Okay, so look: I'm not into reality TV. I don't know who Piers Letocci is, or why every girl in America is head over heels for him. I only know that I have to interview Piers about his new show, The Billionaire Dating Game. Fifteen minutes of journalistic duty, and I'm out of there.
Or so I thought.
Piers isn't just some random celebrity. He's the guy I kissed at the coffeeshop last night. Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome, who wouldn't tell me his real name when he set my whole body on fire with just one kiss. I never thought I'd see him again, but... there he is, sitting across from me, with that same charming glint in his eye.
I've never believed in soulmates. Piers might just prove me wrong.
Now, I'm not just interviewing him about his show... somehow, I'm on it. And it's up to me to prove that I have what it takes to date a billionaire. If I lose, I may never see Piers again. And if I win...
The Billionaire Dating Game is a sweet, funny and easy read. This one reminded me a lot like Rachel Van Dyken’s The Consequence of Revenge. It had the same dating theme, tone and feel. I liked that book as well.
This isn’t the typical book where the girl goes on the show to win the billionaire. Okay, wait it is. She does go on the show to date the billionaire, but she’s tricked into dating him, however, she doesn’t fall for the main guy. She falls for the TV host! But I’m getting ahead of myself.
The book starts out really comical and the Heroine is on a bad blind date. All is not lost when she meets with a mask man and he kisses her. Very random, but I was intrigued. Lisa is a writer and she is position to interview Piers, who is the host of the TV show. He’s also the man that she kissed! Cute right?
I’m not going to lie, I was disappointed Piers wasn’t the main guy. I don’t know how I feel about Lisa being on a TV show, trying to win the affection of the main guy when she is letting Piers go down on her on side. It kind of feels like cheating. In Lisa’s difference she does try to get booted off, but she realizes she needs to stay on the show for non-selfish reasons.
I didn’t hate the book, but there was something off about the read. I think it’s because I wanted Piers to be the main guy and I thought there was a tiny bit lack of chemistry between Lisa and Piers. Every time they met, they would have steamy sexy time, but there wasn’t any REAL connection.
I also skimmed a bit in this book because I didn’t care for Lisa’s sister or her boss. I found it boring.
Overall, I’ll give this author another go because I did laugh a few times and it was overall a sweet book.

What would you do If YOU could Date a Billionaire ? This book is a fresh outlook on how to date a billionaire and the pitfalls that come the herione’s way when she does. The story starts when Lisa was out on a bad date that she got set up on by her BFF and ends up running into a sexy and mysterious man who sets her on fire. They do not exchange names but Lisa wishes she had because he was the something she had been looking for. Lisa works as a journalist for Moi Magazine but fat lot that does her. They treat her really bad there. If I was her, when I was reading this book, I wished at times she would have just told them to kiss it and jumped ship to another company but she stayed. Lisa is tasked to interview Piers Letocci, reality host of “The Billionaire Dating Game” and he ends up getting Lisa to interview for his show. When you see how she does it, you will be amazed at how he is tricky like that. And just like that, she is on “The Billionaire Game” Piers is sexy and smart. He is also mysterious- there is something about him that is deep. You never know what Piers you will get when you are with him—The camera ready Piers that is cold and self absorbed- one who doesn’t give a care or the private Piers, that one is sensual , sexy and appears to love while the public face doesn’t want love or doesn’t love at all. Which Piers does Lisa have? Piers has to hide who he really is when they are together which I found sad at times. Lisa is a good person because of how she took care of her sister and baby niece. Lisa has to work to provide for her family yet her job is horrible and here she is on a show and she is in love with a guy that is unattainable. What is she to do? If it was me, I would say screw the game and tell the guy who I feel but Lisa couldn’t and was afraid what to do. Her life was in such a mess. Then we have the guy on Billionaire Dating Game--Dylan Chase- he was a total sweetie. I think it would have been nice if he got his own book but I am glad that he got his own HEA at the end. I was so glad to see Lisa and Piers go thru this roller coaster of a ride together because they do belong together. Their actions and reactions to everything made this story so good. Their scenes when they got hot and heavy were soooo good. I loved it and I cannot wait to read wheat is next by this author. Maybe Lisa’s sister could get her own story next…it would be nice to see her and the little baby find love with a handsome billionaire (wink)
My rating: 4.8 stars *****
*A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review*
I was disappointed! I thought the hero was the billionaire!! I was waiting for a... I'M THE BILLIONAIRE! You win, and I'm gonna take you somewhere far and give you the world..blah blah blah... but it didn't happen...
