered cowboy with a Stetson tilted low on his brow. Now she spends her days making up stories where her heroes do whatever she wants them to.

Seaside Harmony, by Patti Berg, is the first in the three book collection, Nantucket Dreams. Three semi-estranged sisters reunite, following the death of their mother, returning to the vacation destination of their childhood, Nantucket. They rediscover the Misty Harbor Inn, now in the throws of decay and abandonment, and decide to pool their resources to purchase, restore and reopen the historic inn as a bed and breakfast. As the sisters work hard at the cleaning and restoration they also rediscover their love and faith in one another, maneuvering the inevitable bumps along the way. It's a charming beginning for the Nantucket Dreams collection, with a little mystery, a little romance and the allure of Nantucket to provide a lovely summer read.
