What you will find between the pages: Humour (twisted, dirty, ridiculous), sexy sensual romance, and probably (although I try to tone it down) profanity.

My stories will always be supernatural, romance, suspense: ghosts, fairies, etc.

I read less than I'd like to, eat more chocolate than I should, and more likely than not you will find me chilling with a glass of red; on a good day, I'll drink straight from the bottle...

Ravenna Young hits the mark again with the sequel to her Third Eye P.I., Floozies and Fallout. The treat here, as in the first book, is the juicy, flawed main character she’s crafted: Cassie Woods is fire in more ways than one. Young chooses a POV that makes us privy to Cassie’s deepest thoughts, thoughts that compel us to turn the pages and follow her through the tangled web of lies, deceit, and mystery that is Floozies and Fallout.

Young writes with a purpose and a sense of economy. Her descriptions don’t just describe but tell you something about the inside. Of the character Daniel young writes, “Everything about him seemed completely controlled, even his curly brown hair had been styled in such a way that the curls begged to be released from their gel prison. His impeccably pressed white shirt and black dress pants, his work clothes of choice, didn’t dare form a single wrinkle.”

This genre-defying gem has it all: suspense, mystery, erotica, and the supernatural in a subtle but effective way. And the intrigue kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page with sequences like this: “Resting on a sturdy branch, she [Cassie] watched as he approached the tree, his black fur a shadow against the snow in the dark. Glancing up, his blue eyes glowed against the moonlight as they connected with hers, burning their intent into her mind. A life for a life… it’s what he wanted and he wouldn’t stop until his hunger was fed with her blood.” Well paced, well-developed main and secondary characters, and writing that reels you in and keeps you in the game. Highly recommended and waiting for book 3.

Well written and a lot of fun

Floozies and Fallout was a great read, just like the preceding story. Cassie, the main character is fun to follow because she does what she wants and has cool abilities that lead her to stopping the bad guys.

In this second part, she goes undercover to the strip club to find a missing husband and $84,000- and we get some hot pole action!

Cassie also learns more about her developing gifts and finds love. I like this author's writing a lot because it flows and entertains, and is even a little racy.

I enjoyed this one.
Strong female main character learning her supernatural skills.

There are three mmcs and I actually enjoy all of them as well as the best friend. Looks like in this book fmc picks a mmc to settle with possibly?

I’d like to continue the series if it’s going to be put on audio. Narration was done well and storyline and world building got better as this is book two in the series.

Gifted audio this is my honest review

Floozies & Fallouts is the second book in its series. If you have read the first book then you will be pleased to see Cassie's horse loving, best friend, Eryn, is still around. Eryn's brother Ben, also makes a return, who Cassie is still messing around with.

One of Cassie's dreams is giving her trouble because she can not see who really killed Dillon. But when she dose finally see who did it, she is shocked.

This book follows Cassie, a physic private investigator, into a world of pole dancing. Cassie needs to find out just what is going on behind the clubs doors. What are Rayan's intention?

As a chick lit writer I like to read other genre's. Ravenna's writing style is uncensored and raw, this is why I like her. Her writing does not fit the norm and her charters are unfiltered. The character view point tends to head hop, but I quite like that, it's raw. The story is fast moving with lots going on and you don't get to see Cassie's inner-feelings that much, but to be honest, sometimes its just nice to read about the story line and not bother so much with the main charters deep and darkest thoughts. I like this author and even though her charter Cassie is shockingly cray cray, I find my self really liking her. She is a young girl trying to find her way in life.
