With over 100 5-star reviews, this serial trilogy is bundled for the first time. More than 200,000 words. Approximately 700 pages. No cliffhanger!
Living alone in a small cottage in the woods, Michelle is hiding from a past too horrible to put into words. Without other people around, she finds she can focus better on simply surviving instead of regretting things she can’t change — like the scary scar on her face.
But everything changes after a severe storm. Michelle finds a mysterious stranger injured in the woods and knows she must open her doors to help him recuperate. When he awakens, however, he has no memory of who he is or where he came from.
Michelle and Jonathan face a growing attraction to each other, but when Jonathan’s past is revealed, will Michelle find herself worthy of the love of a billionaire?
It took me a little while to get into this trilogy. I'll be honest and say I almost stopped reading it after the first book but I'm so glad I didn't. I enjoyed the journey Jon and Michelle took me on, all of the twists and turns. I loved these two characters and despised some of the others. Some of the plot was predictable but there were a lot of surprises too, some of which were heartbreaking. I would definitely recommend reading these and I'm looking forward to finding more from this author.
This story has everything you likes ,and keeps reading, intense, and show you how's sometimes, people betrayal the life's others to make them down. But The reaffirmation of love ,no matter what and the great characters: keep the reader on track:: Highly Recommended😁😀
This was a awesome series to read. I read this series from the beginning to the very end. It was wonderful, romantic, intriguing, sexy, and loving. I would definitely recommend this series to read!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍👍👍
I am so glad this was put into a box set, makes reading easier since originally this is split into 3 part serial. There are some flaws in this story but I loved it nonetheless.
I really didn’t feel like I would read anything from this author again due to the lack of intimate encounters of her previous books I’d read. Damn, she knocked it out of the ballpark with this book. Great story line and just an all around awesome book!!
I love this story from start to finish. Loved the situation s that the characters found themselves in and the true life situation alike alcoholism and mean girl syndrome. The story of Michelle and her disfigurement was heart wrenching and the reason she didn't fix her burn tore at my heart. When you learned Jonathan's story you understood why he didn't want to remember his past. When they were together in the beginning I thought she was to meek. When they separated I didn't care for the change in her it was to severe and the revenge aspect I felt was geared toward the wrong person. When they came together again I loved it . There was a perfect balance for each. They brought out and highlighted the best in each other and were able to stretch their wings and enter into new and challenging endeavours. Hope to read more of her work.
A scarred girl named Michelle finds a man in the woods and drags him to her cabin. Michelle has been living a solitary life in a cabin in the woods after her parents death. She keeps chickens, fishes, grows vegetable and cooks and cleans. She is a very self sufficient person who enjoys her existance.. However the apperance of Jolnathan changes things. He stays with her a year and eventually his family's detectives find him. Turns out he is a rich billionaire who is CEO of his family's company. Michelle attempts to live in his world but she is unhappy. . This unhappiness leads to destruction....Read and experience the life of the ultra rich and experience all the characters that are included in this story. The story illustrates love and how twisted family life can be. Enjoy!
This book was originally three parts, but could have been told in less than one. The author kept repeating the same thing over and over and over again. And some of it was so unbelievable. What 18 year old is going to leave the hospital and go and live in the back of beyond on her own, scar or no scar. Oh, and the scar changed places about midway through book one. Also, who is going to let a 23 year old with only a high school education walk in and take over a company. I finished this book because I can't stand to not finish. But I will NEVER read this author again. My biggest pet peeve though was the use of the word 'anyways' that is a regional dialect word and not proper grammar.
This could have been a great book. It was good, but not great. I loved the story and plot. The pages flowed easily in the beginning, but then started to drag and I found myself skimming, which is usually something I never do. To my child detail is not always good. I know you need to develop an understanding of the characters, but pages and pages of feelings and thoughts, too much. I would have to go back and reread the last statement just to remember what it was about by the time another character gave a response or answer. Someone would say or ask something and then 20 pages of what she was thinking, then a answer. But, good storyline. This could have been a great book.