I love the spa massage, it was like watching porn!
I got bored around 55%, the rest were okay after that.
I was expecting the host to wind up being the billionaire. lol but was I wrong. i don't like how no one addressed the fact that Kate was playing her. I would have aired her out from the get go. but turned out in the end. I totally cried for that baby though.
Really fun book about a woman who meets a mysterious masked man during a horrible date only to find out he's more than she thinks. To a very sizzling elevator scene to finds herself on a reality show dealing with catty women all fighting for a man that's a billionaire. Lots of drama, some emotional moments and humour kept my attention and enjoying this book.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
What Would You Do To Win? The Billionaire Dating Game will completely captivate your heart. Intriguing from the start, it has a good mix of angst, drama, suspense, and romance. The writing is great, the characters interesting, and the story captivating.
I liked that the story wasn't predictable -- a lot of things happened that I didn't see coming (after reading as many romances as I have, not a lot of surprises for me anymore)
Lisa was really likable. Piers was kind of a wild card. The other characters and plotlines outside the dating show kept things fresh
a fun and sexy book for readers who like a bit if excitement in thier life..who love fun and games a story of soulmates.. fate... matches between pizzaboy and a diva ... billionaire and a single mother.... Sibilings relationship.. etc it raises questions about what all would you do to win? also will love find you when your not looking for it in the form of a masked tv host?
hmm...what can I say about this book? I loved the story line and the characters. There was definitely chemistry between Lisa and Piers. It just took them a minute to realize that there was something there. And because of that, Piers coerced Lisa into something that she did not want to do. I guess in a way it was a good thing, because then they realized that there was something was there and had their happy ever after
Recently I have been on a book DNF dirge. I started several books and couldn’t even finish the ones I liked. Since I have not read a comedy in a while, I wanted to do what normal readers do: REREAD. I was not disappointed. I laughed every time I opened this book. Perhaps the concept is fresher now, since reality TV and The Bachelor disappeared into the back of the televerse.
Lisa is the BBW, curvy, confident (mostly), and desperate for love. No wonder; her work life was uninspiring. She obtained the job of her dreams just to find her journalistic talents were wasted on filler articles, and she was working nights and weekends.
After the most uninspiring blind date her sister had arranged, she met a man in a mask. Let’s just say, that romantic meeting was perfect. One kiss and I was hooked (😃)!
❤️ The Romance: ❤️
Piers and Lisa didn’t have vanilla sex. The elevator scene was funny and unique, and later they had a tryst in a pool with celebrity snakes. Yeah, I didn’t see that coming! Their attraction was hot and bothered. While I might have wanted fewer paragraphs of description, the smut was definitely interesting.
The actual Billionaire Lisa was almost/maybe/maybe not vying for was a superhero-loving, chicken nugget kind of man, and he was so sweet he didn’t deserve the liars and cheats garnering his attention. However, the ending was so brilliant, I teared up. I don’t want to give anything away, but all the characters had heart. You should read it.
========================================================================= Review in 2016: I was in the mood for a quirky, funny romance, and this novel was perfect. It started with Lisa on a bad date, but what really reeled me in and kept me reading after lisa was corralled into joining the dating show. I thought that part was a little lame, but it made sense later on. Her first contest is a cooking contest, and she makes chicken fingers. Okay, you gotta love a woman who is willing to create a mcdonald's dinner for a contest. So I looked up Aubrey Dark's other novels, but they were different. I want more.
If you like this novel, it reminds me of the books Vicki Loebel and Jill Myles write. Funny, odd but not impossible situations for the characters, and quick reads. Try them.
I received this for an honest review. I just love Aubrey Dark’s books. This book has some pretty emotional parts for me. Yip, I needed a box of tissue for everything surrounding Lisa’s niece. Sorry you will have to read the book to find out more.
