Sinclair

I am who I am, and no one’s strong enough to change that. Except him; Alexander Pierce; the walking, talking sex God. However, the outside can trick you because that man’s the bane of my freaking existence. Here I am tattooing it up in the greater city of Detroit, and in walks that fine piece of ass. A piece I haven’t seen or heard from since that amazing night fourteen years ago; when I was sixteen. He left me after one night; heartbroken, barefoot, and pregnant. Now I find myself between a rock and hard place. The rock being our son, and the hard place being him. What the hell am I going to do?

Alex

Nothing could ever make me ready to see her again. The short, scrumptious, little morsel that turned my life upside down all those years ago. She thinks I don’t remember her, but how could I forget? She’s the only woman that’s ever seen me, for me. The only one that can successfully penetrate my hardened exterior. I find myself thinking of her often, and remembering our time together. And that had me wondering, did she remember me?

I Received This Book from the Author "

This book was definitely a great read. I thought it was going to be Taboo with the age difference between Sin & Alex, however it was not. I was pleasantly surprised.

Sin is your feisty tattoo artist that also happens to be a mother of Triple A. She became pregnant in her teens after doing the deed with her neighbor, which also happened to be her first time. She works hard to care for her son, but is thankful to have supportive parents. Throughout her life, she still cant get over her first love, her sons' father, Alex Pierce. So to say she is shocked when he walks into the tatoo parlor she works in, is a true understatement. Over the next three weeks Alex continues to come in and get inked by the owner, James. Alex is successful with his security business and only has time for his business and his training in the gym. When he sees Sinclair again, all his feelings become more real. Dreaming about her was one thing, but seeing her in the flesh is a whole other thing for him. He knows that she thinks he doesn't remember her, however that couldnt be anything farther from the truth. The one girl to get in deep was Sin and thats why he ran before aftee their first night or first time together. Little does he know that he didnt just run from Sin, but he ran from a secret baby that is the spitten image of him. Alex tries and fails to stay away from Sin. When these two get together, fireworks and electricity occurs. Alex though being a Man, cant get his head out of his rear and almost blows it with Sin during a very intimate moment. Can these two learn to be willing to let go of the past, or will the toxicity take over and be beautifully damaged?

This is my first book by this author, but I look forward to reading more and seeing her artistic flow continue!!!!

Beautifully Toxic starts out when Sin is sixteen years old. She's just like any other teenager, wanting to have fun and crushing on the boy next door. The prologue was a great introduction and I really felt the connection from the characters. The story jumps to fourteen years later and I wasn't expecting it to go that way. As I continued to read on, Sin and Alex didn't have the life together like I hoped. Alex up leaves Sin, leaving her to deal with heartbreak and raising a child on her own.
Sin was a hardcore chick and she doesn't let anything get to her. I understood why she closed her heart off long ago, but you could tell right away she still held a torch for Alex. Both act like they didn't know each other, because they didn't really know how to act. I could understand that, neither knew how to move on after that one night together. Now, Alex was hot and cold to me. At times I liked him then other times he could be a bit overbearing.
There was a few things I found that didn't really go well with this one. Sin is holding a huge secret and I didn't like she waited so long to tell Alex. I really thought the ending would show more of Sin and Alex being together but it fell short. I also felt the characters were a bit immature for their age. Some of the things they would say made me think they were in their early twenties.
Overall, it was a good read and a lot of things I didn't like I could look over. The storyline was a good one and I'm looking forward to seeing what will come next out of the series.

I'm a sucker for the "girl left pregnant and old flame/the dad entering their lives later on"

You have the girl next door who has her eyes on the bad boy next door. She is in love in a stalkeish kinda way. When she finally get him everything changes for Sinclair.
14 years later we have tripleA who's I would love to read and his character makes you want to jump straight to his story. And the reunion makes you love him even more. (Eww Now I feel like a cougar ewww)

Anyway. There's lots of good reasons to why you should read this book. I won't go through them all because of the risk of spoilers. (I hate them) but there are few things with the storyline that had me confused, all but one thing is explained later on and the last thing will in "my book" be called a typo error.

I liked this story and the characters were a bit dark at some points. But I would have loved a few flashbacks of Alex's childhood to better understand where he's coming from. I would also like to hear more about the family backgrounds. What they do for a living and why they are the way they are. We hear All about what Alexs and Sinclairs friends are doing. NOTE!!!! It might be mentioned in the book and me not remembering it.