OMG, Lexie Ray grabs you in this series and won't let you go!!!!!!
OH GOSH..... Lexie completely rocked it in this series. Stated reading it and was a little concerned that is what was going down a weird path, but then it turned and twisted and I became 100% engrossed/ couldn't put it down. I yelled out loud, grumbled and bawled my eyes out on several occasions. Totally recommend this to those that enjoy some mysterious characters that turn into hot lovers, only to get caught up in the billionaire hoopla and maybe just maybe find a happy ending (but not after some serious twists and turns)
Well, I really liked the first part (minus the mother-in-law). It all started to go downhill after that. I could live with the separation with his CEO traveling. The sister being a conniving bitch was very sad. But, getting into the third part with her revenge and Milo, I was really upset. In order to finish, I skipped to chapter 8 after the 82% mark. The H and h make up, but what happened around 80-82% was just terrible (and I don't even know how bad it got until chapter 8). I would only recommend the first part if you can live with the cliffhanger. The rest, nope.
This was an amazing story. The author takes you through so much. Your feel like you are on a roller coaster of emotions. I definitely could not stop reading this book even at 2 in the morning on a work day. That Amelia was a true bitch. I got so angry with her. I was so heartbroken with the story of this couple and you will be too. I know I will be reading this again and again. Guess I better get started an you will want to also..just don't start during the work week.
I liked the story and some of the twists and turns. It was longer than it needed to be, though, with long-winded narratives. There were also weird time anomalies; some parts seemed as though they were weeks long, but were later clarified to be only a couple of days, while others seemed to be a couple of days but were referred to as weeks. Overall, a good story that could have benefited from some better editing.
However, I was so completely frustrated with the whole story. Therefore, having to take breaks, because the character in this story took extreme measures of feeling sorry for herself, that she went through many different stages to sabotage herself and destroy everything around her. The ending was a bit more happily ever after and I was able to appreciate the sacrifice of love and reconciliation between the pair at the end.
While the story had it's HEA, it was brutally emotional. You could feel the emotions of the characters through the writing. It had some writing errors, but very few haven't. I've read a lot of Unlimited stories, this had a unique story, some parts predictable and other parts unexpected.
This story is Awesome. Michelle went thru a lot made me tear up a couple of times but i love love Jonathan, a strong and faithful beautiful man with so much love for her. Hate his Mom and sister and specIally the Ex Violet UGH!! Ooh and his best friend Brock Assh@$! Beautiful book love it. Thanks Lexie can't wait read the next.
This story was very emotional. I don't know how many times I got angry and cried and laughed. I had a feeling that Jane was a sneaky lil Shit. Smh because she was bored. Rich people are just ugh at times.
I have to say this was a crazy roller coaster. I had my moments of wondering If I was going to finish the book. Then it just kept getting better and better and I actually stayed up the entire night to finish it. This is a must read!!!!
A wonderful story about two people who go through more trials than a person should and have the potential to be stronger in the end. Question is, will love be strong enough to keep them together when so many people are trying to tear them apart?
This is an excellent trilogy the author covers many tragic things from memory loss, car crashes, loss of loved ones and miscarriage and does it in a very sympathetic way with a great love story running throughout. Brilliant work well worth reading.
This series was interesting but so one sided. She was thrust into a den of snakes and had no knowledge about how to deal with people on that level. She went through a transformation of her own. She was strong but he came off weak. He was not an alpha male.
Well paced for the most part. Innocence versus experience at the top of an extraordinary carousel of wealth. Some strong editing would be welcome but a good poolside read as it is.
This is a pretty good book. Lots of drama and heart ache. I crying a few times. There was some humor also. I did have a question though, what happens to the goat at the end lol.
Loved this story. How Michelle thought she would always be alone, how she found Jon. How she thought no one would love her because of her scar. Him having lost his memory and in the end true love. Loved it.
I nearly gave up about 20% but gave myself a talking to and carried on reading. The next 60% was a good story, but I felt that the last 20% was a bit of a let down. I just lost interest again. Give the book a chance - I just felt that something was missing.