The was this book started out was just way to funny. I am not certain I would let me best friend set me up on a date again. Yip, Lisa’s best friend set her up on a bad date. We have all been on a few bad dates but this one was pretty bad but you know not everything about that night was bad. Sorry want to know more, well read the book.
Lisa was a journalist for Moi Magazine. I almost felt sorry for Lisa. She deserved better then the way the magazine treated her. Lisa finds herself having to interview Piers Letocci. Piers was the reality host of “The Billionaire Dating Game”. I think it is funny that Piers tricked Lisa into interviewing for the show.
Piers was nice looking. He was use to having a camera crew around him all the time. He liked to get out where no one new who he was. Piers on the outside appeared cold, arrogant, self absorbed, and one not capable of love. There was so much to him then met the eye. He had to cover up a lot. No one ever saw the true Piers.
Lisa was in trouble. Her heart was on the line. Things were going to hell in her job and in her home life. The main important things in her life was her sister and her niece and she was feeling pretty helpless in that area.
There was so many of the contestants that you will grow to hate. Kate on one hand was one that I loved. She had a good heart. Kate was falling for the bachelor that the girls were competing for.
Dylan Chase was not what you would think when you thought billionaire. To funny reading about his first appearance and the first competition. He had two favorites in the show and that was Kate and Lisa. Who will get the billionaire? What will become of Piers? Will Lisa be able to help her niece?
If you like to laugh and read about steamy scenes that you might imagine reenacting with your significant other, than you will love this book! This book reminded me of reading one Darynda Jones' books--the sex scenes were steamy and the rest of it had me laughing my butt off!
Lisa is an unappreciated employee at a magazine called Moi. She's forced to write fluff pieces and do graphics editing to help support not only herself, but her sister and niece as well. Her relationship with her sister very much reminded me of mine with my little brother, so I fell in love with both of them right away.
She's forced to do an interview on a TV show host named Piers. He's hosting a show about dating a Billionaire, and Lisa's cynical side shows itself in spades. He only agrees to do her interview after she sits in a chair across from him as an interviewee for the Billionaire Dating game show. The attraction and heat between these two is so intense, but Lisa believes that she can't trust Piers to be real since he such a high profile celebrity. After being coerced into being on the show in order to do her first major article for the magazine, she gets to see both sides of Piers. But she's just there to write an article...at least that's what she keeps telling herself.
The Billionaire Dating game reminds me of the Bachelor, but with a definite twist that you won't see coming. There are contestants that are catty, and then ones that you are routing for to win. So much happens in this book that will have you panting, laughing, and even crying. This book to me was a little bit "lighter" compared to Aubrey Dark's Dark Billionaire Series, but I definitely loved it. Laughing in the beginning while Lisa was on her very bad first date had me hooked!

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a FANTASTIC and AWESOME book. It had humor, it had love, it had sex, and all in the perfect amounts. It also had twists and turns, some funny, some serious, some sad, and some happy. All wrapped up into one AWESOME read.
Piers - starts off masked playing a piano trying to keep his identity a secret....eyes landing on someone that drew him in, led him right to her heart. Lisa - starts off on a date that is going anywhere but in a good direction. He is all wrong for her she is ready to leave and actually is leaving when the piano playing masked man catches up with her.
Piers is the host of a reality tv program "The Billionaire Dating Game", Lisa is a journalist for Moi magazine....her assignment should she accept it is to interview Piers. She doesn't accept it but has to do this interview, He is not happy about this either and plays a little trick on her and interviews her for the show. she makes it. (Not giving anything more away than this he explains why he did that....swoon worthy) Then tragedy in Lisa's family happens. She is without a job now, without being on the show for the money, and the goodness in humanity shows up in the most unlikely forms.
This is a light hearted, laughter filled, tear shed at times book......all in one. I love this book. Aubrey Dark has a new fan. I can not wait to read more of her books. I know that just like this one, you are brought in from the start and carried all the way through.
“It’s an emergency. I can’t reach my penis. You’ll have to wash it for me.” Piers
Piers!!! ‘Nough said!
This man is the epitome of book boyfriend! Move over Dominic Segretti, you now have to share your throne with Piers Letocci as my book boyfriend. But there is more than enough of me for you two to share!!!
