Her Lion Twins

Rate this book
After going on bad date after bad date, curvy Amanda was in desperate need of some sort of excitement in her life.

A new dating site called “Shifted Perspectives” seemed to be one that would offer the NSA fun that Amanda desired.

And when she found herself the object of desire of hunky twin brothers Grayson and Grear, she felt she had found exactly what she was looking for.

So she agreed to meet both of them but she was completely unaware that they were both WereLions who were seeking a mate to share...

This is a paranormal menage romance with twists that will keep you guessing right to the end. Be prepared to be surprised and thrilled!

Warning: Recommended for audiences 18+ as it is a ménage à trois erotic romance.

After this story was originally published, it was later chosen to be included in the Were Twins Anthology.

Wasted potential. Decent story line, had places to go, just really bad story telling. I'm left confused. All telling no showing. Character wise, there was no depth; well no real depth of character on any of the characters. I wanted to like them, I just never got to know them. If you are looking for a mediocre erotica menage story. Buy it.

DNF. Odd writing and confusing storyline. I had so many questions but then realized I didn't care enough to find out more.

Twin Shifter Lions?!

I'm gonna start by saying I don't normally read shifter books. I think it has to do with how over done they are since vampires and werewolves became so popular, but I'm starting to think I've been unfair. I've been trying to give unique shifter concepts a chance recently and I'm starting to realize, if done right and in a unique way, they can be quite fun and entertaining. So, when I saw a book about shifter lion twins, I thought, that sounds like it has potential. And I was rewarded for my daring. Any book I can read from start to finish deserves high marks. I could definitely read more about this small pride. So, now I move on to why I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. If I don't like a book, I just won't finish it, so, for me to make it to the end says that it was a good story. The only real problem I had was the way the story split in the middle abruptly and switched gears so fast it could have given me whiplash. Halfway through the story breaks, as if a second book with the same characters had begun. Still, I motored on and was rewarded with more good story. So, other than the fact the second half of the book could use another editing once over, for wrong words not writing, I would have to say I enjoyed the book thoroughly and could read it again. I hope to see more fun and unique stories like this from this author, I'd read them all.

This was an odd story. The first part of the story was good, but then when that scenario ended another story began. It was the same main character's, but it was clearly a part 2 or even a second installment all together. The second part of the book I didn't really care for. There wasn't enough explanation or back story so there is a lot of confusion. I felt like different scenarios were just being thrown in to heighten suspense, but it fell short and made it unbelievable. I realize a lion shifter story is obviously not believable, but the one week old 8 year old was a little too much, and the murdering old man was the kicker. I almost DNF.

Found this on Amazon not too long ago, FREE.
I've had some hits and misses with freebies, more misses than hits (sadly).
I'm not a quitter, it's hard for me to DNF a book and I'm a huge indie supporter, so I keep trying them out while hoping for some awesomeness.
With that said, this here story needs some serious editing. It has potential to be a fun and sexy read. It just needs work. The errors truly take away from the story. There's a huge difference between "boots" and "books", isn't there?
I wish the author the very best and hope she's able to fix this up!

Confused

It's a good story, so please don't hesitate to read it based on the rating. The problem I had was that a story ended and another began without much fan faire. The second part of the book was not proofed as much as the first part was and it introduced entirely new characters without any explanation or back story so you don't really know what is going on. I don't know whether I will read another book from this author of not.

I have to say first this is a new author for me and she left me first in laughter. Then as the plot went on with the different twist that I was kept wanting to read.

Just about the time you think it will end in a happily ever after she adds a new twist that just makes the story that much richer! Amazing story line but she does need an editor!

Good read

The story catches you off guard by going from a menagerie to lion shifter to wanting to mate and continue the line but the story kinda unfolds seamlessly.but there are some surprising turns and happenings that leave you wondering. Overall a good read.

I don't know why Amanda hasn't met the man of her dreams yet. She is incredibly smart, funny and ridiculously tough...or so she'll tell you. This was one of the most self centered characters I've ever read and I only got through a couple of chapters.

More Love With Two

I like reading the shifter romance stories. They are usually so attentive to their future mates. Twin mates for one woman makes for lots of sizzle. Well-written story.

Despite some oddnesses, there was enough to like about this story that it made it into the 4 star range. Nice premise and a bit more gritty than many romances.

it was just weird. Not a whole lot of talking, but lots of inner dialogue. Then it jumped forward about six months and interesting story line started happening, but it was still weird.

Double the fun

Exciting from the first chapter. The storyline pulls you in, full of drama, laughs, and hot, sexy guys. You are pulling for these characters from the start.

