As a vegan and diet of plant based foods, as well as food allergies, I highly recommend Julie Morris's hardcover Superfood collection: (The Superfood Smoothies, Superfood Juices, Superfood Soups, and Superfood Snacks are the same size). Superfood Kitchen is larger.

I am pretty picky about cookbooks (photography and quality recipes). If you are into healthy eating, without giving up flavor and selection, these beautiful books have it all! My favorite is the Superfood Smoothies; however, the Superfood Soup is great too. A wide selection. I have tried many recipes and have bookmarked many pages. Very well done!

Praise for Superfood Soups! I find myself eating soups much more after buying this book. All of the recipes are clean and filled with boosts of micronutrients, satisfying the foodie in me. The soups are beyond restaurant quality; good enough to serve large groups of people. This book is great for anyone on a plant-based diet, or not. You wouldn’t even know the recipes are made just from plants.

I was looking for a cookbook with easy to make soups and this one was not it. The soups all looked delicous but many called for ingredients that are not easily found and readily available where I live.

Impressive collection. The recipes are clear and seem easy to perform. The one off possible difficulty is that a number of the ingredients are unusual and possibly difficult to find.

I had high hopes for this cookbook but the recipes honestly looked disgusting. Who puts maca powder in soup? Blech.

Another great Superfood series! Now my 2 favorites are this one and Superfood Snacks. I was surprised to see the Julie recommends canned beans for soups. I can't wait to try the broths in the beginning, and a few of the other recipes sounded delicious. I enjoyed reading her take on bone broths. The recipes include a lot of the superfoods I don't stock regularly (wakame, millet, etc), but I recognized many of the names and have seen the products at my local Whole Foods or Sprouts or Trader Joes or Natural Grocers, so I know how to get them. I also like how Julie includes a substitution chart in the back in case I just happen to be out of goji berries. Looking forward to what Julie cooks up next!

This book is packed full of recipes consisting of very nutritious but difficult to find and expensive ingredients. I only made the soup that is pictured on the cover but it was delicious!