I cannot for the life of me praise Aubrey Dark for her writing. She literally keeps me on my toes with every book she writes. Whether it be a contemporary romance or dark. She captivates me.
You first met Piers in Bad for Me, but this is a stand-alone. I was sooooo glad to see Piers get his HEA. If anyone deserves it, he was the one. I liked how Aubrey portrayed Piers in this book. How he always had this fake persona when he was in front of the camera. I thought there might have might have been something like that in Bad for Me, you can tell he wasn’t too happy, and it really shows in this book. However, upon meeting Lisa, the sparks fly as there is instant attraction between those two.
Lisa is amazing. Her character was well thought out as a strong confident woman, which I love. I cannot wait to see what Aubrey has in store for us next. I do have to admit though, I am jonesin for a Dark book of hers. I just might have to re-read Mine. I can always use a Rein fix.
It was different and not what I expected. I thought somehow Piers would end up the billionaire but he didn't.
The scenes between Lisa and Piers were hot.
It was hilarious. I laughed out loud during the soap acting scene that Lisa did.
This book would have gotten 5 stars if the kindle version from my kindle unlimited wasn't so full of errors. I'm not sure if maybe it might not be the official version but still.
Anyways, there were inconsistencies. Like during the fighter jet part. It mentioned that Piers and Lisa were red hitting blue. Then Dylan and Kate goes over and says go blue team and Lisa says go red team but when they were announcing the winners, they said blue team won and had Lisa saying yes and Dylan saying no. It even said that Lisa and Piers got second for blue team. I mean like what the heck. I was so confused.
Another thing was Kate introduced herself as a chef and at the end Piers announced her as a waitress. So what was her job.
I'm sure there are many other things but these made the book seem all over the place that the author forgot little details.
I did like what Piers did at the end for Lisa. That was sweet. It also was not what I expected to happen. I thought he would just give her some money because he is rich but this was even sweeter.
Wow! What a great read!! This is my first book by Aubrey Dark and I loved it. It's very well written. It's funny, romantic, sad and sexy. Lisa goes on the worst blind date ever only to have a happy ending to the night after her date left. She goes to do an interview with Piers Lettoci only to find out he is the hottie she kissed last night. Somehow she ends up on his show and things really get sexy and hot after that. Jealousy, anger, and romance abound. Then tragedy strikes in the form of cancer in her niece. Can she finds away to pay for the treatments while her life goes down the tubes. Will love conquer all? What a read. Aubrey Dark is now on my list to definitely read now!
I was given this e-book by the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. My conclusions are my own. I was not compensated in any way.
This book is a fun, slightly over the top romantic comedy. Both the hero and heroine are likeable, and as a reader you're happy that they get together. My only criticism is some of the back story timeline doesn't add up. The heroine is living with her sister and helping to raise her niece. In the back story, the sister gets pregnant at 17, has the baby at 18, and the heroine steps up and drops out of college to help. Since the niece is only two, that would make the sister 20 and the heroine early 20's at most, yet the story also states that the heroine has been a journalist for ten years, and that, in her early 30's, she's a decade older than the other contestants in the dating game contest. As a picky reader, these kinds of details matter to me. Other than that , this was a fun read.
I received this for my honest review. this has been a great read from start to read that will have you on so many levels of emotions, I absolutely loved it. Lisa is fed up of not finding Mr Right well with the hours as a journalist then home to help her sister with a little one where will she find the time right...... wrong. She was set up on the worst blind date that she could imagine but ends up kissing a masked hunk of a stranger and left to dream about him. That is until she gets sent on an assignment to interview a millionaire TV host, who is doing a reality show on Dating a Billionaire and yes its her masked hunk.............. now you will have to get it to find out all the story. I loved it and the characters are brilliant so once again fantastic story by this author.
I downloaded a copy of this book through my Kindle Unlimited subscription. It was one of those recommendations on my Amazon page and when I read the description I thought the premise sounded interesting. I hadn't read anything involving a reality TV show about dating a billionaire so I figured why not try it. I have to say that I enjoyed reading this book. It has a little bit of everything, love, romance, steamy scenes, sadness, family with some twists and turns that you might not expect. I thought the main characters were pretty well written for a story of this type and were likable. In fact, the one girl on the reality show that was the token villein even had you rooting for her at the end.
it's really interesting book, you may watch the reality show in TV, may be movie, but it is new expereince to read it via book, so many real that you should in love with it, even you are not the who love watching reality.