Wow! This is a book that, not only gives us the best of shifters and ménage, but also gives us a quirk that I haven’t read before, a totally new twist on shifters. After yet another dreadful “first date”, Amanda cries on her best friend’s shoulder, but not until she brings the stalker-like date who followed her home and tried to control her. Little did he know just who he was dealing with. After hearing about the date from Hell, Jen lets slip about an unknown dating site, operated by one of her clients. Once she’s alone, and seriously questioning her life and where it’s going, Amanda decides to check it out. What she wasn’t expecting was to lay her eyes on the two most beautiful men she’s ever seen. When Grear and Grayson see the new addition to the dating site, they know she’s the one. And, once the twins make the decision, there’s no stopping them.
Packed full of suspense, mad men, stalkers, a bit of hot threesomes and a little Hope, this book will have you on the edge of your seat and drooling all at the same time. Well written and easy to fall into, this book is a must read.

It is an interesting story of a woman looking for a man who is strong enough to be in a real relationship with her. Amanda has been disappointed too often but men who are either scared of her or make too strong moves and uninvited attempts at dating her.

When she learns about a dating website, she takes a chance after seeing so many sexy men featured. She is brought to the attention of twins. She was not expecting a relationship with two men but it does equally scare and intrigue her. After meeting them, she realizes she is attracted to both Grear and Grayson and they have many similar interests.

She is also dealing with a man at work that is inappropriate and won't leave her alone and a stalker. Luckily her new men own a security business and make it their mission to protect her. They also have to reveal the fact that they are shifters to her and see how she accepts that news,

In the second part of the book, the men rescue a child and it leads to a very risky chase from the man who wants her back and will kill anyone in his way.

I enjoyed the story and the characters. I particularly liked Amanda. She is a strong woman and knows how to take care of herself. She really can handle herself regardless of the circumstances. Grear and Grayson are very loving and protective and work hard to make her happy. There are also just fun moments between them all.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

This was a weird book for me and I am having a hard time reading this review. The book is broken up into two distinct parts and it was liking reading two separate novellas.

The first portion of the book had Amanda being stalked/harassed by three separate men. She meets the twins and falls for them. Once she finds out what they were, she runs and is attacked. The second portion of the book happens several months later and all of a sudden she is in love with the twins and pregnant. It was strange. What happened in between? That would have been the best part.

The book was just crazy. There was a really obvious lack of dialogue between characters, especially in the first portion. I just felt disconnected the entire time like I was missing something important.

DNF at 22%. This book is all tell, no show. We're told the h Amanda is a witty and entertaining conversationalist.. But I have literally seen nothing of the sort. The only conversations I've read are mundane ho-hum boring shit. This book so far has been chaotic switching POV (not very smoothly), boring sporadic dialogue, and we get the everyday details of shit that is completely unnecessary to the story- but miss pertinent info. Who cares how often or how much work the h has if we have no idea what the hell she actually does for a job? I tried to stick it out, but I find I just don't care. Onward to the next book.

A somewhat different trilling shifter story you have to have read!

I really liked this book. I love shifter books and especially books where the story is not only about the romance but where also something more dangerous/ trilling is happening.
I must admit that I first had trouble reading it because of the different person angel writing per chapter, but when I adapted I couldn't put this book down. I recommend this book to anyone who likes shifters and trilling storylines!

Not my cup of tea

This story would have been much better if it would have been a nice read but the characters didn't have any development or that much dialog and the plot twist come rite out other blue. (Ex: she is in the hospital, to she's pregnant and living with the twins on the mountain, then its like another book that may have been mixed in to try and make the story longer)

Good story with twists

Good story. My only issue is I think this book would have been better as two different books. The beginning started out with the three main characters getting to know each other. I think the author should've expanded this part before jumping to a new plot. I was kinda hard to jump like that but the second plot sucked me in. I couldn't put it down.

Lion times two

Amanda meets the love of her life after the date from hell. It just so happens that Amanda's love is two lion shifters, twins, Great and Grayson. The twist and turns had me turning page after page. Throw in little Hope and you have a wonderful book. Trust me it is worth the time and money to read.

Great story

I really enjoyed this book. Not only was the shifter part good, the entire plot of the book was great. I do not read a lot of shifter books, but I really liked this author.

too much plot for this brief story. let's see: office harassment, deranged stalker nearly kills the heroine, lion shifter twins find a lion shifting child who turns out to be a cloning experiment by a billionaire trying to take over the world...

Just when I thought it was over

Once Amanda found the brothers and they defeated her stalker, I figured the story was done, which was why I was pleasantly surprised when they got called in to look for a missing kid. Great story.

Hopefully in Love

I loved the happy endings for all the characters. Loved The twins too. The transition to Hope's story seemed abrupt but not so much that it affected my enjoyment of the other stories.
