Book easy to read with many general tips which are good and easy to implement. However there were couple of points where author says "best way" to keep health whereas there are other ways to do even better.
I was extremely skeptical about this book, but decided to give it a go anyway. Of the 100 common sense items, I was already aware of all but one or two of them.
The author doesn't assume he's telling you something new, however. It's easy to read and understand and written in a non-judgemental way. As I was reading, I made myself notes on 17 items to follow up on improving in my own life.
I love practical, do-able, science-based how-to tips about how to feel better and look better. This easy-to-read book fills the bill, with a friendly tone and notes of humor as additional bonuses. Well done!
I learnt a lot of facts about how the body and the brain works (and why). It allowed me to look at things that I usually wouldn't think about and rather than just focusing on exercise and diet, it also included things to improve your mental health and other health issues too. 100% recommend.
A few tips that were new to me and that I would like to follow. A few tips were not relevant, but many more were good reminders of what I want to be more diligent about doing. All in all, this was a helpful book,
Some great tips, lots of really good tips, some ok tips. Overall a very good book written in a way that's easy to pick up and read a few tips a day. Definitely worth checking out.
Some good tips to get and stay healthy. Some I already knew but it was good to have the reasons why explained. It made me more likely to make the changes
The book offers a list of popular and general suggestions without providing any supporting evidence. This is very weak and hence unconvincing. I give it just ONE STAR.
A great blend of what I consider well-known advice and health tips in an easy to read format with clear explanations for following the recommendations. Definitely worth a look if you need these reminders to live a healthier life.
I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review on Netgalley.
I'm always looking for ways to improve my life. Therefor this book seems like a handy thing. It is always a fun thing to apply easy changes to improve your life. A lot of tips I already knew, but some of them were new. I liked gaining knowledge on it. I liked the book, but I didn't love it.
We already have heard many of the 100 suggestions contained in this book, but exposure to some again is worthwhile. A few new facts were gleaned, and the author's sense of humor is appreciated. No footnotes or citations to back up claims although most concepts are mainstream and not radical.