During the prologue you get an image of the family and their lives that doesn't really hold up with the descriptions in the first chapters and it can get a bit confusing at times but hang in there and you'll get your answers throughout the following chapters.

OMFG and WOW... Are the first two words i can think of regarding this book. Which considering it left me in tears and breathless is pretty good in my eyes!
Sinclair was 16 when an 18 year old Alex took her virginity... One time of great mind blowing off the chart sex was all they shared... Well maybe not...
14 years on and Sinclair works at Get Inked tattoo shop where Alex comes for some new tatts. They both know who they are yet neither will mention that one time!
The feelings and energy between is electric and you can literally feel the buzz they share.
The journey of two lost loves finding each other is one hell of a rocky road... Especially with one huge kickass secret!!!
What will happen when secrets are exposed?
Will they finally be able to open their hearts fully to each other?
Will they get a HEA or are the secrets too much that they will get pulled apart forever?
Be warned... You will need tissues whilst reading this book because you are definately going to be emotional in so many ways. This book is a 10/10 read and my heartfelt thanks to LM Roberts for bringing these two beautiful characters to life for us all to enjoy!!!

So this story broke me to pieces. I love how stories can just have your emotions all over the place. I fell in love with these characters. The dynamic of the characters Sin and Alex were explosive. They have this love that everyone wishes they could have. But they do not want to tell each other. It is kind of an instalovey book but it was just such a great story. Such an epic romance. I just really really enjoyed it so much.
There is only one thing I would change. That in my opinion just drove me crazy. When he kept calling her 'little girl' I hated that phrase. I know it was their 'thing.' But it drove me crazy. First of all they are right around the same age. Give or take a couple years. To me its just not a phrase you should say. Other than that these characters were amazing. I am now anticipating reading the next book in the series.
If you are a young adult reading this. I personally would not read it because there are explicit words and ALOT of sex involved. Otherwise its this great epic story of 2 characters connecting. I just loved it so so much.

I really enjoyed this book, but for me layout of the story didn't really hit the mark. I know it's not my story it's the authors but I would have liked to see how Sin and Pierce's relationship developed after Sin's secret was revealed because I don't think keeping that kind of secret is instantly forgivable and the book would have been a lot more rounded with the part of story there to read. I also found the been in love for the past 14 years a bit weird and Pierce's OCD issues felt like in parts of the story they were really prevalent and in other parts it felt like the author forgot he had so OCD issues. In saying this I liked the book and I intend to read the next one in the series. So if you are interesting in the synopsis give it a try because it's cheap, the writing is pretty good just might find you enjoy it like I did. Also it was a quick read so it says it has 242 pages I think but I seriously doubt that it actually is that long.

This was an okay book for me kind of amateurish and some facts didn't add up to others and their ages were never clear because of the differences that weren't changed to make sense! It needed to be edited and some of the parts that should have been serious were turned "funny" but weren't funny and it seemed like the author couldn't write a serious scene. & gawd another female character to hate! Sin or Sinclair doesn't tell Alex that he has a son and the reasons aren't that good and then we find out just a glimpse of Alex's horrible childhood because he tells Sin in a mad rush after he find out he has a son at the very end of the book.. For me this story didn't develop for me and seemed rushed and thrown together without real thought put into it

I recieved this book from the author for and honest review, and honestly this is a must read book.
The book grabs you buy both ear and forces you to pay attention. The introduction had me reading the book as fast as I could and falling in love with the characters. Alex and Sin are an amazing couple but I can't wait for all the hotties to come in contact with a strong independent woman, especially Sin's brothers and of course Alex's friends.
Impatiently waiting for the next book.

This book literally just dropped in my kindle and thank god. I wasn't sure what I was exactly getting into without reading any reviews and just going with the synopsis, but this was a diamond in the rough. Alex is very strong willed and big headed, in a good way, and Sinclair was stubborn and bad ass, so together they were explosive! I can't wait for Tank's story and hopefully someone of these guys!!!

This story has a story. Its a little strung out but it's a good one. I like all the characters and I hope to get to know more. I know this is a vague review but I don't want to spoil.