Life always not easy for everyone, whoever you are, if you are rich, billionaire, may be things can be much better, at least you have money to deal with your problems, fancy car, clothes may be make you forget something.
the girls in the show, they just looking for a dream, whatever their dream is, they are looking for them. a love, soulmate(?), a better life?
what are the men looking for? a parnter to walk through their life? a successful career? no matter what you are looking for, wish you all the best and get it in the end.
I have to admit - when I first picked this book up, I thought it would be an easy "beach read". Something light & bubbly that I wouldn't have to think too hard about. I've never been so happy to be proven wrong in my life. This story was MUCH more than the blurb would leave you to believe. I laughed, cried, yelled at my kindle a few times & even wanted to toss it at one point - but that's the hallmark of a great book. I can't remember the last time I came across a character that was so BELIEVABLE. Lisa was so REAL that I wouldn't be surprised to run into her on the street somewhere. And Piers... *SWOON*. I'm not going to go into the plot other than to say that you're going to need some Kleenex on hand.
I enjoy every book Ms. Dark writes. This was no exception. Lisa is an unappreciated journalist who is given the strangest tasks and column titles. Pierce is a TV host who seems to be disillusioned about the whole reality TV business. Enters Lisa. Fot a completly different thing but nevertheless he wants her. He apparently finds that something, that mysterious spark in Lisa as he draggs her into his world. One thing he didn't see coming was his own feeling once Lisa stepped into the madness. A very good book. Interesting characters. A good amount of drama and angst.
If you need to laugh, cry and rekindle your belief in love, this is the book for you. Piers and Lisa come together briefly while Lisa is on a date with someone else and sparks fly. These two are an unlikely pair but, there is no denying chemistry. Fate brings the two together as contestant and host of a reality dating show , which leads to some sexy and comedic moments. Make sure you keep your tissues handy because there are moments when will laugh until you cry and cry until it hurts. I hate reviews that rehash the entire book leaving nothing to look forward to, so all I'll say is grab this book because you will love it!!!
I always hate when I start a review with "eh." Obviously, someone worked his/her ass off to write this story and to them, the story is amazing. But, sometimes, a lot lately, the story just falls flat. Other than the encounter at the poetry bar, the H/h hardly spend any time together. They have nothing in common. It was all just sex-- then he's throwing out the 3 words every woman wants to hear, but why? There was no relationship. Not only that, but the premise of the book, was seriously lacking in follow-through. Timelines seemed fudged. Events were non-events, and it just really was unrealistic. Anyway, it had some cute moments, but it wasn't anything special, dang it.
This book was good funny. Not that type of funny like you're laughing the whole time but there are so good laughs in the book. So she started off kissing a stranger after she dump her date. Then this stranger end up being the person who host a tv show. She didn't know he was famous. He thought she was stalking him. She had to interview him and he started interviewing her. He was playing a joke at first then the joke became real to him. He started stalking her making her part of the show so he can spend more time with her. Fast forward something happen with her family and you got to finish the book to find out what happens to them.
Lisa Foresster is interviewing Piers Letocci for the magazine she works for, she doesn't know yet that she has met him before, very briefly. She arrives to interview Piers on the set of the TV reality show he will be hosting, The Billionaire Dating Game. The interview doesn't go well, but she ends up as one of the contestants on the show! I laughed so hard it hurt, and then wanted to cry. Fantastic, well written characters! I loved this book!
I received this ARC free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I think this by far my favorite Aubrey Dark book!! I really didn't love Piers in the other books but this one!! Wow, he really did me in for the first part of it!!! He's sooo sexy, so explicit and so HOT!!! Don't get me wrong, Dylan the other male character was good too! This story line was awesome, don't particularly like Arlen's story about her illness but i'm glad she wrote that way! I'm glad she wrote the ending she way did as well!! I definitely would recommend this one to anyone who listens!!!
